    1. Unless one's home is a palace or at least more than 10,000 square feet and a bedroom is equivalent to or even bigger than some small homes put-together. 2. But, if it takes no more than 15 to 20 steps to walk from one side to another in a bedroom; then, it is not that practical to subdivide that room to look into that room's Feng Shui, sector by sector. 3. Many Feng Shui practitioners are "not-so-free" nor more importantly, find it not practical todo so. However, ifany of your room is the size of half a football pitch or an olympic sized pool, then go ahead...

  5. Dear JL, 1. The main purpose of all Feng Shui theories is to correct imbalances in the Five elements. 2. Under the Flying Star School of Feng Shui, for example if there is an imbalance e.g. a Sickness (2) star and a Misfortune (5) star. If the location happens to be the bedroom, one has thus to cure the imbalance e.g. placing 6 coins at that sector to cure it. Here, an imbalance is `calculated' and thus a remedy is used to neutralise the imbalance. 3. Many a times, when one usually fall sick, the above would most likely be the cause. Here, we take action to cure it for a specific reason. Being healthy afterwards, can be indirectly related to `fertility'. 4. Many Feng Shu…

  7. A lot of things has happened this two months which first started with the dog becoming sick (and is still sick) when he was previously healthy, then I became very ill from Shingles. Then our TV is not working suddenly and today, my husband and daughter fell quite badly during their usually cycling. Is this bad feng shui or pure coincidence? How can I identify which area went wrong.

Some homes are like an unpolished gem. Some enhancement can do wonders to this home. But for some homes, the odds may be stacked against it. As no amount of enhancements can work. Such home often have more problem areas and instead of enhancements, one may have to use more Elastoplast (plaster) to fix up!

  10. Hi Anon, Here is that is Fire will exhaust star 4, and destroy Metal at same time. So this is appropriate to create an element balance between all ths stars since 2 (Earth), 7 (Metal), toilet (water flow), 4 wood, plus fire gives you a perfect five element flow:- Earth -> Metal -> Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Earth. Fire can be represented by colours red or by having a light source. So keeping the place bright or having the red colour will help exhaust the sector. But anyway, since it is the toilet sector is it not a very major concern as having such stars in the bedroom or main door sector. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Terri, In terms of selling a house, there is very little you can do using Feng Shui except to make the house look nice and clean and make a list of what are the benefits (ie near MRT etc). The only thing you can use Feng Shui if there are any good benefits based on feng shui to add value. Otherwise, nothing much you can really do. The other area which you can attempt to improve the luck is individually. ie based on your ba zi, ie a strong water person, so for example. You can try to wear more favourable colours ie Wood (green/brown). Improving your own personal luck may help a little. But ultimately still depends on your house location and factors. More than Feng S…

Dear Kumari, 1. Based on the Eight House Theory, it is good to study, by sitting facing a good direction. 2. In the Flying Star, there is a education sector but this is difficult to determine given the small room you have. 3. Under the `penmanship peak' theory, one could place a `Pagoda' figurine on the right side of the study table. Best wishes in your studies:) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ber, Please see below:- This is a `difficult' question to answer because there are many different ways to work towards improving one's luck. For a better understanding of luck, we have to look at the basic but popular Chinese saying: Chinese regard Destiny as No. 1, Feng Shui second and luck (third) in importance. Here, you will notice that Destiny refers to our Heaven's Luck. Luck that is supposely `given' to us when we are born. Feng Shui is based on Earth luck. and the third point: Luck is simply luck. What we are trying to do here is to use powerful tools: 1. Pillars of Destiny to map out our Heaven's Luck. By doing so, we can than better understand our Heav…

Lastly; When the buying stops, the selling can!

Dear Anon, What you mentioned is too general to say for sure what may be `wrong' with your relationship luck. This is because, there are quite a substantial number of reasons for this: 1. It may be your home (Earth luck). Here, it may involve as many as two major Feng Shui theories such as Shapes and Form and Compass School methods. (There could be perhaps some Shapes and Form - problems and/or Flying Star related `relationship' problems that may need to be neutralised. 2. It may be your Ba Zi (Pillars of Destiny - Heaven's Luck) 3. Other than the above, it may be other reasons beyond 1 or 2. Using Gua (Kua) cannot help here as it is not meant to help find out about rela…

  19. Dear Ber I really sympathise with you on this. It has more to do with e.g. personalities, experiences and even the person's upbringing i.e. human aspects than Feng Shui. I really wish I can help you but it is not within the true aspects of Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, and from messages received privately and thru this forum, " Sector Feng Shui " is too general to be of any use to a user. 2. In my opinion, there is therfore nothing magical about Mandarin Ducks. The only `magic' is that one's money disappears and ends up in the producer of mandarin ducks and in-between -- the other middlemen earning commission from it. 3. There are many reasons under Feng Shui for a fall in romance luck or generally - unlucky in marriage. Just to give you an example: For those who stay in a house with `large' amounts of doors (in relation to the size of the frontage). Often, many of the women in the house would remain single…

My last posted question was "I would like to ask on How to improve Sales?? My husband is working in the sales line. All the while his sales figure was very good, until the company change to other brand few months ago. The first month was still ok but thereafter was not good until now. He is carrying a small Ru Yi hanging on his handphone and small tortoise dragon in his pants pocket. Dear Anon, Further to what I had mentioned, most of us are aware of the Holy trinity of Luck. Often, the third dimension: Human Luck or Man Luck can pull down our luck especially if there are frequent quarrels in a home or unhappiness. Therefore, besides, Heaven Luck, and Earth Luck (Feng Shui), harmony in a home can help to boost one's luck at home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Aj, 1. There is a reference to the interpretation of colours at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/colours.htm 2. Yes, there are many `ways' Feng Shui practitioners interpret the use of colours. 3. In general, the safest colours for say a house is white. 3.1 As white represents the metal element and is usually, Metal element is predominantly used as a cure for both `bad' wood and `bad' earth elements under the Flying Star Feng Shui. 3.2 Of course colours are subjected to many many interpretations: 3.2.1 Some practitioners apply or advise colours based on `feelings'. 3.2.2 While other practitioners or usually books on Feng Shui may say that since North = Water element and Wa…

  25. Dear Mei, Please click on the attachment for a sample report on how to: 1. draw a centre grid of a home 2. place the study or work table to face either Prosperity or Excellent sector. 3. In the attachment:- 3.1 you can see a MR ABC. His best work directions are North (Excellent) and East (Prosperity). 3.2 He decides to use the middle bedroom for his work or study. 3.3 In the sample report, one can see that he can either place his work/study table facing North or East or both. Warmest Regards, Cecil
