General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Started by myfs_147733,

Dear Master Cecil, I'm renting a house for 2 years and the one I really like will have the 2019 misfortune star #5 in the living room corner with a fireplace (that will be used). Would the other house be better? Option #1 fireplace house Option #2 North facing house (maybe use the garage door instead?) I really need Star #8 in an auspicious place so let me know which house is better for extra income. Thank you in advance for your advice Lollie (Apr-1-1978) central us time

In my opinion, #7 is acceptable given that it there are two worst combinations if I get you correctly. You have a #5 WS and a #9 MS. Here, fire #9 fuels #5 and further inflames it. In general #7 no need to disarm since it is the palace star and at the same time; although it is "bad metal" but it is a weak metal as #7. This #7 is not the main actorin this sector. #9 fuelling #5 is. Wood: here, there are "two classifications of it". 1. Wood : wood or wood tone or brown 2. Wood : Green colour (and artificial potted plants with greens). Wood under Para 1 is often considered neutral given that it in many homes, it is almost "everywhere". For example: parquet flooring or lami…

  3. Hi Cecil, One more consideration I thought I might add - this is a Kan house (front door and unobstructed view facing south-2 and sitting north) and the annual flying star number for the South sector is 5. 2-5 combo is supposed to be inauspicious as well. So we have the 3 killings, 5 yellow and a 2/5 trigram yearly combination in the bedroom. What can we do to cure the 2/5 combination? Is it safe to sleep in the bedroom at all? Thanks much! CK

    1. Further to what I had mentioned, these are some other considerations:- 1.1. Why did you recommend a general cure for the living room but not my children's bedroom? 1.2. For the children's bedroom there is another set of consideration: 1.2.1 For example the ba zi of the child or if there are more than one child; their ba zi has to be looked at in total. 1.2.2 For example: Child A is a strong metal person. And child B is a strong wood element. And both stay in a bedroom. [1.] Child A, Female - 07 Oct 1993 5.00 a.m. to 6.59 a.m. Birth Element: Strong Metal Favourable Element/Colour: Water (blue/black/gray), Fire (red), Wood (green/brown) Unfavourable Element/Colou…

    1. One has to understand that Flying Star Feng Shui is dynamic based on "time dimension". 2. Even for a home or any given home: each home or sector in a home mathematically has the following variable:- Under the 20 Year flying star: there are:- Mountain star: variable 1 Water star : variable 2 Base (Palace star) : variable 3 You mentioned the Year star: variable 4 There are such things as: Monthly star: variable 5 Daily star : variable 6 Hourly star: variable 7 Seconds star: variable 8 3. Mathematically:there are an interplay of at least 8 variables and only when there are an unfortunate clusters of #5 ... then one is in deep shit. Do not play loud music or have…

Further to what I had mentioned; these are some interesting points: 1. There are many cases where as a result of a tragic death; the person who had dead; does not "know" that he/she has died. And in many situations; could return to his /her favourate place. 2. For example; this is a true story in 1930; this lady had a wonderful time with a new found boyfriend. And tragically, she died nearby in a car crash. 3. During the session where she was asked whether she knew about it; she said that she had no knowledge that she had died. And "strangely" she had walked and no one even "paid attention" to her. 4. This lady returned to the hotel suite that she last enjoyed very m…

If the kitchen has a window, then, you may consider especially a six hollow rod wind chime. If you really can't find a 6 hollow rod wind chime; then as a last resort, get those with hollow (rods). Your alternative of putting a clock with metal chime and pendulum is an alternative provided the pendulum is made of real metal. Nowadays, many "fake" pendulum clocks have pendulums that are made of plastic but sprayed painted in metallic colour.

  9. Dear Carlos, Wow! Double #5's are bad enough (Misfortune/sickness x 2). But with the addition of #9 (strong fire), this is a "potent" inauspicious combination. Since strong fire further fuels strong earth #5 x2. If you can, usually, a set of wind chime could be used outside the bedroom e.g. window area to dissipate this three combined inauspicious combination. In addition, it is best to use metal cure inside this room to further negate the bad sector. Try to avoid: Check the room for presence of Earth element i.e. earth tones e.g. cream, beige or yellow. And further avoid any Fire (red, pink or purple) colour in the room. The most common is to check that the walls are not…

Edited by Robert: Join some duplicate post/additional post together. Dear Master Lee, Qn: I have recently seen a geomancy master and he told me that I have the '5-ghost star' in my life. What is this and how will it benefit/non-benefit me? And if it doesn't benefit me, what can I do to deter it or make it less 'effective'? Qn: i always seem to have 'bad pple' in my life nomatter what i do or how i behave. it really frustrates and disappoints me and i always try to self-reflect on what i may have done to cause this. unfortunately, i don't think i can figure it out. or maybe there is nothing to figure out and is justa fact of life.... my life. if you cannot give me spec…

Dear K T, Unfortunately, everyone is supposed to be born with a certain destiny path. For some people, the big luck (ie 10-year luck) luck is always with him, such person will normally find that whatever they do, things will always work out for them, with minimal effort. However, for majority of us, luck isn't always with us. This means that we have to work extra extra hard as compared to those lucky few who have luck with them. There is no way you can change this. You can however, attempt to improve it by creating an environment with as many areas in your life being favourable to you. ie a weak Wood, will need more Water and Wood. This means that you need to try to ha…

Dear Anon, Frankly, this is not a traditional cure. I can understand the rationale for using salt to be placed at corners. This practice is done by some "English" priests or astrologers. But lets view it realistically. It is real hard to apply this `cure'. It looks ugly and furthermore, there should be a chemical reaction between copper and salt. It is not advisable to use this combination. If, I am not mistaken, small amounts of electricity could be produced for a short while. (Correct me if I am wrong). Warmest Regards, Cecil

I thought this cure is for sector where star #2 and #5 are at? So in what situation do you use 6 coin cure? Regards,

Dear Janice, The 6 coin cure is related to the assessment done under the Flying Star Feng Shui. Here, 6 coins represent `Big metal' or strong metal element. It is used to `destroy' or `neutralise' bad numbers under the Flying Star numerology. As this cure involves the Five elements concept, you may have to first read up or understand the Five elements concept first. Before, progressing to understand how the Flying Star Feng Shui can help you. My advise is to take your time to understand the various concepts in particular:- 1. What is the purpose of each concept. 2. What are it's strengths and weakness. 3. How to apply them effectively. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  16. 1. For the Chinese "ancient" coins:- Under the five elements concept: one notice that it has a square hole in the middle. The square hole represents earth. Thus, Earth (square hole) supports Metal (copper coin). And the red string (or some red) is suppose to "bind" or "control" the entire coin. 2. Hulu tied with red string:- In my opinion, no precedence other than RED being considered as an auspicious colour (color) for the Chinese. And many decorate it with RED. Not only the hulu but many trinkets or decorative items also often tied with red string. For example, the Chinese Palace Lanterns. Each of it's legs are decorated with red strings (tassles). No specific reas…

    1. Please note that generally "Feng Shui" cures are or should be considered as "preventive cures". It is not meant to be used for "existing situations" such as say constant backache etc.. 2. Whenever in doubt, always seek professional help! 3. The ideal choice is the luxury of selecting a home where in general, majority of the bad stars are not clusted at the "mouth" of the house (frontage) and anywhere that we frequently spent time at. Of course this is a luxury most cannot "afford" or too late since we have lived in the home. 4. Nowadays, if we want "clean" air, it is best to depend on Hepa cleaners (such as reputable brands like Honeywell air cleanrs or Japanese Sh…

  19. 1. It is good to hear u have an airconditioner with the ion cluster (often the settings include "shooting out" all negative ions, or " a blast of positive plus negative ions). 2. Try to go for the modern method. However, if one is concerned with aircon bills, then there are relatively good "air-cleaners". No point having an aircon, with such a feature and if the aircon is rarely use. 3. Imagine, how wonderful it would be like if one can stay near the vicinity of a water-fall such as Nigara falls or Victoria falls. (Not so much of people jumping down them to commit suicide; but rather) the idea of a waterfall is that such "furious" water frictions with the air to create …

Dear Angelina, Yes, it is very common to find windchimes with varying or different lengths. This is perfectly OK. Usually, some of them have clinger or the middle coin attached to it - being too heavy to make any sound. (I suspect only a hurricane or a typhoon sized wind may cause it to make a sound. *JOKE*) The better windchimes are those with alluminium rod with a wooden "roof/support" and a wooden clinger. Warmest Regards, Cecil

The reason saltwater is that it contains sodium ions which like metal is a conductor. Interestingly this would mean the sea itself would be metal !!

  23. Dear Hoa Luong, Please see below:- Check to see if water colours (blue, black or grey) is present in your brother's room. In addition, are there already lots of wood in the room? e.g. furniture in wood or laminated wood? If so, then, it is best to try and avoid especially the water elements (colours) in his room. Since, guys usually have a preference of blue. In addition, it is good to place a 6 coins in his room. This is to help him in his work area. For the kitchen, other than the real water positions e.g. wash basins, is the kitchen cabinets/walls in blue, black or grey (other than the flooring. If your mum cooks often, it is acceptable. Since `fire' (in cooking) …

Dear Dominique, A good foundation is always to try and seek the reasoning. The Chinese I-Ching coin can be analysed as followings:- 1. The outer circle (of the coin) Circle represents metal element 2. Colour of the coin The colour of the coin looks metallic i.e. copper coin. (metal element) 3. What is the square hole? If one looks carefully at the productive sequence: Square represents Earth element. What so good about this? Since square represents Earth, under the productive sequence: Earth supports or fuel Metal. Thus symbolically strengthening the Metal element. 4. Why use 6? (6 coins) Number 6 represents BIG or STRONG metal. 5. Why use Red string? Red represents fire.…

  25. Started by myfs_77438,

Dear Hoa Luong, Please take it down immeidately! This is because of the combination of #6 (big or strong metal) with #8 (water star). This #6 already fuels #8 or metal produces #8. By adding your additional 6 coins, this becomes a vicious cycle of creating more water. Or as you have found out, can lead to `water related' problems. Perhaps, can you describe what elements are already in your room: a. wardrope colour b. wall colour c. often used bed sheet colour d. curtain colour. Currently the 6 coins can be detrimental because effectively, you most likely have a three combination flow where: Metal -> Water -> Wood and when you add 6 metal again, this is another cont…
