Edited by Robert: There is no promise as to whether Cecil will have time to review the condo that you have listed as he is extremely busy. Hi Cecil, I am a new member here and find this site extremely interesting. It provides a comfort zone to analyse when one faces related feng sui issues. Had read your review and some of your feedback about condominium at or around Flora Road - specifically Dahlia Park and so. Wonder if you have any review about the blocks at Estella Gardens TOP 1999, which is located at Flora Road as well. Would appreciate your view. What do you think about this Project in general? and anyparticular view on the blo…

Dear Olivia, Olivia Kim wrote: Would you be kind enough to help me with the following? Myfavorable directions are East, SE and N. I need a garageand the only garage available right now is a garage facing East as I am drivingINTO the garage. By the way, does this mean it is WEST facing? Also, the Garage number is 4. In the U.S. it sounds similar to the chinese pronounciation, is this correct? Generally, a garage isn't really part of a house. So it can be built separately or added on, but the entry or direction of the garage will not replace the facing of the house. So it really does not matter if it is not possible to enter into the garage from a good direction. Back to …

Dear Carlo, Anonymous wrote: Hi, I'm confused about the best sleeping position. In the free reports, thebest sleep position looksdifferent from the best work or study position. So, for sleeping I have to have the best direction for me behind my head when laying down on my bed? It looks like you have to face in the opposite direction. Is this correct? For the other positions (work, study), itlooks like you have to have your head facing towards your best direction. Is this also correct? Yes, sleeping position is where say East is Longevity, your head should point to East and your feed point opposite in the West. This is because you are sleeping so your head should be pointe…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: a weak yang water person with 4 fire in his four pillars and married to a strong yang wood and having 4 wood element in the chart and havetwo daughter have 3earth element and 1 daughter have 4 earth element in their chart. As wood produce fire, will it be too strong the fire is especially 2006 is year of fire. How to overcome this. Frankly, it is not really correct for you to relate the number of earth element present in someone else chart, to add that to your own chart. It does not work that way. The number of elements in individual person chart, is used to asses whether he is weak or strong person of a particular element. ie if he is a wood…

I read in the books that we should avoid placing the yin and yang objects in opposite directions or next to each other. Meaning that the refrigerators and water dispensers (yin objects) should not be opposite or next to the stove. Actually, according to what I read, placing them in opposite directions is even more harmful than side-by-side. I have a microwave oven (used rarely, 2-3 times a day) and an electric 5-litre water pot. They are placed next to each other due to space constraint. Does this represent a clash between yang and yin? I am not too sure that the electric water pot is yin or yang. It is used very frequently, because we use a lot of hot water at home. Wa…

Dear Sophie, sophie corcoran wrote: cecil u have mentioned a 10 day cycle for the different birth elements. Yes, every day has different Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch combination (ie 60 different unique combinations from the 10 Heavenly Stem and 12 Earthly Branch). Dear Vibecke, Vibecke Stensland wrote: We have problems with one of our neighbours. We are located atthe end of a dead end road. Our neighbours are make our life very difficult. We have a big fight with them. What can we do to neutralize this problem. Feng Shui is by no means a miracle cure to all problems, especially not in people to people relationship which is related to Human Luck. In terms of feng shui, areas relating to quarrels/conflict are star 3 in the flying star chart especially near your frontage or main door. If there are any, you can try to reduce it by having Metal to control the sector, or Fire to exhaust the star if there are no Star 2/5. You can use th…

Dear Olivia, Anonymous wrote: What are your thoughts on monthly stars vs yearly stars, etc? The reason I ask is because another website states that for example, in the month of November, if you have a front door or office in the West sector,we should place a dragon or a metal wealth pot to enhance wealth/fame/recognition. Whereas, the #8 star is actuallyin the South sector this year. Can you explain this train of thought? I would questionhere onthe practical application of applying feng shuion a Monthly or even worstDaily application. Do most people really have the time and effort towant to apply monthly or even daily flying star changes? Most people will at most practic…

Would it be the over abundance or lack of a particular element in the total ba zi? - is actually for yin, while + is for yang. It has never been associated with weak or strong. Ba zi is a complex shool, that is why we have theonline analysis which determine for you whether you are weak or strong without worrying about the technicalities. All I can tell you is that …

Displaying it a the staircase, I feel is better than facing the living room. Just make sure that it is not facing directly the steps. It can be at the "outlines" i.e. side of the staircase. For mansionettes, it can be at the passageway usually between the staircase and the kitchen ....

Hi Cecil My altar of worship( Buddha, Kuang Ti and nine sky goddess) is facing a sliding glass door. This glass door is situated diagonally from my main door. I can see reflections of the deities in the glass door. Distance of the altar to this glass door is about 16 feet. Is this bad fengshui? I am thinking of removing this glass door so that upon entering through the main door, I can see my main hall. Now it is partially blocked by this glass door. Advise please. Thank you Richard Lim

Dear Kit Fong, Kit Fong wrote: Thank for your prompt response. Is the ba zhi and the kua no. the same? They are different concept. Kua (eight house) only assess your YEAR of birth (ie 1950). So it's accuracy is limited. However, though it is simple it's suitability analysis is still very useful. The Kua element will not be as accurate as the Ba Zi element. Ba Zi assess upto day and even time of birth (ie. 19Aug 1950 at7am). So this is more accurate for luck andelement determination. Hope that helps. Kua element or Eight House analysis is based only on YEAR of birth. While ba zi element or Ba Zi (4 Pillars/Pillars of Destiny), calculates from the day, month, year and time of birth (if available). Eight House is typtically useful for it's suitability check, as even though it is simple it has proven time and again to provide a good suitability check assessment. However, we normally do not use the Kua element as the true birth element as only the YEAR of birth was considered. True birth element is usually assse…

Here is my house details: 1) Front entrance door is facing SE 152 degree. 2) Wet Kitchen is facing North. 3) Stove isin Wet Kitchen facing NE 82 degree. A Sink is on the right facing SE. While a fridge is facing SW roughly 271 degree. Just got an advice from a fengshui master. He said I need to move my stove so that it faces towards the SE direction or else it is very very bad to our family (with accidents and health problems). But, the SE direction is facing my dry kitchen and there's a windows between my dry and wet kitchen. So, the other side of the stove is my sinks and there is window behind the stove.
