General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. 1. In a very highly built-up area in Singapore; many areas or homes and apartments are as you had mentioned literally such homes are next to a religious temple etc... 2. For example; new or old apartments; many are close to a temple: in fact, there is no running away from a "view" of the temple: recent cases such a condo development in Guillemard road, Compassvale Bow (Sengkang), Telok Kurau Road, Serangoon North, Boon Lay, Balestier Roadand more.... 3. These are some of the considerations: 3.1. It is best not to purchase a home directly facing a temple e.g. such as a ground floor or 2nd storey unit with the living …

  2. Hello My wife and I constantly having minor health issues that doesn’t go away and life obstacles and wondering if It is due to a point in a traffic sign directly facing our door. We have put up a 6 rod wind chimes in hope to stopping the bad energy. Is there any other solution other than trying to convince the city planner to move the sign (unlikely it is going to happen) that we can do? Thank you so much in advance Tony Hihee

    1. Further to what I had mentioned, sometimes we tend to look at a picture.. and only see one image. 2. For example, there are many instances where some consider "it" as a missing corner. But instead, a sector should correctly be seen as a protrusion instead. 3. In this case, there is a potential issue called "Sha Qi = poison arrow". 4. The fortunate thing is that there is a huge distance from marking in Purple: C to D. Thus for condos and even lower ceiling HDB's; the distance from any of such "poison arrows" is negligible as the distance is pretty far... 5. Please see attachment.

We have a solid front door, but this opens onto a kind of internal door, which then opens to the main hallway facing the staircase. So basically the portion between the front door and the internal door is like a porch, where we hang coats and so on. I wonder what this means for chi. I remember the front door shouldn’t be facing the staircase, so having the internal door might be a good thing. But is flow of chi blocked by the internal door?

  6. Hi Master, I have a front door with a direct facing room window. Can i block the window with the use of a sliding door with frosted glass? Blue arrow denotes a sliding door with frosted glass. Red arrow is the energy from main door to direct facing window. The wall in the middle has been hacked away by previous owner. Thank you for your advice.

Hi Master, Nowadays Singapore apartments are getting smaller and kitchens are reduced to one single row instead of a conventional kitchen room. Due to the Fire and Water clash where fridge, stove, sink, and washing machine are all so close to each other, I would like to ask what is the ideal kitchen position for each Fire and Water element item. This is how my kitchen looks like now and I am wondering if the second photo would be a better placement for all the kitchen appliances so that there is less Fire and Water clash. Seeking your advice, please. Most appreciated!

Dear Mr Lee, I recently bought a new BTO flat and these days, the blocks are built pretty close and parallel to each other. My neighbour's altar which is in his living room faces directly to my master bedroom. I was told to buy a mirror to 'reflect' it but I'm not sure exactly what this entails. Hope to seek your advice and thank you in advance. Regards, Daniel

I do not have a Feng Shui ruler so I used theFeng ShuiRulerProgram By Wasis Sugionoand the dimensions looks fine. >7. The altar table is for late mom. Since Loupan does not apply in this case. Is there anything else that is suitable for my case?

  15. In this instance, the loft bed is positioned nearer to the window side. The circulation of air towards the head of the bed is influenced by the window openings. A number of modern apartments feature windows that can only be opened from the side. If the window is located on the side of the bed-head, some Asian children may feel uneasy due to strong winds blowing towards their bed. Therefore, it is essential to take into account factors such as window placement, presence of full or partial walls, and location of bedroom doors.

  16. Anonymous wrote: Hope you're doing well. I would like to ask for your advice regarding the placement of my bed on the master's bedroom in the apartment I'm moving into. I read that the bed should not share the same wall as the toilet, nor should it be placed facing the bedroom door nor the bathroom door, which leaves me with a conundrum on where to place my bed. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated! 1. Kindly be advised that the guideline stating that "bed should not share the same wall as the toilet" is not a universal rule. It is only applicable in specific situations as illustrated in the attachment. 2. Your statement regarding the positioning of the b…

  17. Dear Veronica, 1. Regardless of the situation, it is essential for an air conditioner to have the most direct path to two key areas: 1.1. the outdoor compressor unit or the balcony where the compressor is located 1.2. a way to channel condensed water to the nearest bathroom for drainage. 2. Opting for the shortest route is advisable because, over time (typically 2 years or more, depending on usage and environment), the drainage pipes of the air conditioner can become blocked by dust, similar to how arteries can become clogged. 3. A shorter route means less piping required for both the refrigerant gas and drainage. 4. In terms of Feng Shui, it is recommended to…

  18. About Le Cresendo Condominum I recently visited Le Cresendo and captured some images of the church. The majority of the views from the bedrooms or kitchens don't appear to be intimidating... However, this is just my personal opinion. The only issue is that if you ever need to sell the apartment, potential buyers may have the same concerns as your initial doubts. 1. These are some factors to consider: 1.1. If one is worried about living near a temple, church, or similar establishment, others may have the same concerns. 1.2. With property prices on the rise and new developments closer to MRTs, it's important to think about how this will affect resale value. …
