Hi, I'm a yang metal female born in the fire dragon year (1976). Kua no. 9. 1. My apartement door is in the southeast, master bedroom (where I sleep is in the north)is this good for me? 2. I decorate my apartement with neutral, earth tone colors using lots of dark brown wood laminates on the wall. Is that okay? 3. I just bought a lovely big metal clock, where should I put it? 4. Which corners to strengthen/weaken for my wealth and romance luck? 5. I have a dark green waterfall painting I plan to install in the east/southeast wall and a white floral (roses)painting in the southwest wall. Bothin theliving room.Is that okay? Hi Master, I just moved my home & currently sleep facing a South-East direction. Quite often i have alot of dream in my sleep and my hubby has no problem. I heard some Fengshui saying that SE is a bad sleeping direction in general for all. Is this true ? If yes and my bed is actually a built in one, quite impossible to change direction, is there any way to counter act this ? In additonal, my toilet is @ the centre of the layout of my house. On the wall of the toilet facing my living room, i happen to make a wooden feature wall on it. Does it helps ? Appreciate your advise, thanks

Dear Edwin, edwin tay wrote: from my bazi overview summary, it says that my favorable career are from wood and water, but from my bazi-career page, it says my wealth career is earth while power career is metal. There are 3 types of career classification. 1. Career with Wealth 2. Career with Power and Authority 3.Suitable Career based on your favourable elements. Career with Wealth/Power and Authority isn't always favourable to everyone, especially for weak element person as their element not strong enough to control the wealth. It does not mean that you cannot venture into these career, just that in order to do so you need first strengthen your weak element. Often …

Dear Amy, Amy Belisle wrote: [6] & [7] - Disaster. When Star 6 and Star 7 cross path, Co-operation is not good. What would be a fix for this? Yikes, everything is working against. Thank you for any advice. I presume, the 6 & 7 number is the house number luck. If so, it just means the house isn't that favourable to you. It will not have as great an impact unless it is refering to the flying stars of the sector. But this does show that this house is not as favourable to you. However…

Dear Anon, Quote: currently my fiance and myself are looking for a house that is scheduled to be completed ahead of schedule in end 2006. My hubby to be kua is 4. Strong fire Mine is 2. Strong fire Seems like what's good for me is bad for him and vice versa. I understand thatthe maleshould draw the luck from the house. Which direction should the master bedroom be in? Hope todraw luck from the room if possible. Believe bed orientation is a headache too...haiz.... This is a very common issue that most people face. So most will apply the give and take approach:- 1. The breadwinner must be given the best house suitability. While if possible the house facing should not fal…

Dear Jason, Quote: Quote: Master Cecil Lee ever said : 1. Apartment (2nd-7th level), main door facing direction. 2. Apartment (8th level and up), living room/balcony is the facing direction. 3. Landed property, facing of the frontage of the house. And I guess in order to get the correct compass reading FOR the Balcony, stand in the center of the Balcony like the Floor Plan.jpg attach together I really could not see the attached file you had attempted to send. As NNTP does not accept attachment postingsif I remember correctly. Any attachment is usually removed. You see the problem here is that flying star can be applied in may different types of frontage and for d…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I read this article which detailed out Flying Star nos. for year 2006 (fire dog year) - as in #8 (N), #3(centre) and so on. It went on to caution against the SE & S sectors and advised general cures for all directions, e.g. avoid red in SE, avoid metal in NW. You should always remember, any yearly analysis without considering the full flying star of the house should be treated as general advise only. As how good or bad depends on the stars interacting with the actual flying star of the house. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Lee, what element is a piano? Is it considered woodelement (because the outercasing and the keyboardis made ofwood)or metal element (because of the metalstrings inside) or water element(because it produces music)? In general, piano by itself is a furniture, depending on the material it is made the type of element can vary. However, when you use it to play music than the action is Water because it produces music. There isn't a real auspicious or specific feng shui location for piano location. It should be treated just as part of a furniture and place where it is most appropriate. ie usually close to the living room area for everyone/…

Thank you for your prompt reply. To further clarify on the same subject, there are eight kua according to the Eight House Theory. I agree that thefacing directionwhere the Qi enter the house is of utmost important. But before that we have to determine the kua of the house before we can apply the Eight House Theory. So, a house that sits on East (using the loupan to determine), it is the "chen" kua and thus we can apply, based on the Eight House Theory, the favourable and unfavourable directions based on the "chen" kua. Do you agree?

Dear Master, In many fengshui books, there is always mention of pillars and its problems. But how do we define pillar? On the left of attached photo is how my office building looks externally. I have marked an arrow pointing at something which looks like a pillar. The right photo shows what is behind the circled portion of the left photo. This is essentially a corridor and my office main door is facing the said wall (the red arrow points to my main door). Hence is it harmful or harmless that my office main door is facing this piece of wall? Especially if it seems to darken my stretch of corridor? Please advise, thank you. Regards, Sean

Dear Sean, Sean Lee wrote: Robert Lee wrote: To analyse the kua number without converting to the chinese calendar would be wrong. This means that say if you are born on 1 Jan 1966, your lunar is actually 10 day 12 month 1965. So your kua number must be based on 1965 and not 1966. Thanks for your kind advice. Regarding the Kua number, it seems similar to the Western numerology. E.g. 1966 = 1+9+6+6. Shouldn't we be calculating based on some Chinese year figure? Didn't I say that you must use the Lunar year in my above quote? This means you should be using 1965(the lunarbirth year)if based on my example and not the western year 1966 (rather than the western birth year…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: 1. My house does not have a southwest corner. Anonymous wrote: How do i minimise the affliction? 1. For the exterior, you can create some landscaping ie stone borders to create an extension. So that when you view the house from the top it covers the missing corner. 2. If not, the alternative is to put a concave bagua that is usually used for sucking and trapping wealth for such missing corners. If possible, option 1 is better, if really no choice then the option 2 will be the only other solution to correct such a missing corners. On the interior, you can extend the missing corners by creating a mirror wall to falsely extend the missin…

Edited by Robert: Join some duplicate post/additional post together. Dear Master Lee, Qn: I have recently seen a geomancy master and he told me that I have the '5-ghost star' in my life. What is this and how will it benefit/non-benefit me? And if it doesn't benefit me, what can I do to deter it or make it less 'effective'? Dear Mr. Lee, I wanted to thank you for answering some of my other questions. You've been a great help. My other dilema is the bathroom located in the center of my house on the first floor. I have read on many websites that I should put a full length mirror on the outside bathroom door, which I plan to do. But I'm a bit confused with the colors. Many websites say neverput anything red in bathrooms because it's too yang. But then I found others say if the bathroom is in the center of the house, I should paint the walls red, orplace red rugs around the toilet, andplace stones, crystals, and green bamboo plants. Right now my bathroom is just plain black and white. I have w…

Hi Cecil, I just received a land boundary/lot diagram of my new house. The land is wider in the back and makes an arrow pointed shape. I remeber reading in your resouce forum that this particular shape is inauspicious. I am attaching a picture for your reference.Theback of the houseslopes higher than the front as the housesitstowards a base of a hill, with slight elevation higher in the back. There was tremendous landscape work done to the backyard already. Any advice isgreatly appreciated. You can use my picture as an educational reference. Thanks again.

hello, i have yet another question. currently at work, i am sitting in my spook/irritation direction. i have a wall in front of me and a window beside me. the view out the window is other taller buildings corners, sides etc... (does the corner count as poison arrows?). i share a cubicle so there is no wall behind me but a corner of a verticle supporting column points twds me. the person whom i share the cubicle with is a 'small person' whom causes lots of disturbances around the office. recently, i have been given a choice to move to a single (non-sharing) cubicle. this cubicle is more in my prosperityline but also very, very close to my disaster line. i will be su…

Dear Feng Shui Master, Recently I have purchased an L-shaped apartment before I became interested in Feng Shui. I have read that L-shaped apts have bad feng shui due to missing sectors. I wld like to detail the floor plan as follows: The 3 bedrooms, dining and living room forms the vertical part of the L. The kitchen, yard and store forms the horizontal part of the L. Based on the apatment building facing of S, which gives it a Kan Gua(sitting N), the main door of the apt faces E and is in the Tian Yi sector. Part of the kitchen, which is to the right of the door entrance but seperated by a wall, also resides in the Tian Yi sector. The rest of the kitchen, yard and store…

Hi Adviser, From one of the free 8 house reports generated from your website, it is stated that Northwill beideal for storeroom or toilets as it's my spook direction. I'm born in rat year. But I read a book that for year 2006, those born in the year of Rat should not have a toilet occupying their north direction, or else career luck is adversely affected. The book states that by placingcrystals or growing plants inside such a toilet will reduce the bad effect. I happened to have a toilet occupying the north of my house. I'm Basically a sagittarian rat. Would like to hear your advice. Thank You. Gummy

Hi! I have a little problem, when we moved to this apartment with 2 bedrooms, we use the small one for my husband's studio (he is a musician), and since my daughter was a baby we use the master for the 3 of us. When she grow up, we decided to let her have the master and we went to the living room on a futon. The master is located on the finance area, and since we are having trouble with our finances, I decided to put some feng shui to workand I'd like to change rooms, give the small room to my daughter and use the master as a studio plus our bedroom with the same futon. I think this would be better because we'll have more privacy, and we would be on the power zone. Am I …
