The rationale here is that, it would be considered disrespectful to eat in front of Guan Yin. Imagine the god salivating while one is eating. 2. Yes, we be holding several public and many private talks for organisations and clubs especially in the month of January 2003 on the topic of the Year of Goat 2003. For example, there will be a public talk for Automobile Association Singapore (members/non-members) on the evening of Tuesday, 21 January 2003. Dear Ramaa, In my opinion, every location is a `wealth sector'. And it is important to know what is good or bad at this sector. If one uses Compass School (Flying Star) Feng Shui, each sector has three elements. And depending on a sector and location, we can either try to neutralise a sector (if it has bad stars) or enhance the sector. Dear Joanna, Mirrors are said to reflect qi. In general, usually it is not advisable for the mirror to face directly the bathroom door. The believe here is that it may reflect out what was inside the toilet. More commonly, it is ok to place it at the side of the door. E.g. when one enters the toilet, it is on the right or left side. Dear Donna, Please see below:- Based on your description, it does not seem that your main door is in any direct threat unless:- 1. there are supporting posts or struts or lone lamp posts that slices thru your main door. 2. I believe, there is usually a personal compound at the frontage of your house or main door. Para 1 is the main concern. Dear Ramdev, Firstly, this is a modern commercial invention. However, I personally do not see any harm in hanging it. Usually, (more of a privacy issue); one may hang it inside the door. Dear Flannery, It is best to look at the home from the perspective of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. If distinctively, one of the rooms is `meant' to be the master bedroom e.g. bigger with attached bathroom etc... then, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is preferred that the head of the house (breadwinner) should where possible occupy this room. If there is no distinction between the master bedroom or other bedroom, then, you can sleep in the North-East room. Usually, if your daughter is to occupy the South-East room, then, it is preferred that the room is harmonized with her ba zi. And this is checked with the Flying star of the room. Dear Darlyne, Yes, based on the year of birth 1974 is Tiger Wood. So if you just use a basic Year of Birth Analysis, most will determine you to be a Wood Element. For the many people born in 1974, they will not all belong to Wood element some may be a fire-wood, water-wood etc. So each day provides a different element.
