I am getting a new house built in a master community. I really don?t like the front door, which is hidden to the far right (there is a walkway to the front door that you can hardly spot easily). What cure would you recommend?

Hi, Before any advise can be given, you must know what are the likely causes for the problems you face:- 1. Health - Though ba zi can help give some idea about whether there will be health issues or not. You should seek professional medical help if you do have issues as they will be better able to help you on this area. 2. Marriage - Again though ba zi again can give some idea on compatibility with two persons. Ultimately, in order for a relationship to work will very much depends on the two persons how willing are both person interested in making the relationship work. Usually, when a person is faced with a series of problems, therecan be several issues that may go w…

Hi Kelvin, Generally, even without looking at feng shui, you can easily tell which area in Singapore are better by looking at where most of the landed properties or high value properties are located. These are often the prime areas in Singapore. Every house or apartment is unique at every location, it isn't right for us to make any form of comments unless a full analysis is done to check on the luck of the house itself. I no matter which location there will be some good and bad units. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Kelvin, Frankly, the luck of a home comes from the Environment. And since the environment is hard to correct. This I must say is ultimately most important. If your surrounding environment is average, then no matter how much you enhance your own four walls (ie flying star) it will only remain average kind of luck. So you are only looking at one aspect of the flying star analysis. Sum of 10 or any other flying star features are only good if they are in the right location where the house can benefit from it. Not having it but having a house with more sectors auspicious in the right location can be better than having a sum of 10 which only say appears at the storeroom se…

Hi Anon, It is hard to advise you what is best to do. But if you ask me, if you don't feel comfortable in an environment, then how are you going to perform your best? At least, this is what can tell from your description so far. It does not seem like you are comfortable at all, ie stress or tense up and worried. All these factors are not going to help you in anyway. If you really do not feel confortable in your environment, maybe you should consider looking for alternative employment (while you continue your work at your current location). Whatever your decision, I think you should first find someway to relax yourself. Only when you are relaxed can you work better, and …

Hi Michelle, Firstly, you should know that Feng Shui isn't a mircle cure for all problems. Especially in your situation here for wanting to have another child. I think here that Medicine Science or taking Herbal Enhancers will give you more hope than relying on Feng Shui. In terms of your second e-mail. To know when would be the best time, that you can check your ba zi luck to see which year is best for you. I can give you a complimentary ba zi analysis which you can look at the 2005/2006/2007 forecast to check which is better. Please e-mail me support@geomancy.net with your member account and I will credit you a fr…

Hi, Basically, for the Eight House, any of the 4 directions are suitable for that person. It does not mean that a West house person must stay in the West house only or a East house person must stay in the East house. The purpose of 4 good and 4 bad directions is to give you a flexibility to choose a home suitable to the breadwinner. Given that a house has to suite the breadwinner first as he is considered the head of the house earning most to sustain the entire family. So as long as the house falls within any of the 4 good direction (ie Excellent, Prosperity, Health or Longevity) it is considered an auspicious home for that period. One note here. West facing homes unfo…

Dear Bridget, The two concepts are different:- 1. Flying star is about the luck of the house, where is the wealth stars, where are the inauspicious stars of the house. This analysis tells you whethera sector is good or not or how much luck you can get from the home itself. 2. Eight House on the other hand is about the suitability of the sector, or best direction. A good sector of the home based on the flying star does not mean it will be suitable to you or not. ie say the bedroom has excellent flying star luck, but if the bedroom sector falls in the North and your Eight House tells you this is Death/Disaster sector. No matter how good the stars of the North sector of t…

Hi Anon, As for the kitchen, the base star is star 6, so the appearance of the star 5 means that an inauspicious star enters into that sector for the year. However, given that there is a Strong Metal influence, this star 5 has less impact on this sector. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Cindy, Firstly, the yearly or annual stars only effect the sector for the current year. Once the year is over the influence will be gone or changed. So I won't be too concern over this star 9 given that it isn't a potentially star to worry about (unlike star 2 or 5). The water feature is good because it will create a five element flow:- 7 - Metal, Fountain - Water, Star 3 Wood. Which makes Metal - Metal - Hello. My eating area has 7 MS, 7 WS & 3 Period Star with the 9 annual. I have a tabletop fountain here but upon analyzing this area, I assumed the 9 fire burns the 3 wood, at the same time the 7 metal also neutralizes the 3 wood. Is the water …

Hi Theresa, Yes, that is correct. If you haven't yet move-in to the house, never bring in old furnitures. New furnitures that are delivered in before the move-in is ok. The moment you bring in old furnitures, that will symbolise that you have move in the house. Thus, move in your old furnitures only after you have selected your auspicious date to move in officially. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, True Feng Shui does not really make use of any feng shui items or products. Feng Shui is all about creating a harmonious environment for everyone to life in. This means like ensuring the surrounding and interior of the home are properly layout, furnitures are arranged for best placement, bed placements, colour scheme etc. Such items does not have any magical effect nor do they come with any warranty that says that once you use it, it will bring you wealth or luck in X days. Feel free to wear or use it if you like the item, but do not expect any mircle from it in terms of Feng Shui point of view. Such items we normally classify as Human Luck factor. If it makes…

Hi Anon, I am not sure how you got the older analysis module loaded even though I disabled it long time ago. It seems that an old link to that is still available and it is analysing the results as it is disabled. As a weak Earth, generally:- 1. Fire and Earth makes you stronger. (Favourable) 2. Wood destroy Earth, so weaken it. (Unfavourable) 3.Since Metal exhaust Earth, it also makes it weak. At the same Metal actually destroy Wood, which weaken Wood. Thus Metal is a double influence. However, to make it simple, Metal by default exhaust an element first before destroying it. As such the first influence comes first. (Unfavourable) 4. Water is your wealth, as a weak …

Dear Dragana, Yes, I do agree with you. It is not wise to convert it to a sewerage tank especially if it is at the front of the home even if it is underground. More importantly, it is also best not to have sewerage pipes running under "living areas" such as under the bed. One can view this article that I had written many years back on the dangers ...http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm In my opinion, keeping it as a water tank would definitely be a better choice Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, To be truly honest, a sports center would need to serve a need for: 1. Easy entry and exits 2. if possible shelter (moveable roofs) to keep rain or harsh sunlight 3. Since there are lots of steps in a stadium, you could follow this guideline on the number of steps:- Introduction: 1. In Feng Shui, there are two traditional methods of determining the number of steps. 2. The first method is a 3 number combination. Where the first two steps are Auspicious but the last step is inauspicious. METHOD 1 - THE THREE-STEP CYCLE ======== 3. Thus under the `Three-steps formula' step No. 1 (Auspicious), Step No. 2 (Inauspicious) while Step No. 3 is considered inauspic…

Dear Anon, If one has both a wet and dry kitchen: 1. Where possible, in both instances, the stove should not also "clash" especially with the wash-basin. 2. Where possible, the stove in the dry kitchen should match the lady of the house's ba zi direction. 3. For the outside kitchen, it would be good if the stove match also Para 2. But not as crucial. 4. For the stove in the wet kitchen or usually "open air" area, it should be kept away from "gusts" of wind. Where possible, both stove must be supported by a solid wall or backing. 5. Avoid placing any of the stove along the NW compass direction of the home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Mike, For everyone, there are will be an Eight House direction and Ba Zi element direction. For some directions, Eight House may say North is Excellent while Ba Zi may be weak Fire so North (Water) is unfavourable. If you encounter such as similiar situation, then North isn't the best overall direction to choose from, compared to say a Health direction with favourable element ie South (for weak fire person). Where two reports tells you it is auspicious, this would be considered the best overal direction. TheBa Zi and Eight House reports can only give you a guide as to which directions are better for you. As to whether or not you can make it, will depend a lot on yo…

Hi Anon, This has been mentioned many times. Suitability is one area which cannot be corrected. You either should avoid it or move to a better direction to completely remove that problem. The other way to reduce the impact is to have more favourable colours (ie your clothing colour etc). This will also improve your luck and thus reduce the inauspicious impact from the suitability issue of the Eight House. Other areas ensure other feng shui flaws in your home are fixed. These will help reduce the impact of the inauspicious work direction. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Ed Gin, No need to be full-height solid platform. Often feng shui is about symbolic objects. As long as you have something which acts as a partition. That will be enough. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, Actually,a house should best fit the breadwinner. If the house fits the breadwinner, it also means that the rest of the family will benefit from the luck of the breadwinner since he earns a living for the entire family. The rest of the family does not need to have the entrance or frontage of the house to fit them individually. As long as, each of the family members have a suitable bedroom in which they draw luck from. So that means that it does not mean that each family member must enter the house using a different entrance (or the entrance that fit them individually). This isn't how this concept should be applied. Feng shui shouldn't be making your life mise…
