Under symbolism in Feng Shui; the best way to redress the concern is:- http://forum.geomancy.net/events/CDL_Talk_2/cdl_talk_2_slide_52.htm Usually sorry to add the pun "sane people don't place a partition" between their bed and the bedroom door especially if the bedroom is miserably small. Here, a partition if it is solid (air-tight) would often cause "stagnant qi" area for those sleeping at the "corner" closest to the partition wall. This is more of a concern than what you mentioned although it is equally not so good sounding..

Dear Pam, 1. Actually, by definition, it is not exactly called a home at a T junction but rather a home "exposed-to-the-road-view". 2. Apologies, but it seems that you always seems to come across homes that may have a handicap in Feng Shui. 3. From a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, it is best not to buy a home facing a "straight" road running towards the home and suddenly, there is a turn. This is because, although, "accidents involving traffic is rare" but, there could be a (remote) possibility if some one's driving skill could be detoriated in some way eg. (drunk driving or if one is not familar with this road - nearly snoozing off) could unfortunately drive strai…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Firstly, thanks for the sketch. 2. The bad news is the sketch is so general that I can only provide some guideline:- 2.1 Yoursketch seemsquite close to this article's information:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=26501&new= 2.2 More info.... http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=16667&new= 3. Frankly, there are other factors:- 3.1. Which country is it? Vehicles (Cars) = Right-hand drive or Left-hand drive 3.2. How far is the home is to the road. 3.3. Things like boundary: type of fencing or brick wall / gate? 4. Commonsense:- One got to use commonsen…

Dear Masters, I would like to check if the house circled is considered a T junction house. The road from the T junction is a 2 way road leading to a cul de sac. How's the feng shui for this house? https://www.dropbox.com/s/bj0ytb3bgmzrkp4/Screenshot_20191212_212024.jpg?dl=0 Thanks for your advice in advance

  7. Appended by Cecil : 1. Aerial map : where did you obtain it from? As there is no source and credit on it. 2. Street view: where did you obtain if from? Please respect other people's copyright / intellectual property. We considering purchasing this home we love for a great price - but itseems to be at a T junction. There is very light traffic on the streets and the door is located to the right of the house and faced diagnally to the right. Is this a bad house to buy? Is it possible to use Feng Shui techniques to make this home have positive Chi flow or should we stay away? The address is 2751. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear George, Please see below:- Since, one party is an East group person while the other spouse is a West group person. This seems to be acceptable based soley on the Eight House concept. It is good to hear that the front door does not line up with the door of the opposite house. In general, it is acceptable for your house to be `lower' elevation than the neighbours. But, frankly, I cannot comment more; since I do not have a full picture of the house. Hopefully, the toilet(s) are not at the centrepoint of the house. In GENERAL, with the simple description, I can only provide the above `guarded' comments. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. >The street number is 5…

    1. There are many factors involved in Feng Shui when evalutating of a (new) home. 2. Since it is one of the largest investment that one is likely to make; if you are not sure, then try to get a competent practitioner to evaluate the home for you. 3. Traditionally, the number of the home is "transparent" to Feng Shui. 4. There are many different methods and formulas with regards to whether a house number is auspicious, inauspicious or neutral. 5. And in many instances, the phonetic "sound-like" e.g. Cantonese avoid #4 etc.... can affect the resale value (or marketing) of a home especially in a predominant area with some Chinese. 6. Numbers are a double-edged sword: F…

Dear Cecil My wife and I are in the process of buying a house which is under construction and will be completed by August, 2004. The house faces SE and there is a garage door that faces NE. Back door looks out NW and faces steep up slope. My Kua number is 2 and my wife's 6. Is this house suitable for us? we are worried because the main door is facing SE. We'd really appreciate your thoughts on this. Sincerely Mo Mo

  12. Dear Lip Seong, 1. Sorry to learn about your situation. 2. Your landed property seems to be a terrace "type of home" where qi enters from either North "backyard" area or South "frontage". 3. In general, based on my quick look at your layout plan:- As qi comes into your home from either North or South, unfortunately, under current Period 8, this North sector or the back of your home is influenced by :- MS #7 with WS #7 and Base = #3 In general, Flying star is based on qi flow and unfortunately, there are double #7 which under this current period is "theft-loss of wealth" sector influenced by bad #3 = career / romance / issues 4. Thus, to "plug this leak" coming fro…

Dear Wincash, Please see below:- In the second place, it is good that you advise the inexperience practitioner not to practise looking at dates:) Thirdly, even if one wants to stay in an abandon home; the only rationale I could think of are: 1. A fugitive running away from the law 2. Refugees running away from war 3. A movie company making a film and often, we find the heroes running into abandon homes. What do you think? Often, those who haunt `haunted' houses want to chase humans away from their domain (home). So, why would they want to follow the practitioner home? In the past, or quite recently, I had written about evil people who intentionally "breed" bad spi…

Dear Hoa Luong, This is often quite a "rare" shape. As the back pointed edge would mean that both sides-of-the-fence have quite an odd backyard. Most properties would not be divided with such "backyard". As it would often be level with the property. Is this land for real? Generally, so long as the front is smaller and the back is wider, it can still be of good-Feng Shui. One can always do landscaping such that from top down, the home, if possible should be as rectangular in shape. Hope that the next round, you don't post a circular plot of land. Else, it will be one of the kind that no reasonable, government would sell such a plot..... Warmest Regards, Cecil Hoa Lu…

Hi Master Cecil, Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I have stumbled across a property that I really like, but I have a few concerns. It has good views except part of the view includes a cemetery, which could be seen from the living room and bedroom. Also, I may be wrong but the structure has a pointed edge as could be seen from the windows that could be pointing towards the main door, although as one enters the main door of the unit the first thing they see is the kitchen. If I am not wrong the property also faces southwest, and that will place the kitchen in the northwest direction. I will post the floor plan once I have it. Thanks. …

Dear John, 1. Thanks for sharing with us the information. I have short write-up which I written quite sometime back on this. The URL is at: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/pakua.htm Please see below (my comments):- In my opinion, it is best not to `verify' what was written at another site but rather; I feel that it would be better to bring out two differing camps - the `issues' relating to this subject. And that, in my opinion there are no right or wrong answers. Ultimately, each of us, should form our own opinion. Yes, there are two opposing views: 1. One view is that it can be used to either ward off evil or used against `Sha Qi' or poison arrows. Within this camp, some…

Master Lee, Attached are two photos of a townhomes project. Please advice if the entire project is auspicious. Also, which of the townhomes is lucky? Thanks!

  23. Started by myfs_109092,

Thanks for the photograph. However, as I can't really figure out where is your frontage; and as this is only a side view, the curved bay or lagoon does not seem to have a direct impact from where you had taken the photograph -- as it is quite a distance away. Furthermore, the view is a 2D perspective and does not really show a top down and other details, likeyour plot of land vs this landscape.

  25. Dear Anon, 1. Can you elaborate what you mean by `a poison arrow near the main door'. 2. A poison arrow has to be aimed at the door and not just (missed or) near the main door. 3.The best test is to stand at the main door, looking outside. If the poison arrow does not aim at the main door, it no longer becomes a poison arrow. 4. Depending on the angle or type of poison arrows, I have given advise to use a few different alternative methods: - Either a semi-circular carpet radiating outwards of the main door, - Two plants on both sides of the main door (for e.g. a lone lampost slicing the centrepoint of the house). I called this the `Triangle effect.' These are the two comm…
