1. Frankly, cleansing varies with different cultures. And races. 2. In the Far East, most people who consider themselves down with luck, often "flower bathe" themselves instead of cleansing the home:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=16295&new= 3. Again, the above "cleansing ritual" may not appeal to people outside of the Far East. 4. In the Far East (especially Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, Sarawak and Thailand), "cleansing" a home means that the home is "dirty" (some felt that some evil entity stays) in the home. 5. However, I believe, you meant that your house is "clean" but you are purely out of luck, that's all.

Dear Master, Would like to know what is the interpretation for period 8 flying star with 3-9-1(M-W-B) for the entrance. Is it consider good? If not, any cure? How about a6-3-7 for the Master Bedroom? Is it good also? I am taking a NE1 Period 8 Natal Chart and it is a Wan Shan Wan Shui House for that period. Is it consider good or we still have to look at individual sector? Thanks a lot for your advise. Have a nice day Regards

1. For your first question, not a major concern so long as the cover for the sewerage hole is fully sealed. As we don't want "gas" e.g. methane to escape from the man-hole. 2. It is never advisable to have the septic tank around the center of the home. Given that logically how do you drain off excess "gas - methane or other gases". Your second question, is a more important concern. While the first can easily be "rectified" i.e. make sure that the gas or dirty air don't flow and contaminate cooked food in anyway. Dear Christie, Christie Tiew wrote: i read the info in this web, that indicated snake cant be a good couple, is there any way to save the relationship? pls give some advise . thank you. Generally, horoscope compatibility is only one form of compatibilty check. It does simply comparison between one horoscope signs vs 11 other different signs to come up with how compatible or uncompatible the signs will be rated. Besides that check, you can make use of the free comparison report in the Member Area:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net You see, even for Snake horoscope signs, there may be a weak water snake, strong water snake etc. A weak water snake vs weak wood snake would…

Dear Emily, Please see below:- 1. Frankly, this is not an issue. 2. When one takes over a new house/apartment, one has not being considered as moved-in yet. 3. Yes, it is very unrealistic to leave a wall or flooring untouched. It is very impractical - and seems `silly' to do so:) 4. This is why another key sucess factor in Feng Shui is the selection of auspicious dates. 5. The two most important dates are:- 5.1. Selecting a good date for start-of-renovations. 5.2. Selecting a date for move-in. 6. After selecting an auspicious date for start-of-renovations, the contractor can start work even at the Tai Sui location. 1. The key to understanding this is to look at it…

Since this is the back of the house and not the front entrance, the concept of roving eyes would not apply unless that door is your main entrance. Some past resources on this subject can be found, here:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Roving_Eyes_or_Infidelity

Dear Jennifer, I usually do the following: 1. Get a overhead projector transparency (1 piece). 2. Draw the 8 compass directions on the transparency. 3. Use different coloured permanent ink and write down each family member' auspicious and inauspicious direction wordings on each of the directions. For example at North you can see:- Death (Father) Longeivity (Mother) Health (Daughter) Irritation (Son) N | Write each family member's intangible force at each compass sector. 4. Get a layout plan of your home. 5. Draw the centrepoint and mark the North to South compass alignment. 6. Superimpose the transparency onto the layout plan and you will get a `big' picture for everyone…

Dear Anon, The Chinese New Year is based on the day when there is a full moon. As the full moon lasts 15 days, Chinese New Year lasts 15 days. Traditionally, the first day of Chinese New Year should be treated as the day, Tai su changes direction. For the Chinese, it does not `really' matter because, usually, renovations are never carried out during the Chinese New Year. It is not because of tradition but rather, one cannot find workers anywhere. The reason is because most of the construction companies and their staff return back to their village or in modern situations, return to their town. So, even if one wants to do renovation work (other than if you D.I.Y), one canno…

Dear Carina, Please see below:- 1. Under Traditional Feng Shui, it is known as The Eight House Theory or the East Group or West Group persons. 2. Quite a lot of information is available at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm 3. If you check back quite recent messages, I have mentioned what: 3.1 What is the purpose of the Eight House Theory 3.2 What are the uses and limitations on this theory. Perhaps you may have to do `some' homework by doing a search for this. As the same question has been covered recently. This is such a `wide topic'. It may not necessary come under Feng Shui. I would consider it as a belief or disbelief. It is natural that dried flowers turn…

1. Applying Feng Shui is a holistic approach. 2. You may want to read thru the first page of the wiki:- http://wiki.geomancy.net 3. Even applying proper Feng Shui, there is a holistic approach to it. 4. Honestly giving a simple sketch or giving some details is very hard to find out really what's wrong. As often, a full Feng Shui audit needs informatinon like the Shapes and Forms of the site / building and unit and even compass school. 5. If one really wants to DIY, then you may have to understand - Key Success Factors in D.I.Y. Feng Shui and many more considerations that I had highlighed in the above wiki. Dear Aj, The purpose of FS are two-fold:- 1. To neutralise Sha Qi and poison arrows. 2. To enhance beneificial Qi. From the above, it is good to understand what Sha Qi is and poison arrows. A. Poison Arrows. Examples are:- a. Another building with its corner pointed towards a house main entrance `posing as a threat' to the main door. b. Some FS practitioners believe that open bookshelves with books is a poison arrow. This is where the edges of books act like `knives'. c. Thus overall, one can imagine "poison arrow" as literally an arrow aimed at e.g. the main entrance door, through the window of the house or aimed at the person's body. d. In the bedroom, it can be the edg…

Hi thank you for the great web site and the reports. However I don't know if I made a mistake when I originally filled out my info on the house I live in. It is a period 6 house but I am not sure if it became a period 7 house. When I moved in 2 years ago some renovations were made but I don't know if they were major enough to change the period of house. What was done: 1. Installed new carpeting throughout house except in kitchen and bath. 2. Extended kitchen wall 2 feet so the opening between living room and kitchen was a little smaller. 3. Made an opening in the hallway to get access to a bedroom closet without going into the bedroom 4. Knocked out 2 feet of wall t…

i can't move the dog to another house cos i only own 1 house. and its quite a small one, so i can't "keep the dog away from me" too. it doesn't help that i like dogs, and so is my wife. so i was wondering if there was any way both me and the dog can co-exist in the same house. good thing is my dog did not die during the 2 years she was here with me, but i was thinking things may be better if there is no "clashing". any suggestions? thanks for the help

The way all houses are built to be facing between two opposite houses similar to the picture I sent you. Based on your advice, I would look somewhere else to buy house. Thanks again for you advice. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, I live in a N1, Ren home 348deg. Now to find the 24 mountain direction do I use the 348 deg as my facing directon or 0 deg from the center point of the home for my reference point ? In general, you take the facing direction of your home. ie I presume you have already considered that:- 1. Apartments (2nd-7th level), you take the main door direction (ie standing at the main door looking outwards). 2 Apartments (8th level and up), you take the living room/balcony direction (ie standing in your living room looking outwards). 3. Landed property, you take the frontage of your building. So say if yours is the landed property and you…

Dear Anon, 1. Usually, these coins are replicas and `tons' are made. 2. If you are in Asia, these coins are plentiful especially in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore etc... 3. In the internet, there are now many Feng Shui emporiums. Use a search engine for Feng Shui emporium and you should easily find one of these companies selling `ready' made or tied coins. Do compare their pricing. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Edited by Robert: In future, such questions will not receive any reply nor will it be posted, as it will only open up to more users simply posting a date to ask us if it is good or bad. A good date needs to be check for ba zi compatibilty as well as tung shu key alamac influence. Dear Catherine, catherine Lee wrote: Please let me know if anyone can help to check if May12, 2006is a good date.
