General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

Frankly, if you are not sure, best to "invest" in or search for a Geomancer that provides Can or Cannot buy service or services for a home. Usually, if you are very interested in a home; and if you engage a geomancer to advice on "Can or cannot buy"; on that visit; the geomancer will advice on the home and if the home has issues; will advise you further and often, you will get to understand what to look out for (later) on your next house hunting. Hope you understand that a one line statement that you had made below:- sounds so simple.... A "5" pian cai is very high. Pian Cai does not automatically only means "lottery" luck. It could also mean bonus, promotion and profit - luck!

  3. Dear Yak Heng, If you are D.I.Y. Feng Shui, then, you may have to spent more effort in understanding the various Shapes and Forms as well as Compass School Feng Shui (which includes Flying Star Feng Shui). Frankly, you may have to `burn-midnight oil' digesting as much as you can on these concepts. Else, the last resort would be to get a FS practitioner. Since, your short question cannot be replied to in total as there are lots of concepts involved even within each Feng Shui principle/concept. Warmest Regards, Cecil regards yhgoh

  4. Mr Cecil, My bedroom is having M8, W8 and B3. facing South. If I stand facing south (window) Mountain star is on my left and Water star is on my right. If I stand facing north (inside the bedroom facing the door), then Mountain and water is the other way round. Where should I face and which is correct position of the mountain/ water star?

The example given was a north house and as the map of the house also faces north. What about other facing eg. west house or east house? Do we take themain front door as north though it is a west or east house report? You need to first determine the North direction of the house. Then divide the house from the centerpoint into 8 direction. Then orientate the eight house or flying star chart so that the North correspond to the North of the layout. Then you will be able to know which sector is what direction and how i…

  9. Dear Mike, Frankly, in my opinion, don't be overly worried about this. This is because "our life is what we want to make of it!" In my opinion, the danger with reading too much of this can lead into two unhealthy situations: 1. Auto-suggestion If we tell a sheep it is "stupid" - it does not understand and will not be affected by our statement. But if we were to for example constantly tell a child i.e. he /she is really stupid, in time, the child may feel inferior and have such social issues. 2. Self-fulfilling prophercy If we do constantly think and act that way, it will indeed come true. Since we are on this earth for such a short-time, we should try to make the best use…

    1. Glad that you find our website useful. 2. Yes, it is best to have the stove installed. As it is one of the most important items (affecting health and wealth) for a family especially if one moves or try to move-in for the first time. 3. In the past, if the main stove is not installed, those who also use an alternative charcoal stove may move in .. but need to "use" it for the first time. 4. Minor touch up of the ceiling is fine! BUT, it is best that you are aware where is your North and South sector of the new home! As this year, North = Tai Sui and South is the three killings. When the minor touch up of the ceiling is to be done at one of these two sectors, try no…

Dear Anon, When drawing a map or physically at the moment, it is not feasible to move the "qi of the centrepoint" since this is suppose to be the centre-of-gravity. Looks like you have to live with this wall. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Hopefully, if the neighbour's ba gua mirror is quite a distance away, the further the better for your home. If it is not aimed at your balcony or if you have reflective glass e.g. tinted glass, it can act to reflect back the ba gua mirror if the choice is not to hang a mirror to counter the neighbour's. Frankly, not sure why the neighbour hung the ba gua mirror. Does many of your units in your block has sharp edges "cutting" the neighbour's units? Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Priority should be given to Flying Star Analysis rather than lessen the `irritation' of the Eight House Theory. The Eight House Theory offers no cure with respect to Feng Shui. 2. Either you sleep further away or stay away from that sector or use the spouse as a `shield'. For example, if that sector is his health sector, he sleeps closer to this intangible sector. 3. In any event, irritation is not as worse off as the `death or disaster sector'. 4. The better method of enhancing your room is not to just look at your personal element and enhance based on this but to look at both husband and wife's element and strength and find a `binding' combination i.e…

Also, is this 'vomiting' referring to physical vomiting or more than that? Thanks! 17. These are some considerations: 1. One question that is relevant here is : "Can I rewind time or go back to the past to change things?" 2. As at today, it is impossible to go back to the past. 3. Same, thing, here. You can't 4. The concept: The Three-Step-Approach 4.1. This concept of house number belongs to the branch of Feng Shui called : Compass School of Feng Shui. 4.2. This sub-branch is based on Flying Star Feng Shui. But because each different levels are considered to have different qi; it is literally known as VERTICAL Flying Star Feng Shui. 5. It is more useful for someone who is looking at a new development and where the units are just launched. And one can try t…

Frankly, it is not really correct for you to relate the number of earth element present in someone else chart, to add that to your own chart. It does not work that way. The number of elements in individual person chart, is used to asses whether he is weak or strong person of a particular element. ie if he is a wood…

  20. Dear Caroline, Under the Eight House Theory, there is relatively, nothing much else one can do other than try to face a favourable direction. In fact, having one's back to a `glass' wall is not necessarily bad so long as there is a back row cabinet behind us. Usually, this cabinet is at the same level as our side partition. This is symbolic of a mountain position. Often, other objects (placement of charms or figurines) in most cases are more of Ren Cai or Human Luck factor. This affects us mentally than - as a charm or help. In fact, nowadays, our table have little real-estate given that we already have a monitor or keyboard and mouse. Warmest Regards Cecil

Dear Anon, Under the 33 percent "Rule", a ring is `minute' and have very little impact on a person. One can still choose to wear a ring based on English `Astrological signs'. Under the 33 percent " Rule ", greater impact on a person is e.g. the clothes he/she wear as it covers quite alot of the area on a person. For example, a T-shirt covers quite a substantial part of the body. For rings, it is in my opinion that you wear something which gives you "confidence." For those who want to find out the gems, you can also visit my other website: www.lovesigns.net which is about Chinese Astrology which looks at a person's Year of Birth. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil Lee & Master Robert Lee The web forum "Picture/Photo resources". Iam really interested and it's very unique. I like to know the six coins is it place with a red cloth or red paper (ang pow) as a back ground of the coins. After that do I glue the coins and tie it with a string. Would be much appreciate if Master can give me some steps. Eager to learn. Awaiting from you reply. Thank you in advance. With warmest regards Sophia Chia

  23. As mentioned previously; even if one needs to plot a 9-grid system; usually, it should follow the cardinal points of the compass. This resource was posted to this forum many years back by a user..... It shows that even in a 9-grid system on a perfectly rectangular or squarish home; it may have to be tilted correctly to the proper compass orientation. Thus, as mentioned, many geomancers; inclusive of myself prefer the pie chart method to this 9-grid system...

Dear Vickie, I am not sure if have read this write-up on Cate Bramble's site at: http://www.loop.com/~bramble/fengshui/confess.html (Confessions of Lin Yun). Within this page there are links to an article devoted to Lin Yun also. One should not place a Ba Gua especially inside a room or office. This will create Sha Qi. This website does not discuss on Black Hat Sect or BTB is an "off-topic" More authentic traditional Feng Shui theories such as Eight House (for personal directions) and other more advanced theories like Flying Star (for the office) and for the individual i.e. Pillars, I believe would help more. Warmest Regards, Cecil
