  1. Started by tworocks,

At my house, the four bad directions for me are N, S, E, and SE. I am a weak wood, and these directions are for my career, wealth, good health - all of which I am having problems with. If I follow the directions in the free information and enhance these areas in my house, will this help? I am trying hard to make things better. Also, the previous owners died in a tragic car accident and I am only renting. Though the main entrance faces NE, which is normally good for me, the front door is stuck and the landlord won't fix it, so I have to use a door in the carport. I feel I need to move perhaps, and I want to buy a place, but have been unable to save money. If I enhance as s…

And also, there are already, tons and tons of materials on this subject matter. 4. Use the search feature on the top left frame of this forum for simple search lines like: " House facing" or "facing direction". 5. Never post a paragraph and ask me, right there and then to propose a "correct" facing direction. Here, I strongly recommend; toss a coin.

Dear Mr Lee I have recently started with the FS subject. I know now that my house does not really support me. Relationships/friendships going..going and gone! Never to return. Health: battling with colon and diet habits. Money:..a bit better but stagnant. In fact the company will be going through a retrenchment exercise in the very near future (next 4 weeks). I have been sleeping with my head facing west for the last 4 years.( Sometimes NW as I turn around in my sleep) The toilet, although not opening in the entrance hall, is next to front door. On the way to front door is bathroom drain. Since reading about Feng Shui, I have bought a cement table to cover it and want to …

Dear Cecil, Thanks so much for your replies. It makes me feel much better, specially because I felt a bit silly about the whole thing. As regards your queries, I am posting a few details here: * A little about this house: It consists of two flats side by side on the first floor. Each has a hall, kitchen and a bedroom. The flat numbers are 101 and 102. The main entrance is the door of flat 102, which is NE facing. A numerologist we know advised us to keep the NE direction because as per Hindu astrology, it is auspicious. He also said the number ?102?which adds up to a 3 is not good and so asked us to write it as ?102B? for a more favourable number 5. (Actually the original…

Thank you for your prompt reply. To further clarify on the same subject, there are eight kua according to the Eight House Theory. I agree that thefacing directionwhere the Qi enter the house is of utmost important. But before that we have to determine the kua of the house before we can apply the Eight House Theory. So, a house that sits on East (using the loupan to determine), it is the "chen" kua and thus we can apply, based on the Eight House Theory, the favourable and unfavourable directions based on the "chen" kua. Do you agree?

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My personal element is Strong Metal and suppose stay in a house facing east and house element is Wood. On contrary, inthe destructive cycle, isnt it strange that there is a clash with my personal element Metal against house element Wood ? This is confusing and please explain further. Metal destroy Wood. Under the ba zi the element your self can destroy is your wealth. This is actually a productive cycle. Thus, if you have a house facing East, this is a Wood house. Thus, this is considered under your bazi as your wealth element. The destructive cycle you are talking about should be Fire destroy Metal. If you face South for example, this would b…

Dear Yew-Meng, Thank you for the sketch of your layout plan. I have marked the centrepoint of the house. The attached illustration will also show that you should take the compass reading from point A to B. Please refer to the above. You should be able to find the direction of the main entrance based on the attachment. From your sketch, it looks like your main door is at the North. It is a serious flaw if the house has its main door facing a hill. Ideally, the main door should be a the frontage or many of the windows for the frontage are located here. Sometimes, the main door can be at either side i.e. East or West. If one purposely built the frontage facing …

These are some of the considerations:- 1. There are two sides to assessing the Feng Shui of a home:- 1.1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.1.1 Here, location, location and location plays a very important consideration. 1.1.2 It is often said that there are more millionaires staying on the ground level or floor. Firstly, some even have control over the way, their home is constructed etc... 1.1.3 Sunlight. 1.1.3.1 Some people are shocked to learn that simple things like sunlight or no sunlight or filtered sunlight or direct sunlight has a bearing on Feng Shui. 2. This is why in some newspaper advertising; without considering how well the home suits a person say based on…

Hi, Currently there are four methods of dealing with a T junction (not in any order of importance):- 1. Change the angle of the door to face one of your best directions i.e. tilt the door to one that faces one of your good directions. This is said to `kill' two birds with one stone. 2. If your main entrance door is elevated, you can have semi-circular steps leading to the house. This is one technique of `radiating' sha ch' away from your main entrance. 3. Alternatively, if your main entrance is level to your external of the house, you could consider a specially made semi-circular carpet e.g. of half of a sun with it's fiery sunlight (spikes) radiating away from the mai…

There are a few solutions for solving a missing corner. 1) For landed property: a) You can extend the roof to cover the missing area so that it no longer becomes a smissing corner from the top view. - Best solution. b) Create landscaping or rock landscape to project the outline of the missing corner to cover it. Or at least have a concere flooring to cover the missing area. 2) For Apartment - Mirrors placed on the wall of themissing corner can help toextend themissing corner. That is about the two common solution for to correct this …

Dear Deborah, It would be nice if you can draw a sketch or use a paint program to draw and save as a .jpg or .bmp or .gif:- 1. A sketch of the house (if possible, proportionate such as where is the main entrance and the T junction) and roughly can see the distance of the ancient well and how far it is to the house i.e to the right, left or centre?. Roughly how deep it is. I hope you can understand that without a clear look at the outline such as the impact on the main door, any gradient. (I hope I am not asking too much but if it is not a sketch, it can be alternatively pictures). Apologise, if I asked too much. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil, Noted of your reply as below:-From: Cecil Lee Dear Vun Fook, 1. Where possible, avoid `opening' the white-tiger's mouth with a fountain at west. 2. Futher more, since star #3 is considered as a bad wood element (disputes...); under the five elements concept, you are inadvertently adding more water to wood and further fueling bad wood. Yes, this can result in financial woes. This is why, often, water positions does not automatically mean = wealth. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  20. Dear Spring, In general, Good Luck symbols can be hung almost anywhere. For the bedroom especially for a newly married couples, the Chinese character of the double happiness symbol is hung in the room. Otherwise, if the symbol is `Fu' or Luck, some Chinese hang the word upside down e.g. on their main door (internal side). It can also be hung in the study room i.e. one can safely hang it just anywhere other than the toilet. As for broken foot of the statute, in my opinion, you can keep it e.g. in the closet especially if there is some sentimental value or quite costly (when purchased). Warmest Regards Cecil

Dear Mr.Cecil Lee We currently live in a period 7 house, and the main door facing E2. My husband was born on sept.17, 1960. Now we are in period 8, would this house become very unlucky to us? I bought the report on home flying star analysis from you and I become confused. In your report, it says that the E2 (period 7) facing house is suitable to us regardless of the bad numbers which the main door has. Now my question is which is more important, the eight house theory or the flying star theory? I am looking forward to hearing from you.

  24. Started by myfs_105442,

Dear Danny, 1. The key to applying Flying star Feng Shui is to see where is the "mouth" of the house. Or the location where there is e.g. most light coming into the home. Or if one has a habit of often opening the main door, sometimes, this can be the facing direction, also. For example, SW1 under period 8 enjoys very good sum-of-ten Flying star feng shui etc... As usual, you must find out or learn more about this theory to benefit when you do up your home. Or do consult a fs practitioner on this matter. Warmest Regards, Cecil
