Dear Cecil.. I understand that there are many similar questions and probably that is why you ignored this request. Let me try and rephrase my question so that you know that I am not getting answers from other Qs etc. 1. As mentioned the T Jn faces the balcony and not the main door. Is it still a threat? 2. What all solutions exist for solving.. like earthern lamps; bagua mirror; planters/plants... will lighting two cormers of balcony with Electric lamps also solve? 3. The house in fact feels like it is in a chairman;s seat since the road ahead (The Road hitting my house) is lined by houses on both side NO POSITIVE EFFECT?? 4. Since there are houses on both sides th…

My wife and I are thinking of buying a house at the center of a cul-de-sac. There are three houses on this cul-de-sac, and the one we're considering is at the center. The front of the house though is not perfectly perpendicular to the street, and is tilted somewhat towards the right (if you're facing the house). Th house faces Northwest, and it has a fireplace on it Southeast wall. Does this have the same effect as having a house on a t-junction? Is this house badly situated? Your guidance on this will greatly be appreciated. -Patrick

Hi, I am trying to decide if a house on a dead end street is auspicious. I have read that it is not good to live in such a street but don’t quite know all the fengshui rules regarding this. So I would like to gain clarity on this. Attached is a photo of the roads leading to the property. Thank you for your help.

Dear Master Lee, Could you advise if a house situated on a gentle 'V' shape road is fine? Some say it is best to be on a flat road. Is it fine for a house (not the last unit) to be situated along a dead end?

Dear Elena, In terms of Feng Shui, the main concern is also on "landslides". Homes that are too high on a hill may pose a concern especially either through erosion of surrounding slopes or heavy (or exceptionally heavy rainfall). Because of this, this is why homes that are on top of slopes should be looked at carefully when one is considering purchasing such a home. Often, of course, a site survey has to be done but generally, many rich people have purchased homes at the middle of the hill area i.e. they are not so steep but at a good level where even if there are some soil erosion, there is no fear of a landslide. Thus, in general, it is still ok to have a hope where…

  7. Dear Master, I've been following Feng Shui and can you give me your opinion on this. Generally, house on cul de sac street is bad. Does it apply to every house on the cul de sac? In the picture attached, does it affect houses (houses labeled A, B, F & G) at the mouth of the cul de sac at all?

I understand that the house directly at the end ofa typical circularcul-de-sac, oposite the neck, receives bad qi from on coming traffic. I am getting mixed impressions from my research regarding the other houses on the cds. Could you post your view on whether the other houses, where they are not directly opposite the neck/oncoming traffic? Do they harvest qi or get bad qi? Many thanks

Dear Patrick, It is good if you can provide a sketch - to take a look. This is because, if you managed to go thru past resources on this forum, you can see examples of homes at culdesac that are good or bad depending on where the home(s) are situated. Warmest Regards, Cecil The Kindly Many thanks! -Pat

Dear Hoa, Yes, what I mentioned is that "depends on where the house sits." Thus, if one look at the above statement carefully, it refers to "where the house sits" rather than "where the plot of land is". Perhaps, if you can incorporate an outline of the house, it's drive-way path up to the home and the house profile with the main door. And also, what type of fence/ concrete or any additional high low walls. Therefore, it is often again "where the house sits" rather than the actual plot of land on the cul-de-sac - takes on a major consideration. Thus, unfortunately, what you had provided has too little inform to make any further comments. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Elena, Frankly, in the past, many FS practitioners are concerned about corner units - especially units that are "hidden" from view. This was because, perhaps, if the home is in a undeveloped area, it was felt that such a home may be affected by "theft" or thieves climbing into the home. Therefore, the above is based on such a commonsense approach to Feng Shui. But nowadays, with modern survillenance anddeterent, such as survillenance equipment and active or passive safe-guard, this is no longer a major issue. More importantly, under the "Water Classic", it is good to check out that water can flow or be seen to flow into the front of the home. But, behind the home,…

Dear Eva, The least confusing way to go about it is to locate the centrepoint of your house. If you need to you can scan or even fax to us at: 065-64822057 so that we can find out the centrepoint for you. From the centrepoint, you can use an ordinary compass to locate where all your room locations are. For example, if the compass North points to your bedroom, then your bedroom is at North. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sharon, While your explanation is thorough, it is recommended for an individual to physically inspect the location. Despite the possibility of the main entrance being at the front of the road or a side entrance, it is still safe to observe the property even if the front side faces the ocean. For instance, the front side, such as the side facing the ocean, can be perceived as the front side instead of the actual front side accessible from the road. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Daniel, Daniel Davis wrote: Currently I'm staying in a house which is belong to my wife. The house title is in her name. Is it to say, that what ever we do on the house, it should be base on my wife ??? The more important question you should be asking, is who is actually paying for the house? You see a house may be registered under your wife, but if you are paying for the house and you are staying there. You are more likely the breadwinner for the house. But if your wife is paying for the house, then it would be your wife as the breadwinner. Hope that helps to clarify. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

In my opinion, most likely your home should be a Period 7 home (or apartment).

  18. Started by myfs_62890,

    1. Please note that Feng Shui does not depend soley on this interpretation. 2. Feng Shui is about: location, location & location. And other more important factors include: which flying star direction this home is facing, how suitable the home is to the breadwinner. 3. If you are applying Feng Shui, you have to apply all these facts and cannot just based on this single information alone. 4. You are just like asking a blind man to lead another blind man?

Dear Say Pew, Yes, for charting a Flying Star analysis; one vital information is the date of birth of the house i.e. the date the house has been built or when a major renovation has been done. For example, you can visit this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/calendar.htm Period 7 is between 1984 to 2003. While Period 6 is between 1964 to 1983. Especially if the house was built say in 1989 and currently does not have any major renovations done to it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Alan, If it is a major renovation, your house would change it's birth chart. And Period 7, seems a sensible idea. Warmest Regards, Cecil

    1. You can use the Search feature on the left right frame of this forum to search for things like: "Change to Period 8" on past resources. 2. In my opinion, what you have described often does not change your house to a new Period. 3. Changing the stove alone to chnage the house period should again in my opinion to be taken with a pinch of salt. The saying goes.. if it sounds so good... it may not be far from the truth....

Hello, I have a big dilemma. We purchased a home a year ago, S2 Period 7, house was built in 1952, however, the owner told us he had replaced the roof in 1995. Using your site & various good books, I made several changes & applied various cures. Things seemed to have calmed down for the whole family except my oldest son.He is doing well in school but has now had 2 car accidents, constant sickness, and we've noticed he's been drinking (alcohol) more lately. Have I made a mistake & should instead consider our house to be a Period 5? We really don't know whether the new roof was just placed on top of the old one or if it was totally taken off. How would you sugges…
