But i have another fortune teller told me this "T" junction is badly affected my family health and suggest me to move out. If there is tree blocking in front, is it helping. Another question is the direction of kitchen is facing east and cooker is facing west which he say this 2 direction should be exchangeeach otherway, what is your say or opinion? I have a bigpole at car porch also blocking in front on mainentrance door( not main gate ), this will help to block the bad thing?

Frankly, in Singapore, many HDB apartments and condos share the same issue! In fact, many newer condos have master bedroom where after placing the "queen-sized" or some can squeeze in a "king sized" bed, and left over is the wardrope area / TV console (or mounted) and some dressing table. And many of these condos also have attached bathroom that is "on the side" of the bed. Is the toilet really so disgusting that we should not have it? In the past, traditional Chinese homes have toilets that are "outside" of the living quarters. But today, it is "scientifically" true that a toilet can be dirty. For example, whenever we "flush" the toilet bowl and worse, if we cover th…

Hi, 1. It is important to remember not to change the Ba Gua during the Hungry Ghost Festival. Off hand, I did not check the calendar but I think for this period i.e. 11 August to 9 September, this is the 7th month or Hungry Ghost Festival. Avoid changing the Ba Gua during this period. 2. To dispose of the faded Ba Gua, one effective way is to wrap it up in old news papers. You should tie it up with a string or rafia or even using scotch tape. This will do. Next, bring it out to the dustbin and throw it away. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Greetings Master Lee, I recently discovered your site and just love it! 1) Regarding a new home purchase, I am wondering what to do about a house we like since the property has good front door frontage for me (SE) but not for my husband. We actually have opposite directions in everything. Wondering if my husband entered the house from the back door (NW) would that correct the problem for him? 2) Also the location of the bedroom is an irritation for one of us is there anyway to remedy a location issue since there are no other bedrooms better for us? 3) What do you recommend regarding the FS steps to purchasing a home? What does a consult cover? …

Yes Master, I agree with your statements, I know many Fukienese in our place which were much, say, laid back than us of Cantonese descent...as they are more versatile in business. The HSBC Tower designed by I.M. Pei, for me isn't really blending with HK skyline...many people protested its construction...say the architects name and the building itself has ominous overtones. I also hear of mirror and ba-gua wars in HK and Guangdong. I also consider myself obsessed with Feng shui, as in taking it literally and with caution. Thanks Master for the time...looking forward to be enlightened again.

Dear Guek Rian, 1. Please note that one should consider: 1.1. Where is the frontage of the house. 1.2. Where is the sitting or back of the house. 2. Water Star(s) should be activated at the frontage of the house or a building. 3. In a tiny bedroom, there is really not much effect of activating water stars. The commonsense approach is that the most effective activation of water stars is e.g. the use of water position e.g. like a Ming Tang or Bright Hall where there is a water position at the frontage of the house. 4. Thus, one is most likely to swallow a sugar coated pill if someone can convience us that a water position can or should be activated in a bedroom. 5. However…

Dear Master Lee, We are currently looking at strata terrace (cluster house) where there is entrance from basement where the car will park and ground floor will be the living room, dining room and kitchen. With that, I believe the main door would be the the glass sliding door at the living room facing the outdoor patio. From the patio, we can see there is an entrance roof to the other development which looks like poison arrow. Seeking your opinion if this is harmful. We are keen with the unit and wanted to see if there is any remedy to this. Many thanks.

Hello and thank you in advance for your time. My wife and I are thinking about building a new home and I feel like I need a better understanding on some of the subtilties of geomancy. First, stairways. Isn't every step potentially a small poison arrow? Can I reduce this using a rounded "nose" on the ledge of my steps? Also, what should I think about "non-full" stairways, where the steps are "floating" and we can see through. Does that prevent the Chi from going up? Second, doorways. How much consideration should be put into addressing the poison arrows coming from corners of doorways? I mean doorways are necessary in some fashion. Could it be that the…

Dear Deepti, 1. In general, this can be considered "inauspicious" based on common sense approach to Feng Shui. 2. The idea, here is because, any home that is lower than it's surroundings e.g. such as roads, may in some instances of heavy rain mean flooding for such "lower" homes. Hopefully there are not only proper drainage but also also, especially for some homes that relies on drainage to rivers (to the mouth of the sea). In many instances, such homes are affected by high tides. 3. Other than this, since no two homes are similar, each home has to be looked at in it's own merits or (Feng Shui merits). Such as where is the facing d…

Hi Master Lee I have read in several places that the SW sector represents the female. If the female resides in a place where the toilet/kitchen/storeroom is in the SW sector, it is supposedly extremely detrimental. 1)does this mean that she should eliminate such a unit when house hunting? 2)does this common belief have any basis at all? 3)are there workable remedies to address it? Would appreciate your views. Thank you.

Hi Cecil, Thanks again for your help with the earlier post about window/sliding door pillars and sha qi. In many places one can find guidance regarding "stairs at the center of the house". In the most obvious case of #8, it's unambiguous that this is the "stairs at the center of the house". What I am unsure about is the remainder of these cases, some of which such as 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 14 are possible to interpret as "stairs at the center of the house", whereas others are more of a stretch to consider as being at the center. note: the black lines are simply to illustrate the centers of each house. I just drew them intersecting through everythi…

Hi Master Cecil Lee, We really need your help. We have a small old house, with kitchen located on the left of the house (entrance written on diagram below), with a very narrow nook at the back. We are not sure which one is the ideal kitchen layout for each water and fire element, in which position is the stove in commanding position? Also if using Option 1, supposedly stove could not face a door, but what if it's fixed window? If using Option 2, the stove is very near to the stair start. Really am seeking for your advice, really appreciate it!

Note appended by Cecil: Please check where the earlier msg was forwarded to:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=54&mid=25076&new= In addition, it wasabout another condo. Please note this is a General Advice forum. Please don't take advantage of the forum by asking more micro-micro questions which is too specific to be of interests to many users. Hi I am really keen on the low floors of block 24 which you advised against. If I do decide to get it, is there any way to counteract against the inauspicious shape of the club house's roof? Please advise. Thanks.

Under this illustration, as mentioned earlier; the main entrance depends on how the architect connects all the stacks into one block.

1. Honestly, as all of us know, for an apartment, there is no way we can relocate a toilet. 2. In previous forum messages, I had mentioned that often it takes more than 3 or more MAJOR"leaks" to make the Feng Shui negative in a home or apartment. 3. Thus, a toilet at the centre of the apartment is considered as just ONE MAJORleak. 4. Therefore, in your case, if you are applying Feng Shui; then make sure that your apartment has no more than 2 or more MAJOR leaks. 5. The most sensible approach or rather common sense approach is to read up the following:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks

Hi there, My wife and I are moving to a new condo soon and wondered about any tips. Attached are the floor plans (up is north) According to the bagua the area of spiritual development is missing, so I am thining how to compensate or energize. I hear we can energize that section in other rooms as well, would we apply the bagua to the entrance of each room? Also, the entry way is opposite large windows on the otherside of the unit. How could we deal with that? I was told I should sleep with head facing west, or east when living at another house. Is that for every house/dwelling? I am born March 1985... My wife i…
