Dear Anon, The most important thing is for the 6 rods to be all Metal, especially brass. The rest of the support is fine to be non Metal. The point is because 6 rods is Strong Metal. So it is most effective when the rod are metal. If you use like 5 rods it is Earth element. And if you use like 3/4 rods is Wood element etc. Hope that helps. Dear Amy, Amy Belisle wrote: [6] & [7] - Disaster. When Star 6 and Star 7 cross path, Co-operation is not good. Possible breaking of partnership, Own department rebellion, lawsuits, Male and Female do not get along. Female more aggressive. Period 7 will mean injuries to hands and legs. What would be a fix for this? Yikes, everything is working against. Thank you for any advice. I presume, the 6 & 7 number is the house number luck. If so, it just means the house isn't that favourable to you. It will not have as great an impact unless it is refering to the flying stars of the sector. But this does show that this house is not as favourable to you. However…

Dear C C, C C wrote: In general:Is both 6th May 2006 and 12th May 2006(Vesak Day) a good day to choose to deliver my BB? If it is for a baby boy, then either 6th or 12th May will be born with a fairly good ba zi luck for the baby. Except for 12th May 9-11pm. If it is for a baby girl, then either 6th or 12th May will be born with an average baby luck for the baby. As mentioned you wanted to know in general, different hours will have different luck and some differences. So I will not be sure unless a more indepth analysis is done. Hi Cindy, Firstly, the yearly or annual stars only effect the sector for the current year. Once the year is over the influence will be gone or changed. So I won't be too concern over this star 9 given that it isn't a potentially star to worry about (unlike star 2 or 5). The water feature is good because it will create a five element flow:- 7 - Metal, Fountain - Water, Star 3 Wood. Which makes Metal - Metal - Hello. My eating area has 7 MS, 7 WS & 3 Period Star with the 9 annual. I have a tabletop fountain here but upon analyzing this area, I assumed the 9 fire burns the 3 wood, at the same time the 7 metal also neutralizes the 3 wood. Is the water …

Dear Anon, 7-9-2 Is not very good combination simply because the Strong Earth (2) is not being controlled very well by weak Metal (7) and instead the influence is enhanced by the weak Fire (9). Thus creating a strong Star 2 (Sickness) In addition 7-2 come together signifying Disaster. The solution is to control the Star 2. Which is by using metal. The best metal cure so far is to use 6 metal coins tied with a Red String. Hang in at the door in that sector. This should help to control the strong Earth (2). However, you should consider whether they are any other problems before you decide to activate this cure. This is usually the recommended solution, if that is the only p…

But then, we found another table. What is your conclusion here. As always many thanks With warmest regards Sophia Chia

Dear Sarita, 1. Currently, in my opinion, the most popular concept that is floating in the internet and around the world is the Eight Aspirations concept. 2. This concept, is second (in popularity) to the Eight House Theory. 3. The difference between the Eight House Theory and the Eight Aspirations is that at least, the Eight House Theory is personalised to an individual. Contrast this to the Eight Aspirations or also commonly known as Life Associations/Aspirations. 4. I feel that the major flaw with the Eight Aspiration concept is that it is not personalised to anyone. If we look carefully at all the major theories; they are infact `customised to':- 4.1. Either the pers…

Dear Master Lee, Could you explain what is 8 aspirations chart, 8 house report and yearly flying star for and the differences of them. I had generated the these reports under the breadwinner of the family and would like to apply it to my house arrangement; but is confused by it; I don't know which report to follows. ei 1:under 8 house report SE is spook but 8 aspirations chart is wealth & prosperity. ei 2:under 8 house report NE is Prosperity, 8 aspirations chart is Education and the yearly report is Misfortune and Sickness. Thank you for your guidance. Annoy.

Dear Sophia, 1. 6 (SIX) represents "big metal" and this is why, it is commonly used as a "cure" to neutralise e.g. #2 (sickness) or #3 or #4 (bad wood - career, lawsuits, scandals, education, romance type of issues) 2. Since we are now under the influence of Period 8, there is now a surge of anything to do with the number 8. Previously, the phonetic sound of "8" is particulary very auspicious especially for the Cantonese dialect group. 3. But now, many would like to hear that 8 is a good or SUPPOSE to be a very auspicious number under Period 8. 4. However, if we stick purely to the academic line of the Flying Star School of Feng Shui:- 6 = metal element 8 = earth el…

Dear Joshua, Joshua Chia wrote: For me, the eight house report has indicated that NW would be a good location. How do I locate the best facing postiton of my master bed room? Does it mean that my master bedroom door has to face NW. Thanks In general, there should be at least 4 good sectors that are good for you. So get a layout plan of the house, or stand at the center of the house. Determine where is the North direction, and divide the house into the other sectors. So if your bedroom is located at the South, and South if your Heath sector, it is a suitable bedroom for you. If it is South is Spook sector, then it is not so suitable for you. As long as the bedroom is l…

Dear Janice, 1. The Eight Aspiration is a static template which is based on the bagua and therefore least personalised to any one person. 2. The Eight House at least personalises to the year of birth of a person. Thus, there is a certain level of personalisation. 3. You should always follow priority, ie Eight House before Eight Aspiration. So only after you confirm it matches the Eight House, then you can fine tune further with the Eight Aspiration. 4. Just like all theories, you have to know what each is for and apply accordingly. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Spencer, Since the eight house is based on true compass directions; more importantly: 1. Find the centrepoint of the home. 2. Use a compass to first locate the North-South alignment of the home. Please use the information at: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm Here, often the solution is to use a transparency; for example those that can be photocopied using a copier (where the transparency - is heat resistant - meant to go into a photocopier). Just superimpose the layout plan to the layout plan. The direction of the interior unit "follows" where the compass markings goes. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil: Thank you for your response. I know that I'm not the only one in this scenario. I wasn't sure what the solution was because I heard so many different cures that just didn't make any sense. And of course just because I don't have the same good directions as my fiancee does NOT mean that I'm going to leave him for somebody else that does!! Your advice was greatly appreciated. Have a great day!

Hi, Please read below:- You are welcome:) Actually for Eight House, you don't have to worry so much about proper superimposing. Just use the eight directions and take the center of each level. For Eight House, I find that the Pie method rather than the nine square method is easier to use. The Pie method is to have 45 degree angle for every direction starting from the center. If you use this method, you need not worry about having two sets of layout. Also it clearly tell you the direction whether good or bad. If you have a choice, try to locate in a better room, and try to face in one of the better directions, avoid the death and disaster. But of course, this …

Dear Cheui May, By taking the sector, North is water, this is one of the usage under a another theory known as Ba Zhi Feng Shui. However, there is some disadvantage with this theory. It is because, for those who are not sure about this application and simply take North is water thus assume that it is suitable to a person is not 100 percent correct. As there are many other factors to consider e.g. clashes, triple combinations, twin combinations, harm, punishment, self-punishment and the 24 mountain element. If all these are not taken into account, the Ba Zhi Feng Shui is as static as using the Eight Aspirations theory where SW is romance etc... If you really want to use …

Append by Robert: No attachment found. If the door is facing west but is in the South West corner of the house, do we count it as facing SW or do we count it as facing West? In the 8 mansions chart, if the door is always in the Sheng Chi area it seems to be in the middleis itfacing West? I (hopefully) have attached a diagram of whatI mean. I hope you can receive it.

Hi Cecil I wrote this question in another post but I felt that it would be better to ask it as a separate topic. My question is: Would it be bad to have the 8 trigrams in ones bedroom displayed on the headboard of where one sleeps? I was thinking of either drawing my own personal trigram (Chen) or drawing all 8 trigrams right on the headboard where I sleep. Thanks a bunch! Tony

Dear Sophia, 1. Traditional Feng Shui has it's roots to the Five elements concept. 2. In my past forum messages, authentic Feng Shui has to do with both the Five elements concept and numerology based on say the Flying Star Feng Shui numbers. 3. Thus, whether the question of using an 8 wooden windchime is acceptable or not -- there is frankly no right or wrong answers. It is often due to one's interpretation and understanding or belief. 4. Much of many of the component of luck is "inter-twined" between Earth luck and Human luck! 5. This is because human beings are unique. And fortunately or unfortunately, most of us either have to be "swindled" or seem to think that p…

These are some interesting links on the reversal of the earth's magnetic field. Although it may not happen sometime in the near future, at least... one day... when it happens; for Feng Shui practitioners (if earth still exists); Will have to first depend on the Shapes and Forms.. while a wide ranging debate much "worse" than the one that had happened in the 1990's where some AustralianGeomancers had the "wrong" idea that Flying star charts should be reversed just becauseof the experiment of "draining" the sink and water vortex is directly opposite that of the northern hemisphere... http://www.geomag.bgs.ac.uk/reversals.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_r…

Thank you for your reply. Regarding drawing the sectors, our unit is an elongated rectangle, so there is a difference if I draw wedges or 9 rectangles. For instance, according to the 9 rectangles all of my son's room is in the south, whereas by the wedges radiating from the center at least half of it is in the southwest. My question about the computer was, how to decide in which sector to put it and which direction it should face, if the different users have different good or bad sectors or directions? Should I make it best for the person who spends the most hours at it? Or for the person who is in charge of technical maintenance and knows the most about it? Thank you Mir…

Dear Tervino, 1. Eight Aspirations or Eight Associations or Life Associations. It is based on the interpretation of each of the STATIC Kua trigrams into e.g. SW - Romance sector etc... This is similar to the `Black Hat Sect's ' use of STATIC templates. 2. I mentioned in earlier forum messages that the Eight Associations or Life Associations are too generalised to be of any effect in Feng Shui. For example, in earlier messages, I mentioned that if three of us are trying to `woo' a girl. And if we understand the Eight Association concept clearly, we need to ENHANCE our SW sector. Given some imagination, each of us would try to enhance this sector. Perhaps, the three of us h…

Pleas Please see my comments below:- Yes, since you are a WEST House person, South West sector is indeed your Health sector. When you use the 8house theory you should follow these steps:- 1. Determine your " 8house ". In your case, you had found out that it is the WEST house. 2. Prepare a template of it. For example, if you have tracing paper or better still, a transparency, mark out all the 8 sectors pertaining to the WEST house. 3. Next, obtain a copy of the layout plan (preferably on an A4 sized paper), find out the North to south direction of your house and mark it on the layout plan. 5. Determine the centre of the house. 4. Lastly super-impose your WEST house…
