Dear David, David Chua wrote: I was once told by a roadside fortune teller that if one want to strike 4D/ToTo meaning better wealth luck, one should not eat beef....is this true ? I just can't see the logic of this....so wanted to seek your opinion. Thanks Frankly, whether or not a person can win lottery determines on luck. Individually, each person have certain amount of luck. Whether or not one will win depends on who's luck is best among the people who buy the 4D/Toto. Which is why it is so hard for most people to even touch a small prize. And why most of the time gambling isn't a guaranteed way to make money. In fact, you are more likely to lose the money you gamble …

Dear Anon, Frankly, there are a few ways to determine a good date:- 1. For most people using the Tong Shu helps them to generally find a good date. 2. Others based on the full moon or half moon. Normally, 1st or 15th of the month are generally considered auspicious dates. 3. More personalised analysis by considering the individual ba zi in addition to key tong shu event. Our website uses this method so it is like having a personalised forecast of best dates just for the two person being analysed. Either way, as long as you it is done properly, tends to be able to find a good date for you. I won't worry too much if you cannot change the date as you can also attempt t…

Dear Sir If we buy a house facing our good direction but the land where the house is to be built is lower than the main road, will this affect the house's fengshui? However, there's a small hill on the other side of the road, ie the back of the house (though not directly behind coz there's a main road separating the houses and the small hill. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Dear Master Lee, I have placed an eight hollow metalrod windchime in my master bedroom window for some months. I realise the window is at the northwest side of our bedroom, though facing west. Our bedroom is in the northwest side of the house. From our bazi, I found that my husband, daughter & I (sharing)are in east group.Initially, we have it for the beautiful sound. I wonder will it affect us? Thanks. Yours, Anon

This is because it takes two different individual to make it happen. When it will happen will really depend on the both of you (if there are not health issues regarding having baby), then the rest depends on both. You can probably use like Ba Zi to determine which date is better so that you have more luck into having a baby. But otherwise, no way to really forecast from feng shui perspective. This depends more on your own human luck and eff…

  14. Hello Currently iam planningtohave a second baby. Myself& my boyare horse. My husband is a Goat. Actually i had plan to have my second attempt this year. But iheard that this Rooster year is not good for having baby. So i read up on the Dog characteristic and come to know that the Dog is an eternal worrier. One who worries over everything. Theni check on the Pig. But the poor pig is always being"eaten" by others; especially those bornnear year end. Now,the question is which is a better year to have baby ~Dog year orPig year. And also the better months for delivery if possible. With my age, i can't wait much further. Thanks.

On contrary, inthe destructive cycle, isnt it strange that there is a clash with my personal element Metal against house element Wood ? This is confusing and please explain further. Metal destroy Wood. Under the ba zi the element your self can destroy is your wealth. This is actually a productive cycle. Thus, if you have a house facing East, this is a Wood house. Thus, this is considered under your bazi as your wealth element. The destructive cycle you are talking about should be Fire destroy Metal. If you face South for example, this would b…

Dear Cecilia, We recently received a gift from a China friend. Its a sword made of ancient coins of Chencang. We like to know where is the best place to put it? If we put it in the study room (any direction) is it OK? Is it true that if you put this sort of ancient feng shui item in the wrong position will bring in more harm than good? I would appreciate your advise. Thank you. Regards, Iris

Generally, where possible most people will want to avoid having a bedroom door faces a bedroom door. Unless you have the ability to alter the door position, then the only other practical advise is just to keep the toilet door closed when not in used. 20. Dear Anon, For "fire-at-heaven's" gate, another remedy is the use of "earth" at the fire-gate-area. For example, earthenware or do add some pottery pieces at the location. Here, under the Five Elements concept: "Earth" element helps to draw or reduce the "Fire" element. Warmest Regards, Cecil Anonymous wrote: Hello -- Just bought my second house with, what I now beleive is fire at heaven's gate. Hi, I am new to Fung Shui, sorry if I ask silly or old questions. I live in a one bedroom apartment with an open kitchen. 1. As soon as I open my main door, I see my kitchen and stove. 2. I initially thought mymain door was facing south but in fact it faces North East (i.e. when exiting - I will face north east - correct?). 3. Myapartment is small so I can't put a divider in between the main door and kitchen. So what should I do to prevent the chi going out? Goldfish? Wind chimes? Bamboo sticks? I have been becoming ill lately and not getting along with people. I was born in the year of 1979 year of the Ram. Please help! Thanks in advance! MM
