Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Started by myfs_140594,

Yes, Master Lee. I think the surrounding is good. This is a fairly large residential community, not zoned for commercial ( shops, restaurants,...). Marked A lot is what I'm considering. The lot as you can see tapered in the back and treees are all around here. The drainage is 2 lots over on the right. Should I do anything to fix the odd shape for luck? I really appreciated your advice. V

  2. A. Wow, your question is too basic that it is best to use your fingers to find the knowledge:- 1. For example, you can use the top left search field in this forum to search for sepcific terms like:- 1.1.Flying Star Feng Shui 1.2. Mountain Star 1.3. Water Star 1.4. Base Star and/or palace star 1.5. 9 star ki (nine star ki) Other broader terms on the two major schools of Feng Shui:- 1.6. Compass School Feng Shui (which includes Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui) 1.7. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui B. Alternatively, there are lots of books on Flying Star Feng Shui; usually available in bookstores or if you want to have a solid grounding; you might want to consider say, taki…

Dear Elena, The best cure (only cure) is to repaint the roof. The `blue roof effect' is gradual and will bring difficulty especially to the breadwinner. There will be many stumbling block. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ng Chiew Kiat, I believe you are trying to ask whether you can just enter the date of birth of the club in the ba zi report, am I right? Well, not really. The ba zi is for pesonal luck, you cannot use it in the same way for the establishment of a business or club. Though, it was a really good way of looking at it. But it will not work that way. You can only assess the feng shui but not the luck of the business/club/establishment. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  6. Dear Anon, Yes, a mountain star can be activated by a painting or photo e.g. of Mount Fuji. Avoid a photo with streams or rivers at the front of the mountain. It is acceptable for snow to be seen on the peak of the mountain painting. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Ideally, the center of the house should be left empty as possible, as that is what we call the centerpoint where all the influence meet. Sometimes, if the flying stars of the house is such that there is inauspicious stars at the center location that needs to be trapped. Then it is still ok to have like a stairway located there if there is like a stairway cupboard to help lock up the bad stars. Currently, you mentioned th…

There is a stagnant corner of my bedroom where I grow orchids by the east window. This corner is also the wealth section of the room. One of the orchids had died and I neglected to get rid of it. During this time, money had become scarce and I found my wallet constantly empty. I threw out the dead plant and placed a small water feature in the corner. Not a day later, my started to pile up. It was a wonderful transition.

I believe this is more marketing than feng shui. You see the reason why most people will price at 19.90 or 19.99 is that to the person buying it it does not seem like $20 as it is like or within the $10 plus. But in actual fact, it is actually $20. Just like if you price $99. It seems like it is less than $100 so mo…

Dear Sue, In a broad sense, both statements are correct. Usually, you need a competent Feng Shui practitioner to do a Feng Shui for an entire building. The practitioner not only takes into consideration the main entrance of the building but also the frontage. He/She also do an environmental scanning. Some Feng Shui practioners use only Shapes and Form here. While others combine Shapes and Form with Compass School techniques such as an extension of the Flying Star of the interior of a home to this building. In your case, you most likely be concerned with the interior assessment of your home. Unless you hire a Feng Shui practitioner who most likely will also do an overall a…

  14. In general, it depends on what type of home one stays in:- 1. landed property Here; if you have a garden, then your landscaping can form a "profile" of the missing corner. And depending on the extend, sometimes even a strategic lamp post can be used as a marker. Thus from a helicopter view, one can see the "missing corner" filled up. 2. Apartments Usually, and depends on the interior of the home, mirror in-side the home (north) sector can help to "extend" the missing corner. Alternatively, depending on circumstances, a concave mirror may be placed outside to "suck" back the missing corner wealth. Some Chinese practitioners ask their clients to place certain objects a…

  15. Started by Kieron,

Dear Joe, Indeed you have asked an interesting question. 1. Very often if one is house `hunting' and go look at houses that are not occupied, when we first step into the house (without first opening the window), when we breathe in the air, some how it is `stale' air. In many cases, after new houses were constructed, when I do the audit, I do feel the above. 2. Here, it is my believe that human Qi is equally important within a house or office for the following reasons:- a. Qi around us can consist of steam, weather, gas and force (atmospheric pressure). b. One unrelated but quite important matter is the moon. For example, high and low tides are attributed to the moons in…

Dear Anon, 1. Overall, in Feng Shui, it is best that a mirror not be placed on a wall where this could be inauspicious sector as twice the bad luck would bounce back. 2. However, if you feel that it is OK, then you can try to place it above the fireplace. But the mirrow should not be larger than the diameter of the fireplace. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, In order to understand `better', I like to share with you the fact that in the past, Chinese usually avoid having a toilet in the house! Here, there is totally no toilet at all. Hopes the above `answers' your question. For those who love water or long baths, it is not so good news. In my opinion, where possible the toilet bowl should not be at the true compass points i.e. at every 15 degree increments as this is based on the Flying Star 24 directions. The reason is because, if it so happen to be at an auspicious sector, this is not `so good.' Warmest Regards, Cecil

Under symbolism in Feng Shui; the best way to redress the concern is:- http://forum.geomancy.net/events/CDL_Talk_2/cdl_talk_2_slide_52.htm Usually sorry to add the pun "sane people don't place a partition" between their bed and the bedroom door especially if the bedroom is miserably small. Here, a partition if it is solid (air-tight) would often cause "stagnant qi" area for those sleeping at the "corner" closest to the partition wall. This is more of a concern than what you mentioned although it is equally not so good sounding..

A lot of terms used by other practitioner can be confusing especially when you come to facingsitting. This is because you have to also make sure that you are using the right orientation of the compass. Most will use the Chinese compass, which is South-North orientation which can add another level of confusion if you are not careful. 1. In the Chinese metaphyics, there are three kinds of luck:- 1.1 Heaven Luck or born with (analysed thru Ba zi) 1.2 Earth Luck or Feng Shui of a home or office 1.3 Human or Man Luck. (Relationships with family members etc..) 2. Here, 'Luck is against you' refers to one's person Heaven luck is not so lucky. Thus, in the specific 10 year luck period, one is not born with a "silver spoon" nor have the "silver spoon" luck during that 10 year period. 3. Thus, there are those who may not have good Heaven Luck, but have good family bonding, relationship support may even trascend even if one may not have that good earth luck. I have some queries here for your advise.. If the family members comprises of both West & East group (understand that direction that are good for West group will be very bad to East group), does that mean that the family will always be in conflict ? And how do you orient the house furniture and fixtures if they have to stay together? Dear Patrick, You can find out more about the significance of missing corners under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm In some homes, what may be assumed to be missing corners can alternatively instead be `protrusions'. If anyone is not sure, whether your house has `missing' corners or `protusions' can scan and attach for me to comment. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Generally, ROM already officially recognise the marriage legally. However,it is advisable to keep at least 3 months - 6 months apart to ensure that the two couples do not clash each other's good luck. If cannot be avoided, then probably the couples should not attend each other's ROM or Wedding Ceremony to avoid the good luck from being clashed away. Hope that helps. W…

Dear Cah, So far, this combination of stars happen to be under the 20 Year Flying Star, Period 8, West 2 & 3. The entire story, here is that under P8, West 2 & 3; unfortunately sector NW has this MS 7 WS 9 and BS 9. Thus it is NOT exactly true to say that this is a location where we can enhance. BUT rather, a location that we SHOULD neutralise bad stars. Why? #9 or the purple star 9 is = Fire element And in addition to this, this sector has twice the number of #9's (x 2) Furthermore, the combination of MS7 with WS9 reacts resulting in sexual problems. Thus, you or the Master is correct to try to introduce "Water" into the sector. Water can help to drown or re…
