Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. I have a similart arrangement in the cubicle. The only difference is that the columns are ROUND. How can I do something about this ? In this sitting position, I am facing East to South which is good as I'm a East Group person. Another possible cubicle without columns have a South to West direction. I am not sure which is a better choice for me. I can't seem to find any type of remedy for this, should we have separate beds so that we have the best placements individually? Would this affect the marriage for feng shui purposes? Dear CM, For a home, you should be looking at the micro-level e.g. your actual condo or office unit's main door to check on suitability. Sometimes, when the building main entrance is looked at, it is often to apply Flying Star Feng Shui to look or study the qi of the building e.g. where to place a suitable water feature outside of the building and/or to build landscaping to suit the flying stars. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Eg. I am an East-group person, is it ok to choose a home/office where: - the building's main entrance is facing NE, SW, W, NW, - but the actual condo/office unit's main door is facing N, E, S, SE?

Dear Patricia, Yes, in particular, even if your home has a combination of ten, it is good to review the layout plan to see if the home could or could not benefit from a change of Period. For example, as you had mentioned theparticular concern iswhcih part of the home the north #7's fall into. If this is the living room or activityarea orroom, then, one may seriously have to consider "flying" toperiod 8.Again, you need to study the Period 8 chartto see if the layout plan is suitable for activating double auspicous #8 at the South sector as well as other good sectors like SW and West. Dear Anon, Feng Shui is about earth luck. And usually an investigation using Flying Star can help detect any issues with regards to health in one's home. The tell tale signs of health issues are especially: 1. bad star numbers e.g. #5 with /or #2 with or #9 combined or in isolation 2. These stars fall either in the bedroom or frontage of the home. For example, for wealth wise, a Period 8, SW1 has good $$ prospect. But such a home potentially has to "take-care" of health issues/problems. For example: Period 8, SW1 :- Frontage SW has M5 W8 B5 Back NE has M8 W2 B2 As the frontage and back of the home are equally important, such a home has to control in particular bad…

Dear Jian Rong, Yes, some Feng Shui practitioner(s) often recommend a mirror at the stove area. One commonsense approach is that this may allow the person cooking to look at his/her "blind spot" or simply: the person who cook can see who's coming into the kitchen. On the other hand, it is the FS practitioner's idea that having a mirror like you had mentioned, below could "double" the food being cooked. Another senario is often to symbollically change the direction of the stove to a direction favourable to direction favourable to the occupants. Dear Master, In many fengshui books, there is always mention of pillars and its problems. But how do we define pillar? On the left of attached photo is how my office building looks externally. I have marked an arrow pointing at something which looks like a pillar. The right photo shows what is behind the circled portion of the left photo. This is essentially a corridor and my office main door is facing the said wall (the red arrow points to my main door). Hence is it harmful or harmless that my office main door is facing this piece of wall? Especially if it seems to darken my stretch of corridor? Please advise, thank you. Regards, Sean

Dear Anon, To be honest, if it cannot be physically moved, not much one can do. Under the commonsense approach to Feng Shui, just make sure that usually the sewerage pipe (which is located in the kitchen and hopefully not directly above the stove) is in good repair. The commonsense, here is that should such a pipe burst, the kitchen area, items may be contamined with bateria such as e-coli and others. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: My cooking stove is immediately beneath a toilet bowl upstair. What does this imply? What are the remedies without moving the cooking stove.
