Generally, there is really no issue on this. You can place it anywhere in the living room area and it will not really affect the feng shui simply because this is just a temporarily decoration for that season only. Like I always mentioned, any form of celebration is always good to create better bonding in th…

Dear Angela, Angela Le wrote: I have a house, but unfortunately a new house is being built across from mine. I thought about putting a small concrete fence about knee or waist high in front of my yard. However, I can only do it partially because my car garage is in the front. Therefore, what can I do? Should I use a bau qua and if so, how? What about plants and where? I know I can notput a tree in front of the yard because it will block my main door, but should I put one anyway, but just away from the main door? Of course, if you can put a fence to help block the corner, that would be best. If not do what you can with the fence, and probably add a bagua mirror to deflect…

Dear Kian Yuk, kian yuk wrote: we live in a house facing northeast(kun house), but all of us having the same Gua 9 opposing with our house. we do not know what to do or how to recognise auspicious and inauspicous directions of the house. Unfortunately, for a unsuitable house there is very little you can do to correct the suitability unless you can change your main door or facing direction. Usually, if the house falls under death or disaster for both person or at least for the breadwinner, the long term solution is to move out to a more suitable house, otherwise it is very difficult for you to enjoy the full amount of luck from the house. I know that moving out is the ha…

Dear Aileen, aileen tan wrote: After using the Free House number report provided at your website, i was rather affected by the results. I was "told" that the house number of the new flat that I had bought is unlucky. Quote: My house number is 08-222 81 Interpretation [5] & [3] - Conflict of Star 5 with Star 3. Lost of Wealth, injuries which could lead to death. Is this report 100% accurate? Does the house number really affect the feng shui of the house and the life of its owner? Can seeing a geomancer help to ward off any bad luck pertaining from the number? Husband and I are really worried. The apartment number report is to help you determine whether a hou…

Dear Hock Chuan, ong hock chuan wrote: Hi, i am staying on the 14th floor in an apartment..just would like to know how to take and from where should i take the compass direction ? Is it from the main entrance to the apartment or the main door to my unit or from my balcony ? As you are staying on the 14th floor, this falls under apartment (8th level and up). Thus, your facing direction is taken from your living room/balcony facing. So stand inside your home at your balcony or living room and take a reading looking outwards. That willl be your facing direction of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear KL lim, KL Lim wrote: Could anyone tell me howto correct/counter a bad sleeping positionif movingthe bedis not possible? In feng shui, you should correct whatever you can until they are not possible to be corrected. In your case, since it is no longer correctable, you can only attempt to enhance other areas such as the colour scheme of the room such that it favours yourself if your occupy the room alone. (ie. weak wood person, can paint the room blue=water to make yourself stronger). Of if you share a room with another person, then choose the element or colour of the decor that will fit both person. (ie. weak fire weak wood person, can paint the room in the common …

Dear Shawn, Shawn lim wrote: The lucky/unfavourable colours are mentioned in mostly primary colours - red, yellow, blue etc. Yes, this is because these colours are the key colours that make up the other secondary colours. Shawn lim wrote: Orange, pink (fire/earth), purple/plums, copper (reddish) and grey.I am a bit confused about the colourbrown. Some say it is earth colour while others say its wood. which is it? Frankly, for secondary colour, it is harder to define due to the fact that if the colour is lighter/darker the element can be different. Orange for example, if light orange more ie more towards like gold colour, it is made up of more Yellow (earth) than Red…

Dear Rober Lee Thanks for thequick respond. I have a question and I hope I'm not asking too personal question. If I'm, I'm so sorry. Apart of knowledge and to widen myself. I strongly would like to know to be a part-time feng shuiconsultation is much better than afull-time consultation as by hearing from some feng shui consultation/master say to do as part-time consultation one luck and health/wealth will not be affected. Is it true as I haven't come cross to it. Thank you as always. with warmest regards Sophia Chia

Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: As toilet is not an ideal location next to the main entrance. If the kitchen location is next to the main entrance but there isn't toilet attached to it.. Is it okay. Generally, the reason why toilet next to the main door is the more major concern are two factors:- 1. The toilet bowl is where largest amount of waste and water leaks out of the house. 2. The toilet is also dirty and tends to have bad smell. So logically, if it is near your main door, even when guest enter into the house they will have to pass by the toilet, which isn't really that nice smell nor good. So imagine Qi enter into the house, the first thing is it is dirtied by…

I won't call 11th student being that bad as compared to last in the class or entire school. However, in terms of feng shui the few things you can do to improve his study are basically:- 1. Try to ensure that he is sitting facing his best direction (ie. Excellent or Prosperity direction). You can make use of this Eight House direction report:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm 2. Also, you must take note of where is the direction of the Sun whi…

Dear Ng Chiew Kiat, I believe you are trying to ask whether you can just enter the date of birth of the club in the ba zi report, am I right? Well, not really. The ba zi is for pesonal luck, you cannot use it in the same way for the establishment of a business or club. Though, it was a really good way of looking at it. But it will not work that way. You can only assess the feng shui but not the luck of the business/club/establishment. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Generally, it is not a good idea to have a mirror just at the stairs, simply because it can be a shock for people to see themselves when theyreach the top. Especially for those who are not aware that it is there. Furthermore, mirror if placed in bad sector, can sometimes bounce/create twice the bad luck. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could not find any discussion on traveling in different directions and how that effects us. Specifically traveling to country or a city which is in direction of ones death direction. Generally, most people do use this travelling information in this way. I mean to get from one place to another by car or plan, there can only be a certain direction you can travel. So if you follow it strictly like South is Death, that means you completely avoid South. But what if South is the only way to get to your destination? So this is not practical and that is why you do not see anyone following this strictly by the book. Furthermore, for the Eight House di…
