Dear Reina, Quote: ie period 7 (NW sector has 5-2-5 and yearly 5 will be very bad) ie period 8 (NW sector has 6-6-7 and yearly star 5 not too bad) I don't understand the NW 525 in 7 and 665 in 8. Can you please explain further. Frankly, this is lots of flying star related analysis. I was simply trying create an example to tell you that different period and different flying star numbers in the sector will make the yearly star have different overall influence. 5-2-5 are all three Strong Earth Illness/Misfortune star. With the yearly 5 again nother Strong Earth will make that sector extremely bad. 6-6-7 are Metal related stars. Metal helps to exhaust Earth, thus even if S…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: In hunting for an apartment, is high-rise or low-rise building better? Is there anything to do with qi flow? In general, higher floors are generally more popular because firstly it gives a good view (usually unblocked by other flats). Also, under flying star above 7th floor onwards, it is always said that your frontage (usually the living room/balcony) contains virtual water (open space). Thus, usually higher floor is more popular. As for whether which is better in terms of Feng Shui, you have to really check out the environment in relation to the unit to determine which is better. Doesn't mean that lower floor means not as good. Some low flo…

Would a water fountain help as well? Do you have any suggestions to remedy this or should we look for another house? Sha Qi from roads are harder to cure because these are external shapes and form influences. I would say that the planting of hedges to block this will be much better than the use of a bamboo windchime. In feng s…

Dear Reina, Reina Bernadette De Leon wrote: My house was built in period 7 and its front entrance is the west (actually side entrance) but the facing direction is south. My question, if my house was built in period 7,what flying star chart should I follow, period 7 or period 8? Right now I have made some cures in my home but I followed the flying star chart of 2005. Am I right? Please give me some advice on what to do? Thank you. In order to determine if your home is still a period 7 or period 8, you will need to confirm whether there are any major renovations done in 2004/2005. You see a house does not change to the new period automatically unless you make enough chan…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: The picture file shown is similar to the flat that I had purchased. The walls of the study room and another bedroom have sloping walls. If I have built in cabinets to make the walls straight, does it help? Yes, sloping walls tend to create additional poison arrow, so not very good in feng shui perspective. In feng shui, as long as you can no longer see the threat, it no longer becomes an issue. So by building a cabinet to hide the slope will be one way to resolve this sha qi. The other way is if your ceiling is very high, a false ceiling is also another away to conceal such sloping walls or any beams. These are usually the most effective sol…

Dear Cecil and friends, I've just bought a new condo, the blue horizon at west coast cresent. I'm wondering how's the feng shui of this project by far east. The unit i've bought is a 2+1 unit at the 4th floor tower A. Why it attract me is because the surrounding has no blockage. We're facing the japanese school and west coast park. It is very windy and bright. Our unit is directly in front of the roof top garden, which is near BBQ pit. Alot of people might think that near BBQ pit will be very noisy and no privacy, but by far, I've not seen a single soul using there or sitting around there because most residence would prefer to do their BBQ by the swimming pool or club ho…

Dear Robert Lee Would like your advise and your opinion. In one of the book I read, (JoRussell)saying the missing corner it can be place a light outside at the point or an object such as a statue or heavy stone to provide grounding for the area. Or a bagua or a mirror but then the missing corner happen to be in the master bedroom cut across the kids room which is North-East (earth element) location and under the eight house chart prosperity area, but the flying star sickness area(M5, B2). As such, it is not possibly to place a light outside the window andplace such itemsoutside the window as it may fall on the ground. Plant are also not adviceable to place in the room. A…

Dear Robert Lee Many thanks for your very prompt reply. Really appreciate it. It's make sense to me what you have said. Lately, my husband just put the corals in the filter. Maybe, that was the reason behind the death of the fish. It's original total of the fishes is ten plus a black sucker fish. Now it is nine fishes. If tofollow my husband kua number is 2 suppose to have six fishes. Now, do we have to replace one of the fish or let it be nine fishes? Thank you once again. Dear Wong Paul, Wong paul wrote: Mr Lee, Care to elaborate how can I improve the flying star of my house. thanks Just like what we kept mentioning from time to time. You must identify what are leaks in the home. So for flying star, do a flying star analysis of the home. Once you have done a flying star chart, identify where are the trouble stars ie star 5 and star 2. If they fall in key areas of the house (ie living room/bedroom etc). These stars should be neutralised with metal. Even like star 3 and star 4, these are stars often related to lawsuits / romance stars. If they are present in especially bedroom etc, these are sectors that need to be balance off. Often wi…

Dear Masters Cecil & Robert, This may sound silly or stupid, but even after reading your site as well as user's questions and your answers to them, I am quite confused when it comes to applying the elements theory. I work in Advertising as a copywriter. But since 4 years, it's like life has come to a standstill. In 2000-end, because of office politices, I had to quit my job. Then, health problems got severe, so started freelancing. The first year was fine, but then assignments dwindled, new ones never finalised. I feel blocked creatively & otherwise. I am really depressed. Please advise. # My present house is a 7 period house. Rectangular in shape. Main colour a…

  15. Hello there, I've received my full Bazi reading (plus career) and it says that I am a weak metal person with too much fire in my chart. In addition, I have a Creative Star in the fieldsof advertising, writing, marketing, art.My career element is wood and fire, but that my lucky elements are earth and metal (because I'm a weak metal). As a result,I cannot work in my career element of fire, and as for the career element of wood, it says that I can do it only if I am in contact with Earth element constantly. In addition, my life analysis tells me that I am destined for a hard life from the age of 30 (and I am 27 this year!!) I just don't know what to make of my reading. It …

  20. Cecil, Both my wife and I are metal dogs, born in 1970, with Kua No. 3. We stay in a South West facing house with our bedroom in the south sector. We sleep with our heads facing East. The East wall, this year, is afflicted I think with the Illness star. We have an 8 immortal wulou in our bedroom. This East Wall is shared by our neighbour, who sleeps on the opposite side of this wall, with their heads facing West (us). My neighbour for the past year or so has had cancer and because of this, my wife feels that with us sleeping facing East (due to illness star) and facing this neighbour, there is a double dose of negative energy. Is this true? My wife has had difficulty…
