Ideally the shapes and form is most importantly for office to face the entrance of the room where people enter into the office. 2. The desk has to be anchored to a wall and not just floating in the center of the room. 3. The room should be your favourable at least even if you face the spook. 4. The window behind may not necessarily be bad depending on the layout of the room. So long as like the desk is anchored. In fact, as you correctly pointed out that in the North picture, there is only 4 circles and dashes. (Or the location with most light coming in) Since this is the frontage or the `entrance' area in such a situation, a grid, with say the main door drawn at the middle can be superimposed on this layout plan. Frankly, in my opinion, I widely consider what you mentioned under a broad term: "Occupational Hazard". For example, drawing a parallel to you. Even we geomancers also may fall into "Occupational Hazards" once in a while. Here, we would bring along our luopan. And once in a while; during our visits; meet a home that is "dirty" or "unclean" (belonging to those of the other kind).
