Dear Anon, For the Chinese, in particular, when one is pregnant, one should not move one's bed. This is a taboo. More importantly, don't move your current bed especially before giving birth. Therefore, if possible, try to avoid moving any furniture (if any) inside your bedroom (master bedroom). As for other rooms or hallway furniture, for practical aspects, you should not participate in moving the furnitures. If possible, should there be a need for furniture to be moved at all, for yourself, try not to be around when they (it) the furniture are moved. We live in a practical world, and as mentioned earlier, don't touch your bedroom furniture... is good enough. Warmes…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: i live on the first floor and someone else lives on the 2nd floor. his bathroom and mine are not alligned and they are in diffent places. Would the bagua area that contains the location of his bathroom affect 1st floor's feng shui ? Thank you Yes, the toilet especially if it is located above will definately affect you. The most common reason is that what happen if the toilet leaks, your room below will be the first one affected by the sewage water dripping down etc. Secondly, the toilet is said to have the most dirty qi within the whole house, so of course having a toilet closeby especially above you. This is similiar to having the toilet lo…

Edited by Robert: The question you are asking isbeyond a free advice question. Should you seek a wedding date consultation service. So not likely to get any further response except for this question:- Qn: Also I heard that 2008 is a good year for marriage - is this correct? This is not entirely true. It really depends on whether the horoscope signsof the bride &groom clash with the year. So not really that it isa good year for all. Thosehoroscope sign that clash may not find it a good year. -- Hi, I am a snake born on 3rd Feb 78 at 3:45pmand my bride to be is a goat born on the 6th May 79 at 4.40am, my father is a dragon (1940), mum is a chicken (1945). Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My date of birth is 8th september 1976. I calculate my age by considering the day of birth(i.e i will be 1yr by 8th september 1977). I would like to know my lunar age by today(nov 16 2006). Your birth date is 8 Sep 1976, so your lunar birth date is 15 day 8 month 1976. So as of 15 day 8 month 1976 (6 Oct 2006), you should be age 30 yrs. As at 16 Nov 2006 0000hrs (26th day 9th month 2006), you should age 30yrs and 40 day. Dear Anon, For the ground floor, since there is a garage, best to close the garage door when not in use. Once this is done the middle door can still be left open without further issue. Thus if this is done, no longer compulsory to place the plants. For upper floors, try to close any one of the middleroom doors will do. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sharlene, Sharlene Soh wrote: Qn 1: Could you please advise what is the impact to a person whoworks in an industry belonging to his unfavourable element but the jobscope is of a favourable element? and vice versa? Of course that won't be as favourable as having both a industry and job scope that is favourable. So it will be a mixed element career. As to whether good or bad, really depends on the element. For example, a weak wood person, if the industry is metal, but the job scope is water. Metal destroy weak wood which would seem to be bad, but as water helps wood, and metal actually makes water stronger. Therefore, this industry helps to boost the job scope eleme…

Dear Aloysius, Aloysius Chia wrote: May I know if Alamac show Day 1 is good for all events (moving house, opening door, etc) but personal auspicious day show very inauspicious, which one should I follow. In general, the alamac is simply a forecast of good and bad days irregardless of who is using it for. ie it means it is a day that is generally good for everyone on this year to make use of. You still need to check whether your horoscope sign is compatible etc before one actually use it. Otherwise, it will still harm you (if the day clashes with you). The personal auspicious date is one that considers your personal ba zi. This means it considers whether your chart has an…

You can either sit facing either your best eight house or best ba zi facing direction. I would recommend you go for your ba zi direction as this is more flexible to be used anywhere (ie not in your own office), while eight house is best used for house suitability or best work direction (in your own office). If you can find a direction that is both good for your eight house and bazi, that will be the most ideal direction to face whenever you have any business meeting or negotiations. A. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master...i wanted to know if my unit number is auspicious...however, i'm not sure what is the year the house was built. Mine is a condo, just TOP in Oct 2006. Thus may i know wats considered "the year the house was built"?would it be TOP date? Completion date? or the date developer got the land? Houses built between(1984-2003) are considered Period 7 houses. Houses built after 2004 are consdiered Period 8 houses. Usually, you should take theyearwhen the developement is completed and ready for people to stay. So the TOP date is a safe date to use since it is means that the developement is ready for people to stay in. Hope that helps. War…

Dear Andy, An event's manager may be considered as a wood element. While a nutritionist especially if you do provide frequent advise to people can also be considered directly as belonging to the wood element. As wood element is about "growth/ nurturing", teaching, training andin thecase of an event's manager co-ordination. If so, if we strictly based on the FiveElements concept, metal destroys wood to create wealth. Thus without considering your personal traits or preferences, both are suppose to acceptable to you. Usually, the most obvious concern of this home is the 'T'junction that you had mentioned. In particular, the most vuneral part of the home is to check whether the main entrance or windows are "exposed" to this 'T'junction. If the main enrnace door or windows are exposed towards the 'T'junction, a cluster of bushes may not be as effective. Usually, the most effective is a "solid" wall or fencing would be better or safer. So long as one does not as yet stay in the new home, anytime of the year is OK to start renovations. However, if one has already moved-in; best for this year to avoid renovations especially at the NW (Grand Duke location which is the main door) and Wes…

Dear Hoa, In my opinion, what you had described; on it's own may not be considered as a change of the house period. Imagine this: it is akin to a person, changing his/her skin and yet the mouth e.g. (main entrance doors) remains untouched. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Hoa Luong wrote: Not just the glass, but all the frames were replaced also. Basically, I got all new windows including frames and glass (all 14 of them). Dear Johanna, In fact, many people would fall into your category of having chosen "wrong homes". What is more important is a "holistic approach" to Feng Shui. What you had mentioned is like the "tip-of-the-ice-berg". Generally, what you had described has to do with the eight house theory. It is only one of the sub-divisions of the Compass School Feng Shui. As mentioned above, a holistic approach is if one really applies Feng Shui to review or access a situation or home / office is to apply:- a. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui b. Compass School: Eight House with Flying Star Thus, what you had described is just one sub-division of the Compass School Feng Shui. A full F…

Dear Susan, It is best that you do not include the non-living areas such as a garage when determining the rectangle of the house. The sink and windows of the garage should also be discounted since it belongs to this area. If one is having a problem, try to use the 2nd storey outline to determine the "rectangle" outline of your home. Here, you would have already determined the centre-point of the home. And use this to match the lower floor - while "cutting" out the excess fat (garage area). The idea of the centrepoint is to find the "centre" of gravity in a home. (but discounting the garage area) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Based on what you had described, this is not a "real definition" of such a leak. For this leak, it has to be a straight path from the main entrance door directlytowards the back or an opening. What you had described is thus a 90 degree turn from the main entrance door. Thus is not the same as above. It is best that you check for other "leaks" in the home, instead. Warmest Regards, Cecil Anonymous wrote: My front door opens into a narrow hallwaywall andturns to facethe back door which is a sliding door, so chi comes in and goes out.
