Dear Erin, Under the Eight House Theory, the important point is that if one does not spent time at a specific location, it has little impact on the person. Thus, even if the prosperity area/sector is at the toilet, if one does not spent time at that location, it has relatively little impact. It does not automatically mean that because the prosperity area is at the toilet, using the toilet ie. flushing it will mean flushing down one's wealth. In my opinion, since this is a 1 room flat, one may not get a `Quantum Leap' in Feng Shui by `applying' FS principles here. Dear Carol, We can all appreciate your situation. In a confined space, there is not much one can do to relocate these items. However, this is not the `end of the world' as far as Feng Shui is concerned. In your case, just make sure that there is an `island' or a distance or gap especially between the stove and either the frige or the sink. Try to leave as much gap as possible. Dear Anon, One can place a bedside table between the toilet door and the bed. Here, one also has to place a table / reading lamp on it. By doing so, it will act as a `partition' between the toliet area and the bed. For the sha qi i.e. corner pointing towards the bed, especially if it is made of wood you can use a wind chime. How suitable the house is to the breadwinners ; 2. It has to do with the time spent at that particular sector. You can place it e.g. at a corner particularly at the frontage of the house.
