Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. I have a similart arrangement in the cubicle. The only difference is that the columns are ROUND. How can I do something about this ? In this sitting position, I am facing East to South which is good as I'm a East Group person. Another possible cubicle without columns have a South to West direction. I am not sure which is a better choice for me. Dear CM, For a home, you should be looking at the micro-level e.g. your actual condo or office unit's main door to check on suitability. Sometimes, when the building main entrance is looked at, it is often to apply Flying Star Feng Shui to look or study the qi of the building e.g. where to place a suitable water feature outside of the building and/or to build landscaping to suit the flying stars. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Eg. I am an East-group person, is it ok to choose a home/office where: - the building's main entrance is facing NE, SW, W, NW, - but the actual condo/office unit's main door is facing N, E, S, SE?

Dear Aloysius, Ideally, the main entrance door should not be in a direct path with the balcony. If so; depending on the layout of the door; if the door is close to one side of the apartment, then logically, a partition can be placed between the main door and the balcony area or alternatively, the side of the sliding door facing the main door should not be opened. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, For such items, if not in use should preferably be kept in a storeroom. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, it is best to avoid to avoid a soild object such as the grinding stones at bad earth sectors e.g. #5 or #2. Do not want to inflame these sectors with such a "large boulder". Quote: Anonymous wrote: # I have one of those old style grinding stones - a wok-like solid shape with a hole in the middle, where one puts the grain to be ground with the help of a stone pestle. 6. Dear Karen, If you have around 3 "sha qi" then, usually there are two alternatives: 1. a six-hollow rod wind chime 2. a convex mirror Either one can be used at the balcony area. Dear Aloysius, Good Question. The idea, here is to complete or try to complete all renovations at these areas e.g. North (3killings);West (5 yellow) and NW (Grand Duke) for 2006before we move-into the home. Usually for those who purchased a new home or a resale home:- 1. Select a good date for initial opening of the main entrance door. 2. Select a good date to start renovations. Here, so long as one has not moved-into the apartment, as yet; contractors hacking or knocking or painting at North, West or NW (2006) does not matter. 3. Select a good date to move-in. What matters most is that once we moved-in, avoid doing further work at these three sectors. 2007 is near…

Dear Anon, For this year, if possible (not just the 7th month) avoid painting at North-West sector or the Gand Duke of Jupiter's location. For example, he does not like people to touch (e.g. avoid painting) or disturb him (e.g. avoid drilling or renovations) at this sector. If possible, also avoid painting at West or the yearly #5 sector for this year. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am thinking of re-painting the whole house. 11. Dear Anon, Most of the time, our office orientation (sitting) is constrained by either the layout of the office and the use of system furniture where we are not able to tilt our table. Only those who "own" a room may perhaps change their directions. Again, often if the furniture i.e. cabinets, sidetable and table are fixed, also difficult to change, here. However, Eight House Theory or 4Good & Bad directions has limitations, in your situation. There is no magic cure for this. Since you cannot do much, here; have to consider other situations like looking at home Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am currently facing my 'Death' position i…

Dear Cheryl Usually, it is best to determine what type of wealth "corner" or sector this is. In general, if you have applied Flying Star Feng Shui; the numbers have different connotations:- 1. Mountain Star #8 = relationship, networking, luck = or auspicious mountain star. Activated with a "mountain". 2. Water Star #8 or #1 = water wealth location. Activated with a water feature 3. Base Star #8 = similar to Para 1. However, these stars must not be looked into isolation. Thus, you should have knowledge of MS#, WS# and Base# at each sector inorder to properly balance or enhance each sector. Dear Anon, For really bad stars #5 combined or inflammed by #9; it is good to control this with "moving-metal". "Moving-metal" is particulary useful since you mentioned that in addition to these two bad stars, there is a further #3 = lawsuits, quarrels star. If the bedroom is not a bedroom, then one may consider using a six-hollow-rod windchime at that specific sector. Or a chiming clock around the wall of that sector. A clock that makes mechanical movement is also acceptable. Other traditional Feng Shui cures include:- a. the placement of a hulu or bottle gourd e.g. placed at the bed side table. b. for severe cases: get a jam jar (sized bottle). place 6 copper co…

Dear Anon, Feng Shui is about earth luck. And usually an investigation using Flying Star can help detect any issues with regards to health in one's home. The tell tale signs of health issues are especially: 1. bad star numbers e.g. #5 with /or #2 with or #9 combined or in isolation 2. These stars fall either in the bedroom or frontage of the home. For example, for wealth wise, a Period 8, SW1 has good $$ prospect. But such a home potentially has to "take-care" of health issues/problems. For example: Period 8, SW1 :- Frontage SW has M5 W8 B5 Back NE has M8 W2 B2 As the frontage and back of the home are equally important, such a home has to control in particular bad…

Dear Anon, If possible try to see if you can plot a Flying Star chart. If so, check to see if: #5 misfortune / sickness and/or #2 sickness and/or #9 fire fuelling sickness are in the room or not. The cure depends on the severity of any of the above and or combinations of them. Dear Trish, Frankly, without a sketch, it is quite difficult to figure out your exact room layout plan. Firstly, what are you trying to achieve. From your second last paragraph, you mentioned that pointing west is good for you. However, does it look not only feasible but "comfortable" for you. In other positions are you trying to avoid aiming your foot towards the bathroom door? Generally, if there are no other better placements, this is quite acceptable. Most of the time, to be honest there are limited configurations for placing the bed /bed-head. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Trish Perry wrote: My question has to do with bed positioning. In addition to Para 8, please see below:- 8) In addition, at the KITCHEN, place FA GAO x1 and ORANGES x3 on the stove. - with an ang pow with 20cents or 2 dollars or even number notes/coins will do. - Do not sweep the floor on the three days of placement. For example, if placed on Saturday, only sweep the floor after Monday i.e. from next Tuesday onwards ONLY. - After this date, all the ang pow money can be used to purchase sweets or sweet-drinks for own family consumption. Dear Tanja, In my opinion, the best trouble-shoot is to apply Flying Star Feng Shui. Most likely certain sectors of your home is affected by one or a combination of any of these "sickness" stars:- #5 misfortune /sickness #2 sickness and often "severe" health issues could be attributed to the addition of #9 to any one or both or a combination of these stars e.g. #5 with #5 with #9 = very, very bad health issues #5 with #9 = equally very, very bad health issues and the severity of health issues can come from any combinations or singular #5, #2 and or #9. Dear Eric, Frankly, if there is a double 7th month, often if someone is celebrating their lunar birthday; then the 1st 7th month is considered their birthday. Given that you have a constrain, here i.e. delay if renovations do not start, then, for practical reasons, you may carry out your renovations. But during the renovation period, avoid or try not to visit the home frequently especially to spent time to eat - sleep or eat - bathe or bathe-eat, there. Avoid performing a "supervisory" role during the 7th month when renovations are carried out. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yew Heng, In general, it sounds, OK. However, some of the key factors include: 1. If one stands in-side the home looking outwards, is there any lamp post, or a tree trunk facing the mainentrance or windows of the home. 2. Where possible, the plot of land is rectangular/squarish in shape. 3. Sewerage pipes / conduits running into the home 4. Drainage locations. Ideally should not cut into the side of the home etc..
