Dear Mercury, Please do a SEARCH for fish tank. I believe, there are numerous references in this forum where I had provided advice on what to look out for -- a fish tank. You should not have a problem finding or reading in detail what are the do's and don'ts here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  2. Started by Madan Seda,

Dear Madan, When you make use of the Eight House chart, one should also consider the following: 1. Where possible find out what is the intangible force at the main entrance for the breadwinner. It will give you a feel of how suitable the house is. The most unsuitable house is one where the death/disaster intangible force flows through the main entrance door. 2. Do note that the Eight House Theory can tell you your personal best directions to sleep or sleep closer to. In this aspect, Eight House Theory cannot be used to analyse for `cures' or enhancements. 3. A very important aspect is to check the house under the Shapes and Form School. I understand that there is alot of…

Dear Eva, 1. Usually, this is quite common situation. Sometimes it can be a home, on other occasions it could be an office unit or even a shop premises. 2. For some Chinese, they would use a pair of Lions as shown in several photos under "Photo Tours of Interest". 3. While others place two pots of plants on each side of the entrance. 4. More importantly, if there are no poison arrows aimed at the main door, this situation is (although not 100 percent ideal) but is acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, What is the rationale for not having the bed on the same wall as the door? In traditional Feng Shui, this is not advisable because, if one is suppose to sleep on the same wall (plus the head against the wall), you will not be able to see who comes into the room. (There is no longer an element of surprise). Of course, we can say that the door can be closed or sleep with the legs facing the wall. But the second is not considered auspicious. Thus if it is based on Shapes and Form Feng Shui, the above is the main reason for it. You have to see if the above is a good enough reason for yourself. But this is what it generally means in Feng Shui. In my opinion, I would…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: In the Personal Element report, when you say Clothes/Personal Objects colors, what do you mean by personal objects? For example, I am strong Earth, year Fire Horse. My favorable objects and colors are metal, wood, white, gold, green brown. My unfavorable are fire, earth, red, yellow. Does that mean I should avoid these colors when buying clothes? Yes, the more your clothings is made up of your favourable colours, it means that when you wear these colours, your luck will be improved. Just like if metal/wood is your favourable element. This means white/gold/green/brown is good for you. If you wear more of these colours, you will be adding elem…

Dear Anon, Usually, from what I have encountered, this should not pose a problem. Especially if one only rents a bedroom. There is not much choice here. The only thing to remember is to conceptally "departmentalise" the bedroom i.e. keep the scultures at a corner or if really no space on a display shelf or at a corner table or even share it with the study table. We have to be practical as not all situations can be overcomed... our love of the sculpture and space constraints. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- 30 Jan 1968 to 16 Feb 1969 = Earth Monkey 17 Feb 1969 to 5 Feb 1970 = Earth Rooster Here you will find that your sister is `still' considered an Earth Monkey. In 1969 Chinese New Year falls on 17 Feb 1969 and only on or after this date is your sister considered a Rooster. In my opinion, one has to be `cautious when reading books that merely list only the Year and makes no reference to the start and end date. You can visit: www.lovesigns.net at:- http://www.geomancy.net/love/a60-80.htm The above site lists the Chinese New Year dates correctly. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Thank You Cecil for your advice. I do have a scroll to hang on the wall that is facing my main door entrance as you advised. However, it is not a scroll with flowers but with a waterfall. Is it alright? Also, about my resale flat, you were saying to find out the reason why the previous owner wanted to move out of the flat. I found out that they have migrated to Australia as the owner of the flat has been posted by his company to work in Australia so the whole family went together. Pls advise if this is OK. Dear Lynn, 1. The garage below the bedroom is not a real issue. A similar question has been mentioned in a forum message - a few days earlier. 2. Since there is a restriction in the positioning of the bed, usually:- 2.1 Ideally, if the head-bed has a storage compartment. If so, this would in effect, place the bed-head further away from the wall. 2.2 If there is no storage area, try to see if you can position the bed at least 1 foot away (leaving a gap) from the wall. Dear Anon, 1. The best is often to move out of the home during the renovation period. 2. For the Chinese, it is best to pray facing the grand duke. For example, it can be a simple apology by saying: "Apologies or sorry to disturb you, as I have to start renovations, soon. Some Chinese offer two incense sticks with 5 fruits on a plate to applease the god. As for the Five yellow or work required outside of the home place some metal between the home and the work to be carried out. Otherwise, can still do the above prayer to the spirits of the home. Hi I would like to know more about ba zhi of me and my partner. My D.O.B 30/3/1982 Time: 10pm, whilst my partner's is 27/6/1981, 10:55am. I found my element is water and his is fire. Water and fire are always against of each other. So does it mean we are not compatible?

    1. In my opinion, since you stated that the home is vacant; 2. There is no issue for you to do renovations this year be it at East or other sectors so long as you have not moved into THAT home. 3. Thus, even if you were to do 10 or 20 renovations prior to move-in; there is no issue. 4. This is based on the concept of a remote control. Here, if you don't stay in that home; you cannot use a "remote control" to control your home. 5. However, if you had already moved-in to the home even after the 10 or 20 renovations; and "touch" or "disturb" East sector; then this is different. 5.1. Thus say after move-in; you don't like the wall colour at East and decided to repaint it a…

  17. Your question is very similar to this:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=31267&new= Hospitals and Doctors need the result of a triage. Cars that has problems (e.g. error codes) or fall sick also needs to be plugged in and a triage done. Today, if Jesus was suppose to be driving a people's car such as a Volkswagen VW; and if the car fail to start; he (Jesus) won't know the problem. He will have to approach "his mechanic" and ask for the above troubleshooting.... Even Moses and the ten commandments on tablets; may have to approach Steve Jobs upstairs to plea with him to have the ten commandment tablets be CONVERTED into IPAD 1, 2 an…

Yes, Master Lee. I think the surrounding is good. This is a fairly large residential community, not zoned for commercial ( shops, restaurants,...). Marked A lot is what I'm considering. The lot as you can see tapered in the back and treees are all around here. The drainage is 2 lots over on the right. Should I do anything to fix the odd shape for luck? I really appreciated your advice. V

I believe this is more marketing than feng shui. You see the reason why most people will price at 19.90 or 19.99 is that to the person buying it it does not seem like $20 as it is like or within the $10 plus. But in actual fact, it is actually $20. Dear Ang Chye, For married couples, it is not adviseable to us/placee two beds joined together. But for children, there should not be an issue of joining the two beds together to form a bigger bed. The best advise is if one is using two sets of bed is to leave a gap between the two beds.
