Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What if the main door is not located either North or NorthEast, but exactly North by Northeast, right down the middle of the two directions? Frankly, such a house that falls in the exact degree between two directions are often not auspicious because, it is like neither here or neither there. One way that most masters will suggest is to embbed a metal ruler/frame around or at the bottom/top of the floor in such a way that when you use a read a compass standing at the door area, it will shift and point towards the more favourable direction. Dear Kat Kanz, kat kanz wrote: IfI live in the south hemisphere( Peru- South America) and I`m using a compass to apply the 9 Stars Method, Polar Star, etc then how it will affect Feng Shui since we have opposite weather, time, location, etc. All my books come from Europe and Usa, so I`m not sure if the information is valid in Lima-Peru. A few traditional Feng Shui Masters have stated their views that there should not be any changes with respect to people living in the South Hemisphere. We also believe there is really no need to make any special alternation to the feng shui analysis. Actually, the seasons in the South is still the same as in the North. Only difference it…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My sons' bedroom falls in the spooky area of the house. How to counter this problem? Should I paint the bedroom with their suitable bright color? Can they still sleep in this room even though it is not their ideal place to sleep? My eldest son's ideal placeshould beour master bedroom while youngest is my husband's ideal study room. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks. You cannot correct a suitablity problem. A suitability sector is for you to assess whether it is good for a person to make use of that room or not. So you can only opt to use or not to use it if it is really bad. Spook and Irritation are not as bad as death or disaster sector. …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: In this ever slowing real estate sale of houses in south west Florida, USA, I am wondering if there is anything that I can do to bring a buying to purchase my house. House faces due North. Unfortunately, Feng Shui is not a miracle cure for all problems. If the house has some good feng shui feature, you can make use of that point as an additional point to helping to promote the sale of the house. The other thing you can do is attempt to improve your own personal ba zi luck so that your overall luck will be boosted. This way, it may help you get a buyer that is interested in your home. Otherwise, theses non-feng shui factors are always at t…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am moving into an apartment with a friend. Our bedroom doors directly face each other, and already am afraid conflicts may arise between us (regardless of layout). I have read there a placement of a windchime in-between is a solution to this, but does not seem practical, since we do not want to hear the noise from it. Are there any other solutions to this problem? Thank you. A common method is to use a red paint to dot the door handle of the two door. This way it helps to signify that the two occupants can hopefully see eye-to-eye. i believe this is the more practical solution that the windchime. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Le…

Ihave a problem to determine if the lake is considered to be behind or at the front of my terrace house. My main entrance faces my car porch and opposite are other terrace houses. There is only a small window on this side apart from the main door. Upon entering the main door is the kitchen + toilet + maid room, followed by dining hall and then living hall. My living room has large glass window and sliding door and it overlooks a 20ft garden and about 5ft below the garden is a jogging track as well as open space of about 33ft followed by a hugh lake. If the main door is considered as the front of the house, then the lake is at the back which is bad feng shui. However i…

Dear Respected Sirs, I am finalising the design for a new house, and I am having difficulty interesting the architectin Feng Shui considerations. Attached are two images, the first of the original house design, the second with an alteration to the staircase, amongst other things. The architect said he had been told that a staircase could face the front door directly (which I realise is a very undesirable option) as long as a large statue or water fountain was placed between them. He later agreed to modify the design, and produced a curving staircase as shown in the second attached image. My two questions are: 1. Does the curving staircase solve the problem - ie, i…

If I have a 4 7 8 combination will the water not enhance the mountain wood? By adding fire/earth to enahnce the earth is this not reducing any water outside? Also if I have a pond at the back of the house and this is meant to be sitting Mountain is this bad? Thank you
