Dear Anon, Some practitioners may consider the apartment asSE facing because the main entrance is located facing SE. If so, since SE facing is wood, it is not suitable for a Strong Fire person. On the other hand, the alternative view is that it can be SW facing i.e. earth element. Thus, would be suitable to a Strong Fire person. Usually, without an onsite visit, I believe many traditionalist practitioners would consider your apartment as a SE facing one as the defacto facing direction of the apartment. Often, a more accurate assessment is needed e.g. onsite to view the surrounding buildings, garden, open space and to locate the qi flow coming towards the unit either…

  2. Dear Master Cecil Lee I, frankly, agree what you had said, it is often wise not to read too many "wrong books" and as a result in "forcing" us into following too many silly "taboos". Well, have some tips to share, read from oneof the book (author). Hope you enlighten us (users):- 1. If the poison arrow is comingfrom the South, place a large urn of water in front ofyour door. This will overcome hostile energy coming at you. 2. If the poison arrow is coming from the North, place three mounds of earth at the front of your house or three large rocks to overcome the hostile energy. Hanging a faceted crystal in front of your door is also a good cure. 3. If the poison arrow…

Dear Chee Kheong, It is a strong consideration to move the stove. Since we are just going by description, it is good for you to see the feasibility of this inconsideration with: 1. in the new position, where best the stove does not face the toilet bowl or basin 2. hopefully the new position does not clash with the wash basin or 3. is there a secure solid wall behind the stove 4. how about windy days? Does the postion allow fire to "move-around" or forced-out of the front ... which may cause hurt to the body etc... The above are also some of the considerations before implementing any change. I can only think of the above for now. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please go thru the attached chart. This chart shows that person should preferably not register a business in his name especially if he intends to go into business in the year 2027. This is only a sample chart shows not only is the person's 10-year big luck is against the person but also overall luck as inauspicious period. With a weightage score of -22, -26, -24 as very inauspicious periods. These are the people who, where possible should not register a business under their name. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Robert, Thank you very much for that clear explanation! It makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. Four Pillars merely indicates what sort of heavenly luck one can expect given the combination of heavenly stems and earthly branches that influence a period in time. Sorry to sound obsessive and/or aggressive, but I've spent some time in trying to understand Four Pillars. Just one more question? My investigation has revealed that my Day Heavenly Stem is Yin Metal and Year Earthly Branch is Monkey. My lucky element is fire. My romantic star is Rooster. How do my Four Pillar components affect my relationship with somebody who has Yang Fire in his Day Heavenly Stem, Sna…

Dear Maria, It is better to approach the issue under the Holistic Approach to Feng Shui. For example, other considerations - if your home is a landed property is to make sure that the "mouth" of the house is not often opened too large. For example, some homes, one have both the main entrance and a panel of sliding doors to the front patio. Frequently by opening this two mouth -- may imply that children may not get married. There are perhaps also so many other issues, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  13. Dear Felicia, Apparently, you are new to Feng Shui. 1. For the elusive "wealth corner" there are quite alot of things to take note off! 2. Authentic Feng Shui involves especially understanding Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui: Eight House / Flying star. 3. If para 2 seems greek, than either if you want to D.I.Y. then got to start from fresh going thru various concepts such as those under Para 2. 4. In addition, the most common mistake made by many of us is: often, we think in terms of only " where is my wealth sector" Not realising that : " Fix-the-leak, first!" 5. For example, many us heard of this story about this boy who tried to save Holland. He lit…

Dear Master Cecil Sorry if I had been a nuisance and posted a stupid question. Do forgive my ignorance. You are right that mothers have alot to worry and perhaps worry unnecessarily. Of course we will try our best to improve our relationships with our children. The only worry is that if bazi is inborn or innate, no matter how hard one tries to be nice and friendly, may not be able to overcome or change the fate. Anyway, thank you very much and grateful for your prompt reply. Best Regards Paris Yahoo! Mobile - Download the latest ringtones, games, and more!

Dear Caroline, Please see below:- Otherwise, based on your description, it seems practical. Let's be reasonable. And see some logic, here: In the past, I mentioned this senario: Let's imagine that the two of us are interested in dating a colleague in the office. Both of us know "SECTOR" Feng Shui. And according to this "silly Feng Shui book" SW = our romance sector. I placed9 roses at the SW sector of my office work table. You saw what I had done. And boldly placed 99 roses at the SW sector of your work table. Maybe, you have enhanced to your max but to me, my max could be a room full of 999 roses. So, I have (secretly) outbid YO…

Dear Sophia, 1. Traditional Feng Shui has it's roots to the Five elements concept. 2. In my past forum messages, authentic Feng Shui has to do with both the Five elements concept and numerology based on say the Flying Star Feng Shui numbers. 3. Thus, whether the question of using an 8 wooden windchime is acceptable or not -- there is frankly no right or wrong answers. It is often due to one's interpretation and understanding or belief. 4. Much of many of the component of luck is "inter-twined" between Earth luck and Human luck! 5. This is because human beings are unique. And fortunately or unfortunately, most of us either have to be "swindled" or seem to think that p…

Dear Sophia, I am not to clear whether pumpkin (American slang) is similar to the local use of the term melon. But, if what your friend had displayed, locally in Singapore we call this "pumpkin" melon instead. Some call it golden melon because of it's colour. Usually, much like the mandarin oranges or "kum"; this is the phonetic sound like "Gold" for the Cantonese dialect group. Thus, exchanging a pair of mandarin oranges is like exchanging gold for the Cantonese. Thus, an orange melon also has the look of "gold" and in my opinion, perhaps, more readily associated with the Cantonese. And during the new year period, this melon or pumpkin? has been marketed to sell …

Dear Eng Soon, Generally, often it is best to purchase ready made altars. Most of the time, these altars are made according to Feng Shui measurements. If you have a Feng Shui ruler, most of the time, good altars have both measurements for both Yang (living) and Yin (dead) Feng Shui ruler measurements that match good auspicious measurements within these two zones. Thus, generally, good altar measurements range between:- 15 inches to 17 inches 16 to 27.5 inches 34 to 35.5 inches 41.5 to 23 inches 49.5 to 50.5 inches 57 to 58.5 inches Any of the above can be used for either the Width, Height, Length or Breath of an altar. Dear Alex, Please see below:- Most likely, in my opinion, one (a hobbist) is based on passion! And perhaps this could be part of our passion could be translated to Human or man luck factors. Such as feel satisfied, good factors. While perhaps someone who has been "force" or "told" to place a fish tank perhaps may not have such a passion. Therefore, for collectors or hobbist, I always feel that this is not as important.

  24. Dear Anthony, 1. The fact that we have been using an online analysis, is already a clear indication that a mathematical way to determine the weak and strong throughmathematical calculation. There is no publication of such a mathematical formula from what I know so far. You can always use our online report to assess any person to see if they should be considered weak or strong. http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm 2. There are two ways to go about that once you determined whether you are weak or strong:- a. By default as a weak metal for example, it would naturally mean that you either lack earth or metal, while you have too much of fire an…

Dear Sophia, Look at it this way: millions or billions of people have never ever worshiped Tai Sui. Like yourself and your family, personally, I also have not done so. Nowadays, we read "clever" people putting the notion for us to do so. Frankly, it is so easy for them to tell us to do so. But, often these are marketing ploys. I believe, these "clever" people may not also have done so. We often hear of practitioners who give advise. But often the advise is only a short time e.g. 1 or 2 hours. Horror stories of "cannot use the toilet totally" etc... And the poor owner dare not use the toilet for life! Most of the time we should understand : "You stay there (your home)…
