Dear Guest, In terms of studying, you should try to take a look at:- 1. Either your study direction, should try to face one of your 4 good directions under your eight house chart:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm 2. Make sure also that you take note especially on where the sun enters into your room. Try to to study against the glare of the sun or where the sun light shines onto your table as it can be very distractive under such situation. Or where too much sunlight especially shining on the walls of your room can also make it very warm and thus very distractive. 3. The last thing to check is sometimes, it could be due to the colour sc…

Dear Cheryl Usually, it is best to determine what type of wealth "corner" or sector this is. In general, if you have applied Flying Star Feng Shui; the numbers have different connotations:- 1. Mountain Star #8 = relationship, networking, luck = or auspicious mountain star. Activated with a "mountain". 2. Water Star #8 or #1 = water wealth location. Activated with a water feature 3. Base Star #8 = similar to Para 1. However, these stars must not be looked into isolation. Thus, you should have knowledge of MS#, WS# and Base# at each sector inorder to properly balance or enhance each sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Sir, my wealth corner is l…

  3. 1. Traditionally, a weak yin earth person's - one of the best careers has to do with the fire element. 2. Food technologist in general can be associated with earth element. If one is a weak earth person, then as a food technologist, it is like adding earth to your weak earth. Here, under ba zi analysis, the career is acceptable, but just an average career - i.e. akin to placing food on the table. Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am a weak yin earth person based on the analysis. 6. Started by elena,

Dear Elena, You have brought up an interesting question. 1. Feng Shui cannot be done by `remote control'. 2. One has to stay in the building/house in order to reap the benefits of the luck `made' under the building/house. 3. If the new house also is `good' and brings one luck, one can still be able to retain the previous (lucky) house and continue to prosper. 4. When the house `brings' a person `luck' avoid making major renovations. 5. The reason is because the house chart period may change e.g. Period 6 house becomes a Period 7 house and may change the `luck' of the house. 6. Someone else who occupies the house may not get the same luck as the `owners' because the house …

Dear Sandra, Usually, the main entrance door is the door: 1. Where you have your unit number on. 2. It can also be the door you frequently use. In your case, since you use the door at the "East facing" frequently, this should be considered your main entrance door. What you can do is to check which door is more auspicious to you. The east facing or the North door. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  8. Dear Anon, There is some truth in this. The rationale is because usually, at (high or higher levels) the statues will not "clash" with our normal living. A. "Salivating at what we eat or drink!" Most often many of us have limited wall space in a home. And it is very common to find the statues facing e.g. the dining table or the living room coffee-table. In such examples, placing the statues at low levels would imply that they could literally be "eyeing" what we eat or drink! And thus considered disrestpectful. In the above, two examples, thus placing the statues at a higher level would mean that they are usually above this line of sight, thus is a better choice given …

  9. Started by moon88,

Dear Anon, 1. Most of the time, you will find two lion statues (which are standing tall and strong) on both sides of a main entrance. 2. Fudogs are more like the small remote cousins of the majestic lion or the equivalent of `poodles'. 3. This is quite similar to live pet dogs that some of us keep. Some keep dogs for both as a companion (inside the home) and if there is a garden, some keep to `protect' the house. 4. As these are beliefs, it is still acceptable to have the figurines inside a place especially a hotel. Furthermore, these figurines are not religious objects and are mere statues. Dear Sualeha, You should instead check whether (truely or not) if really under period 8 (flying star) whether there is/are #8 or double 8 at this sector. If it is not, how did you come about that this is the prosperity? If this prosperity is based on eight house, then you can look at other schools to improve your situation. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

These are some considerations: 1. Applying Flying Star is about looking at the big picture. First. 2. Where are the openings vs e.g. the plotted pie chart to see where qi most likely flow into the home or that sector. This forms the key ingredient in later seeing whether a cure can be put into place if any. 3. Frankly, I can't comprehend this statement: "The five element analysis (mountain vs water) result in earth 5 (inauspiciou) and" (?????)

  12. Started by trilbee,

Dear Tril, If you have not reviewed how to find the main door direction, please check out:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm In the graphic presentation on the above site, you find that at the last part of the presentation, I actually superimposed a circular protractor i.e. 360 degress protractor on the layout plan. Here, you should then mark out i.e. 0 degrees (North), 45 degrees NE, 90 degrees East etc... and this is how you draw a `pie chart' with North, NE, East, SE, South, SW, West, NW. In fact there are two methods of dividing a room i.e. by diving it into 9 equal sectors as what mentioned below or using the `pie chart' method. If you are using a compass …

Dear Tess, Frankly, since the railway tracks are very close, it would seem that it will be part of your daily lives. It is not like closing one's eyes and wishing it away. Perhaps, the sound or vibration would be there. One may have to get used to it. The only consolation is to see where possible, if additional sound proofing could be used e.g. closing the side of windows facing the tracks or insulation or curtains, to reduce the noise. This may sound too advanced, but nowadays, work is going on into "noise cancellations - devices" that may neutralise it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  14. Started by elena,

Dear Elena, 1.Depending on the tilt, it may or may not affect the Flying Star of the house. Especially if it is a slight tilt. (When we measure the compass direction of the mid-point of the door from the centre of the house.) And if it is still within the 15 degree range of that sector. 2. The Flying Star is on the birth chart of the house and it does not take into consideration the personal best directions of a person. Usually, it should instead be `govern' by the Eight House Theory where, tilting the door (as you have mentioned) to the advantage of the breadwinner. Here, there are a few major considerations: 1. Check to see if the new location is not subjected to poison…

Dear Niteka, 1. It is difficult to say that one has an area related to the career area and another room? related to ... money room. Or another room related to romance. 2. In my opinion, if it is not personalised to an individual or using Feng Shui in a holistic way, this type of `understanding' is too general to be able to work. 3. I believe that applying fixed template although can bring one "hope", it can also conversely bring one disappointment. As such concepts means that it applies to everyone and I feel that it is too "generalised". Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. I like to clarify that in my opinion, the main "drawback" is related to the full glass facade on the `facing' side of each apartment. 2. In my opinion, this is `radical' design where, full height glass is used for e.g. the living room, bedrooms and even for the master bedroom. 3. The major `flaw' in my opinion is the lift up glass windows. This is similar in concept like those found at toilets. I would rather prefer the use of sliding windows or better, windows that open (under the normal way). This `flaw' together with the full height glass window, I believe is not ideal for a home (especially since it is near the equator) and it is not practical to turn on…

  18. Started by mehtakaushal,

Hi Kaushal, Generally, you are refering to the fact that your house has a base star forming the Luo Shu square where adding the numbers from each of the direction gives you 15. Yes, I have not doubt that your chart looks like a luo shu square. And it does have number combination influence. However, Flying Star is not so simple as to just looking at the numbers of the base star. It is even more important to understand the interactions of the Flying Star when encountered with two important stars that constantly fly around the base star every 20-year and yearly. The monthly and daily stars are often not so important as quite difficult and also not to mentioned tedious to w…

  19. Dear Nevine, nevine al seidi wrote: I am strong wood. This means my colour is green. Should I employ more red and fire element, more and more metal in my home to neutralize my nature? And does this mean I should surround myself with less living plants? I think you are a little confused here. Kua (Eight House) is often used more for most suitable/best facing etc. It is based on year of birth so it is less accurate when you are planning to use for personal analysis. Thus, even though there is a kua element you do not use it as your personal element. Ba Zi charts your luck and true personal element as it uses the day/month/year and even hour of birth. So it is better to …

These are some considerations:- 1) Sales ofPackaging Machines 1.1 If the main job function of the person is in sales, then it is considered as a Fire element person. 2) MarketAnalyst in a Oil Company 2.1 Frankly, I am not too familiar with such a function. But if the company seeks a specialisation such as a graduate in Marketing for this job; then it can be the Fire element. 2.2. But if this job has more to do with consultancy or some form of management consultancy then this belongs to the Metal element. 2.3. But if the job has more to do with Strategic Planning to grow the oil company; then it should belong to the Wood element.

  22. Dear Ang Chye, Traditionally, when a child was born, the parents or grandparent would consult a Geomancer to find a name for the child. The first thing the Geomancer does is to look at the child's Ba Zhi (Pillars of Destiny). For example, my grandfather was told that my elder brother lacked `water' element in his Ba Zhi. His name has one character `water' i.e. " Chwee " added to his name. As for me, since I did not lack any elements, my name had a " Tiong " or " centre " (implying balance) in one of the characters. For example, a fictitious name could be: Tan Leng Chwee (where: Tan is the surname, Leng Chwee is the last name). The " Chwee " was added to such a name. This …

  23. 1. Frankly, it is best to check with your friend further as it is difficult for me to comment on just a few sentences. 2. However, often tilting if it is the main door can only be temporary - unlike tilting the entire home say 7.5 degrees towards another facing direction. 3. Thus, since your friend is in the know, best to check with him further. 4. If you are or your friend is based his advise to "tlit" based on Compass School of Feng Shui, then, make sure that the exact compass readings are taken. I hope it is not like a novice taking a compass reading and then finding that it is "wrong". There are proper ways to take a reading and it should be adhered to.

Dear Robert, Im very gratitude towards your prompt reply and the analysis you have provided for me. Thanks really. And I suddenly realized during all these years, im really lacking in ?fire.? Example, my whole house ispainted blue, my room in gray. Im surrounded by sea because I?m in the shipping line and my work place faces the sea. There just isn?t anything associated with ?fire? but I?ll make sure I spend some effort from now, in any case, i might jus go and look you up.
