General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Started by ladyisis,

Dear Susan, Please see below:- If you have a layout plan it would be much easier to give you proper advise. There is a conference for attachments for this. I understand, you have applied for help under our token, audit for `hardship' case. Robert will give you the necessary credit for this. For those, who have problems, is advisable to use more professional tools as it usually will help to analyse the situation in a more `scientific' way. A layout plan would help us locate the main door. If you have previously, consulted any practitioners and had been given advise on purchasing `stuffs' to hang, it is adviseable to remove them totally. From many past cases, it is …

  2. Cecil, Both my wife and I are metal dogs, born in 1970, with Kua No. 3. We stay in a South West facing house with our bedroom in the south sector. We sleep with our heads facing East. The East wall, this year, is afflicted I think with the Illness star. We have an 8 immortal wulou in our bedroom. This East Wall is shared by our neighbour, who sleeps on the opposite side of this wall, with their heads facing West (us). My neighbour for the past year or so has had cancer and because of this, my wife feels that with us sleeping facing East (due to illness star) and facing this neighbour, there is a double dose of negative energy. Is this true? My wife has had difficulty…

These are additional considerations:- 1. Earth luck is strongest on the ground. Thus for a landed property, the sitting and facing direction is much easier to get correct: unless the land is complicated by e.g. the back of the home faces a beautiful lake etc... 2. But if your "potential house" is really not a landed property but a so called high rise; What makes one think that you can get the facing direction 100 percent correct? Even amongst geomancers; can't agree with the sitting and facing direction. 3. As mentioned under Para 2; G.I.G.O. If one feels that facing direction is West but instead the real facing direction is another facing direction.... 4. Facing west si…

Dear CindyLu, Quote: I've always wondered if feng shui helps people struggling with weight loss/gain. Would this just be associated with the general health star? or does this not have significance in flying star? Please understand that Feng Shui is no mircle cure for all problems. Health / Relationships are two of the areas which Feng Shui has least influence or effect. Health is best to always seek Medical advice from doctors. To excercise to improve your health and maintain healthy diet. Relationship depends on two person's willingness to give in to each other. So if you understand this, you will know that there is no way that Feng Shui can fully have an impact ove…

  8. Dear Master Cecil, I belongs to the west group which currently my apartment main door is facingnorth and the living room is facing east while my master bedroom is south east. I am constantly feeling giddy, headaches and uncomfortness especially in the nights when i sat in the living room, regularly sensing chilling air in my living and bedrooms(SW). Also our family members doesnt seems to be accomodating well with each other as lots of quarrels happens. Kitchen is located in NE. The facing of my living room ( East ) is facing a "T" junction+ electrical lamp post while i stay on the 12th floor, does that matters? On the opposite site, was 2 big tall building with a wal…

The unit is at ground floor and the living room windows and bedroom's balcony are facing the main entrance to the apartment. Our whole family are suffering some health problem now. Hi,are there any concernsif the following applies to my home?? a) The Health sector happens to be where the toilet is b)The Prosperity sector is at the entrance/front door area. c) The Excellent sector is in the kitchen. Any things I can do to improve luck (apart from implementing fengshui measures based on my Flying Star chart report??)? Thanks! By the way, my husband (main breadwinner) is a West person, but the flat's facing direction (i.e. the direction with the windows and scenery)is SE (Irritation). The main door of the flat however, is in NW (Prosperity). Would this flat still be considered unlucky for him?

  12. Dear Cecil, Thank you so much for taking time to reply my queries. We have considered your suggestion of shifting the bed to opposite side of the room. This may be too costly for us at the moment since on the opposite side of the room we have some fixed (built-in) wardrobe and shelves, if you have noticed from my drawing. We would have to hire carpenters to rebuild these wardrobes if we were to shift them because they were initially built with the intention of covering the unsightly almost-one-foot beam on whole stretch of this wall. In my previous e-mail, I mentioned the possibility of shifting the bed to the wall adjacent to the toilet wall, the other only available wal…

Dear David, It is best to read up on Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui also. You can either read up the resources on thie website or any other books written by Traditional Feng Shui practioners on this subject. As you mentioned, it will help you to understand the exterior of your home e.g. the site where the house is on. If you are using the Eight House Analysis, make sure that you use a compass to find the North to South direction of your house and then superimpose the Eight House template onto your house layout plan. Follow the instructions provided under http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm If I am not mistaken, you mentioned the `Fixed' template format. Where you l…

  15. Started by Frase,

Hi fraser, I read your reason for finding out the Heaven-Earth-Human Luck Percentages. I am sorry to say that I do not agree with your reasoning. I think the dreams and other tools like palm history, astrology and 8 character bazis are supposed to be used as guiding tools to strengthen oneself so one can face life without fear and with hope and determination. Not with your reasoning that if the 10 years ahead are going to be tough so why bother to change the outcome since it is destined to be so. Nobody knows for sure what future holds and the destiny can always be changed since there are other unknown factors which affect the destiny. And it is universal law. One will ge…

Dear Anon, 1. I believe it is difficult to alter the height of the fish tank. This is because, most fish tanks plus the supporting legs are high. Thus the fish tank is usually at eye level. 2. The fish tank is thus more for the hobbyist rather than activating the `water star'. 3. The water star if one gets the meaning correctly means a flat surface. More like a water position such as a pond (not stagnant) or a swimming pool. 4. Another secret ingredient, is "sound". If one has stayed in a condominum or own a koi pond with a fountain, you can hear the movement of water sometimes even when you close the door. 5. For decorattive purposes, it is quite ugly to place the fish t…

    1. The stove is traditionally positioned lower than the sink in most cases. 2. In Singapore, there are over 3,000 condominiums and landed properties where the stove and sink are often at the same height, so the sink being higher than the stove is not a major concern. 3. Following the example from the previous point, it is possible to have both the sink and stove at the same level. 4. Many condominiums opt for a stove cum sink table top that is around 34 inches in height. 5. It is recommended to use 34 inches as the standard table height, as it is the most practical choice. However, 33 inches can also be considered. 6. To be on the safe side, 34 i…

    1. Applying Feng Shui is a holistic approach. 2. You may want to read thru the first page of the wiki:- http://wiki.geomancy.net 3. Even applying proper Feng Shui, there is a holistic approach to it. 4. Honestly giving a simple sketch or giving some details is very hard to find out really what's wrong. As often, a full Feng Shui audit needs informatinon like the Shapes and Forms of the site / building and unit and even compass school. 5. If one really wants to DIY, then you may have to understand - Key Success Factors in D.I.Y. Feng Shui and many more considerations that I had highlighed in the above wiki. Quote: Granted there are many causes but I'm suspecting …

  22. Dear Maverick, maverick ong wrote: I'm a strong yin metal person but my house main door facing directionis East (ie. wood element). How to resolve the conflict ? Clashes in your house facing element isn't really as bad as having a house falls in your death/disaster sector based on your eight house. This is because if your house faces your death or disaster sector, you cannot really correct this problem. As the house either suits you or not suits you. You just cannot force a house to be suitable to you. Just like if you bought some clothings, if it fits you can wear it, if not you have to get a bigger or smaller size clothes. Based on your ba zi, your element can be enh…

  23. Hi Master Lee, I am looking at staying in a house of this attached floor plan but I am concerned about missing corners. Because of the position and angle of the door, I cannot really figure out if west and southwest are the only missing corners. And if so, is it a serious problem that can be remedied? I am also concerned about the irregular shape of bedrooms. Will that cause any problems in terms of fengshui also? Thank you very much for your advice.

  25. Started by nenus,

Dear Nina, 1. In my opinion, using `fixed' Ba Gua template is not proper FS concepts. 2. However, I have taken the opportunity to marked out the `centre-point' of your house. If you are using Compass School Feng Shui methods such as: Eight House of Flying Star, you can take a compass reading (refer to house1a.bmp) and `aim' the compass towards the main entrance. The compass reading will determine the direction of your main entrance door. 3. For the second part of the `L' shaped layout, you can super-impose the map to this other half. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Please download attached file.
