The room is located East and I draw a flying star chart period 7 main door facing S2 172.5 to 187.5 and the star in the East section, are 5 base star and 5 Mountain 9 Facing Star. ( I think?) South = Fire and let you do whatever necessary to enhance the location based on a fixed element. I believe all your four questions, what has been done is to simply super-impose the Four Symbolic animals `exactly' into the home environment. Dear William, Frankly, there is no harm in hanging a painting of guan yin facing the main door. Usually, it is hang in the living room area. Although the painting of guan yin does not have it's eyes "dotted", it is still best to avoid:- 1. letting the painting face the dining table 2. have it's back to a toilet wall or share a toilet wall 3. avoid facing into any of the bedrooms. Dear Anon, 1. Yes, washing machines should be considered as a water position. 1.1. Especially front loading washing machines that has a circular glass pothole. 1.2. Thus it is less than ideal for this glass pothole to face the stove. 2. In addition, water pipe is used to draw in water into it at the back and the output of dirty water is also produced. 3. A microwave is (contrary) to popular belief - belongs to the metal element. Since, it's energy is concentrated inwards.
