Dear Ann, No. Should concentrate on the MS# with WS#. For example under Period 8, all centre palace has base = #8. But when determing the characteristics of the centre palace, often MS# with WS# are taken into account. Normally, the base = #8 remains "silent". Warmest Regards, Cecil

  3. Started by lesliecli,

Dear Leslie, Traditional Feng Shui is about Yin and Yang. Further down the chain, on the next level is the Five Elements concept. 1. For example, a normal mirror is considered a `Yin' object. 2. Mirrors are known to be able to bounce Qi (or Ch'i energy). For concepts like the Eight Aspirations / Eight Associations, this is one of the `lowest' or least important aspect in Feng Shui. One reason for saying this is because it is too general a theory as it does not apply to a specific group of person but to nearly everyone. Imagine, if everyone in the same company or for the matter the whole country tries to enhance their `Career' sector what would be the result like? Unlike…

Dear Anon, Look at it this way - Many people do not have the `previlege' of choosing an auspicious date. Let's put it this way: some choose dates is to `play-it-safe'. It should be considered as `nice to have' rather than a must. As mentioned, some people like to `play-it-safe', that's all. I can draw a parallel, to some young couples; looking for Feng Shui advise. They want or hope to engage a Feng Shui practitioner so that, they want to try to see if they can start life or try to start their life or hope to start their life with a `clean state'. In my opinion, therefore, as I had mentioned earlier, selecting good dates is NICE TO HAVE. And not a necessity. The t…

Dear Anon, Glad that you have `sharp' eye sight. Frankly, I did not comment on the half fish structure because I wanted to know if anyone would ask about it. Well, the more important point is the use of the clay (earth) light holders as I mentioned earlier that represents light. In Feng Shui, light is also considered one of the `items' that can aid in enhancing Qi. Here light is equivalent of water positions like a fountain. This half fish object can be seen under two context: 1. It is equivalent of the object used to light the clay (earth) light holder. Here, you understand that symbolic is again very important in Feng Shui. The shiny metallic half fish creature thus sym…

  7. Dear Anon, Since youintend to do a major renovation, then try to select the latest date. It is good to just see which period is better. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: It is a2 story house that used to be 2separate houses, one donwstairs and oneupstair. The first story (house nr.1) was built in 1956, the second story (house nr.2) in 1981........ andifwebuy the house we would do a mayor renovation in order to conect both houses and transform them in only one house.

Hi! Cecil,Thanks for your reply.I hope I have put my questions clearly this time. The room is located East and I draw a flying star chart period 7 main door facing S2 172.5 to 187.5 and the star in the East section, are 5 base star and 5 Mountain 9 Facing Star. ( I think?) The Bread winner's Kua is 8. and he sleeps in a North room. Please could you tel me what should I do for the room in the East? The person in that room has Kua 7. My main worry is that the room in the East doesn't have good stars. Also one more question how do you find out what is a good Mt & water star and what is bad. Thanks, Regards.

Dear Cloud, Although, I have some idea of what the `tray' ceiling looks like but have not seen one closely so cannot (fully) comment on how `bad' it is. Overall, two Feng Shui `tools' are available: 1. A pair of flutes in a `Ba Gua formation' ----- / \ 2. Windchime One has to be cautious if one uses it in the room or at any other locations in the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

What I wondered was, if most of the parts are made of glass (only one metal rod, and the rest are glass squares), does this make it more similar to the water element? Especially since it is in a blue color? Do the six glass squares represent the metal element because of the number 6? Would it be better to buy this style of wind chime in the purple color (fire element) so as not to add too much water to the wood elements 3 and 4 found in this sector? Or is the blue color ok because water and metal go together? If I bought one of the chimes with metal rods but not having the right number of rods (having, say, 3, 4 or 5 rods) what would be the effect of that? What is preferr…

Dear William, Frankly, there is no harm in hanging a painting of guan yin facing the main door. Usually, it is hang in the living room area. Although the painting of guan yin does not have it's eyes "dotted", it is still best to avoid:- 1. letting the painting face the dining table 2. have it's back to a toilet wall or share a toilet wall 3. avoid facing into any of the bedrooms. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Which is why, it is better to create a garden with many different plants together to form a garden, rather than just a single tree or plant. This firstly, creates a better landscaping which makes it more pleasant to look at. Back to your question. Some people may view the splitting of tree trunk as inauspicious, because it represents…

  18. Dear Anon, Thank you for sharing with everyone this information. Yes, this general belief is considered by many FS experts specialising in Shapes and Form School. We can generally classify this as under " Symbolism " in Feng Shui. A few Taiwan FS Masters also warn of `innocent' objects such as a thin narrow Chimney as equivalent to a joss stick. The end result is usually calamity or death for family members. Once again, thanks for sharing with everyone this information. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Anonymous wrote: The office desk have a partition that face the staircase. If the partition isn't there, then it is very bad. But with the partition, it helps to block the sha qi from the stairs, so it is not as bad. Like what we have been saying, whatever that you cannot see, no longer becomes a problem. So luckily, there is a partition that helps to block some of the Sha Qi to your sitting position. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Froma Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your bed-head is still against a solid wall - good or OK. 4. Furthermore; in a sense; more light can pass thru that specific bedroom.
