Feng Shui, then, you may have to spent more effort in understanding the various Shapes and Forms as well as Compass School Feng Shui (which includes Flying Star Feng Shui). Frankly, you may have to `burn-midnight oil' digesting as much as you can on these concepts. Else, the last resort would be to get a FS practitioner. Dear Anon, Hopefully, if the neighbour's ba gua mirror is quite a distance away, the further the better for your home. If it is not aimed at your balcony or if you have reflective glass e.g. tinted glass, it can act to reflect back the ba gua mirror if the choice is not to hang a mirror to counter the neighbour's. In fact, having one's back to a `glass' wall is not necessarily bad so long as there is a back row cabinet behind us. Usually, this cabinet is at the same level as our side partition. As mentioned previously; even if one needs to plot a 9-grid system; usually, it should follow the cardinal points of the compass. This resource was posted to this forum many years back by a user..... It shows that even in a 9-grid system on a perfectly rectangular or squarish home; it may have to be tilted correctly to the proper compass orientation. Thus, as mentioned, many geomancers; inclusive of myself prefer the pie chart method to this 9-grid system...
