mirrors opposite the stove is very dangerous as you might get hurt if the mirror is broken due to heat, the refreigerator should not be opposite the stove because of water and fire clash.please check the flying star of the kitchen, it is good to have good stars like 1, 6,8.

Dear Anon, Usually, what you had described is considered under the category of "Commonsense approach" to Feng Shui. This is often considered inauspicious because that there may be a probability or "a higher risk" of landslide. Especially if there is unduly a heavy rain and plus soil erosion. Because of this reason, it is considered inauspicious under Feng Shui. However, if this is not a concern, then, frankly (in general) there is no issue. 4. Dear Anon, For office, of course it will be good to have some window as it will firstly look nice and bright. But even if you do not have the window is fine especially in use as a store or warehouse. In addition, you will have a lack of nice view which can be very good impact on a client especially in a waiting or meeting room area. In addition, there will be no additional entry points for Qi to enter into the office except the main door. Hope that helps. Dear Robert, Thank you for your patience andprecious time in replying which I am most grateful. I am sorry that I did not realise you needed the exact Year and Hour information which I have now obtained for you - 1955 and between 3am-5am. I do understand that EARTH is present thewhole yearround and is especially influential in the 3rd month of every season. What I do not understand is why the Month Pillar branch in the 4-Pillar Chart shows WOODinstead of Earthor Water as the season of birth isWinter (Jan 25 western calendar) and not Spring. Once again thank you very much for your help which is much appreciated. Best Regards,

Dear anon, Why don't you look at the sample of the good houses. It is the flying star chart. It will give you a rough idea of what to expect and then you can do a flying chart of your house and it will tell you the exact location where this star falls in your house and it will tell you how to neutralize it according to your pillar. Good luck!

Dear Lindsay, There are quite a few stores, have unconcealed ceilings `similiar' to what you have described. Overall, it is acceptable to have the beams especially if it is at the display area. This is why the customers walk around and they are not under the beam at prolonged times. However, for the office (or admin office) try to avoid working under the beams. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  11. Started by myfs_102745,

Futher to what I had mentioned, This are the traditional guidelines (note - Not bible, but guidelines):- Usually, the best facing direction of a home is one's Excellent direction. 2nd best facing direction is Prosperity. Even if it is the facing direction, this is equally find nowadays ("desperate people -desperate measure - since it is not so easy to find a house that fits to a T"). Often, for a CEO or Managing Director; a FS practitioner would try to (if possible) orientate his /her table facing these two best "work directions". The other two directions, often, is for the bed placement. But, often, it is still good to face the Excellent or Prosperity directions. …

  12. Dear Anon, 1. It should not be a problem to keep an object in the garden or pond so long as it does not have an open mouth aimed towards the house. 2. An open mouth signifies, hunger. It would cause illness or problems for the household that it faces. 3. Where possible, the object should not be ambigious or unusal shape e.g. like a `monster' or other unknown figurine. 4. Otherwise, it is acceptable. Unless, it is again, the favourite of the four legged friends (who pass urine over it). Warmest Regards, Cecil

  13. Started by trilbee,

Dear Tril, There are several rulesets in Feng Shui. One of the more visible method is: the 33.3 percent ruleset. Here, so long as a sector or location has 33.3 percent of an element, it can be said that this element is dominant at that sector. A good example is let's say a bedroom. If we paint the walls and this cover more than 33.3 percent of the entire wall with blue, then we have `applied' a significant amount of water element. Thus painting a wall or using bedsheet to cover the bed are some of the options. Please see below:- Thus we can use numbers to associate with an element. Thus 6 or Six signifies BIG METAL, then we can use 6 coins to represent BIG METAL as…

Mr. Lee, Many thanks for your prompt reply. I would really like to know more about the "Holy Trinity" of luck - Heaven Luck, Human Luck, and Earth Luck, and will do my homework researching literatures on it. As for my situation, I have thoroughly evaluated every other factor I can think of in a responsible manner. From purely terresterial observation (preliminary business survey, researches, family and friends' support, etc.), it would be a pretty prospective move. I had been contemplating the decision for about four years before I learned yesterday that south west is my wealth direction. Just as in everythingelse in life, however, the higher the payoff the greater the…

Dear Anon, Non-Feng Shui chatter... 1. To be truly honest, in this day and age, the first major consideration is on whether, have you installed an alarm system or if it is, is the system adequate. 2. This is because, as much as we like to use Feng Shui cures, things like #5 x 2 (misfortune sickness) can sometimes be twarted in a home by e.g. the installation of a hepa air cleaner etc.. 3. On the Flying Star Feng Shui 3.1 If the above are adequate, than, yes, it is best to neutralise the frontage with water position and a wind chime. 3.2 This is because, firstly the alternative of flying to Period 8, NW3 does not seem very good also given that P8, NW3 is not a very g…

  16. Started by Tammyle,

Dear Thoa Le, Yes, if the home flies to Period 8 N1, then the water tank can still remain at SE particularly to help drown the MS#2 and WS#5 at this sector and also reduce the effects of the palace (base star) #7 - loss / robbery/theft star. However, please take note that other than having double 8's at the frontage; and good sectors at North-East and East sectors; other sectors do not have very goodflying star numbers under Period 8 N1, you should do a bit more homework to see if some of the bad #'s do not come into other sectors of the home or need to neutralise, them. Thus, flying to Period 8 N1 - needs closer study since it can be a "double-edged" sword.. Warmes…

Dear Master Thanks for you advice. The house is a Period 6 house (built around 1968) and my best direction (prosperity) is north west. The house front faces South east, the back is towards north west and the toilet is in the centre of this north west sector next to the back door. I have been lighting a candle in the toilet and placing water in a wooden bowl inside as well. Will this help? Also, can a iron bell or windchimes help to activate this section of the house for me? I hope you can advise me further. Thanks again. Regards Peter

Dear Respected Sirs, I am finalising the design for a new house, and I am having difficulty interesting the architectin Feng Shui considerations. Attached are two images, the first of the original house design, the second with an alteration to the staircase, amongst other things. The architect said he had been told that a staircase could face the front door directly (which I realise is a very undesirable option) as long as a large statue or water fountain was placed between them. He later agreed to modify the design, and produced a curving staircase as shown in the second attached image. My two questions are: 1. Does the curving staircase solve the problem - ie, i…

Dear Carina, 1. This is only based on the `interpretation' of the Eight House and this is only one of the theories. It would be best also to look at other locations e.g. the bedroom (with this theory). The only `cure' in the Eight House is to avoid spending time at a specific unfavourable sector. For the main door, some resort to `tilting' it. But this has to relate to the findings done under the Flying star. As `tilting' the door, would mean changing the door direction. For changing the direction of the door, it is always best not to D.I.Y. (do it yourself). Usually, this is done in consultation with an FS consultant. 2. Usually the effects are "lessened", if the main …

  23. Dear Anon, In terms of this question, with regards to Grand Duke and sitting direction. If possible, you should avoid sitting facing the West. However, where you have constrain in this, then this Grand Duke issue is the least concerned. There are many concepts but not everything has to be followed depending on priority. Since you have a choice of direction North, then it would be advisable to sit facing North. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

The easiest way to apply flying star is always fix up the 20-year sector because this influence will last the longest as long as the house luck does not change. The yearly luck will come and go each year. So these changes are not absolutely lasting very long. However, a little caution to where the star 5 and 2 which are the two worst stars should be neutralized where possible. …
