Dear Master Thanks for you advice. The house is a Period 6 house (built around 1968) and my best direction (prosperity) is north west. The house front faces South east, the back is towards north west and the toilet is in the centre of this north west sector next to the back door. I have been lighting a candle in the toilet and placing water in a wooden bowl inside as well. Will this help? Also, can a iron bell or windchimes help to activate this section of the house for me? I hope you can advise me further. Thanks again. Regards Peter

Edited by Robert: Sorry, without any details in your post don'tknow how to help you.As what inauspicious direction are you referring to? Is it inauspicious due to the eight house (ie death / disaster / spook / irritation)? Or is it your ba zi element not suitable? Or is it the flying star (bad stars)?

Dear Bansari, Bansari shah wrote: Hello, I live in 3 bedrooms house and we have exposed beam in all bedroom and the hall with high ceiling in the middle of the room. Initially I liked it as it makes to look your room big. Now we feel too much pressure on our head.I heard one option is to put flute, but the ceiling is too high for this.Is there any other option to cure. The best way is to have a false ceiling which will cover the beam entirely. The flute is the next best solution. Refer to this previous post on neutralising a concrete ceiling beam:- URL: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=4609 Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Rob…

Dear Desmond, Desmond Lee wrote: Hi, i'm new to FengShui and currently trying to pick up as much as i can. May i ask whether do we use our normal birth date to calculate our 'Ba Zhi' or do we use our lunar or chinese birth date. If you are using any of our free ba zi calculator tools, you just need to input your western birthday. Our system will convert the date to your Chinese Lunar birthday for the ba zi analysis:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm Desmond Lee wrote: If we're using our chinese birth date, how do we calculate as accurately as possible our lunar birth date. Dear MK, MK MK wrote: May I know how to calculate the 5 elements? Frankly, this is rather complicated as you need to determine the number of elements you have for each elements, assign the element strengthen, and take into consideration the combinations and changes in elements. The simple way is take the total element and number of each element. Factor in at least the weightage of total element strength and individual element weightage and you should have a fair percentage breakdown. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you convert my DOB for me, I was born on May 4, 1968 of the Chinese calender and I would like to know what was the Western calender? Some people told me it is May 30 and some told me June 01. Based on the chinese lunar calendar:- Lunar: 4th day, 5th month of1968 Western: 30 May 1968 So 30 May 1968 is the correct western date of birth for you. If western: 1 Jun 1968, then your lunar is 6th day , 5th month of 1968. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi.. I have a question to ask about stove and toilet.. As per attached picture, will there be any leakage of wealth? Cos that is the only favorable position in my kitchen to place the stove, and in order to avoid the toilet entrance from facing the stove, I have purposly build a wall to block it. Would need your advice.. Thank you.. Generally, as long as these two worst setup is avoided, should be ok:- 1. The stove does not face the toilet bowl directly. 2. The stove is not located just behind a wall sharing the toilet bowl. The rest depends on other factors. Given that there is at least a walkway and wall, the stove would not face the toi…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am currently working on the plans for a new 2-storied house to be built this year. Thank you for advising me as to whether I should consider each story separately for feng-shui orientations. Or do I consider the centre of the house regardless of the stories? 1) If the 2 story house belongs entirely to 1 owner, then you should take the facing of the house from the frontage of the entire house, and the center point will remain the same for both levels. 2) If the house is divided into two separate owners, then you each will have their main door entrance just like an apartment. Therefore, the center point and facing will be based on the individ…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello... my question is regards to the placement of dragon and tiger picture puzzle. It's me and my husband's I chinese sign. Thank you very much in advance. Actually, just treat it as a typical painting. As long as the dragon or tiger isn't to like fighting each other(which represents disharmonious - not good for relationship.)Or looking too fierce looking (which can be a sha qi).You can treat it as a normal painting and hang it where you like it just as a decorative item. If puzzle is has conflict or fierce looking meaning, then better not to display it. In feng shui, as long as the picturedoes not have any bad meaning associated when yo…

Dear Anon, Yes, some Feng Shui books often indicate that when we cook, we should be able to see who is coming into the kitchen. This is a commonsense approach: 1. Not often, we will leave the entrance door open. But, sometimes, when we cook, the noise may drown e.g. a bell or someone calling us at the main entrance. Especially so if it is any of our loved ones ... especially the very young children who may have just came back from school. 2. Should someone have left the entrance door open, we may see "an intruder" come in ..eg towards us.. (Most unlikely.. but this is what some of the book(s) say... Frankly, most of the time Para 1 and 2 does not happen. As often, we …

Sirs, For several years, my husband and I had our bed with the head facing north; the bed itself was in the northwest. North is good for me, northwest is good for him. We were trying to have a child. We finally had a daughter. It was considered quite remarkable I was able to have a child at all, so this is a great blessing for us. Then, when our daughter was five months, I became quite ill. I sucessfully recovered, but became very concerned about the position of our bed- the northwest being the death position for me. We changed our bed to the north/northeast, with me sleeping on the north side and my husband sleeping on the northeast side. The head of the bed now faces …

That is about all. For a house, you only use it check if a bedroom is suitable, where is the best position to sleep, where is the best position t…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: How does chinese lunar calendar works to select the gender of baby and how accurate it is? How can I calculate chinese lunar age? I presume here that you are refering to a chinese method of deducing the best date to give birth to a boy or a girl, right? If so, then I won't be able to tell you for sure. As this is a method passed down from previous generations, so it might have some logical deduction method. However, from what I heard from older generations who had tried it, is there is some degree of truth to the formula. So no harm trying it. Maybe the best way to know if it works or not is to try it. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I reliase that my wealth sector is located in the toilet and store. How can i maximise my wealth sector to benefit me financiallyor minimise my losses (as financially i have not been doing well). If your wealth stars falls in your toilet or storeroom area, you will not be able to maximise or activate that wealth luck. In fact, if the wealth stars falls in your toilet, it will symbolise a leak of your wealth. One method is to place a chinse hulu (bottle gourd) usually to help minimise this is to attempt to symoblically trap the some of the wealth before it leaks out. If it the wealth area falls in your storeroom, then you can't benefit from …

Clashes in your house facing element isn't really as bad as having a house falls in your death/disaster sector based on your eight house. You just cannot force a house to be suitable to you. Just like if you bought some clothings, if it fits you can wear it, if not you have to get a bigger or smaller size clothes. Based on your ba zi, your element can be enh…

Clash (being the worst), normally means a completely different nature of horoscope sign that is not compatible (quite similiar to if you think about water and fire). 2. As you mentioned, since that is the only space you can place the headboard, there isn't much else you can do to position in another better favourable direction. So, in this case, there is nothing else you can do about this except to improve other areas of the room that you can correct. For example, make sure the room have a suitable colour s…
