Dear Carol, We can all appreciate your situation. In a confined space, there is not much one can do to relocate these items. However, this is not the `end of the world' as far as Feng Shui is concerned. In your case, just make sure that there is an `island' or a distance or gap especially between the stove and either the frige or the sink. Try to leave as much gap as possible. But a symbolic gap is still acceptable i.e. for example; 3 or more centimetres. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Houses built between(1984-2003) are considered Period 7 houses. Houses built after 2004 are consdiered Period 8 houses. Usually, you should take theyearwhen the developement is completed and ready for people to stay. So the TOP date is a safe date to use since it is means that the developement is ready for people to stay in. Hope that helps. War…

Does these problems signify bad feng shui ? My neighbour does not encounter much problem with his new house. Does this mean his house is of better feng shui? To be frank, these problems are quite common and all really depends a lot on the quality of the developer of the house. I won't probably push all the problem to the fact that the house has lousy feng shui. Usually if the feng shui is really bad, then there will be other problems such as illness or constant string of other non house related issues etc. If there …

    1. It depends! 2. One critical factor is about size. Some offices are pretty large by itself. But based on your sketch, the office looks puny or small. 3. In addition, another clue is where is the "mouth" of the office. In the sketch, the mouth of the tiny office is within the "mouth" of the retail shop. Thus, since this mainmouth is where qi is suppose to flow intoTHIS premises, then logically for practical reasons; the mouth of the retail shop should be the "first choice". 4. Unless the office MAY have a separateentrance door;and if this door is used as the office's main door.

Dear Hoa Luong, Before one thinks that it is so easy to activate MS#9, please think again as this # cannot work alone. Rather than like many people who make a mistake of enhancing.. one should instead see if there is a leak. If so? Then, fix the leak!, First! There are so many various combinations. It is not possible for me to list out all the combinations. Just a few sample which I can think off: MS#9 with WS#7 For this type of combination (also please take not of the base / palace number. Here, it would be wishful thinking to enhance it. Rather, especially if there is also a #2 or #5 base, jolly well fix the leak e.g. use water element. If MS#9 with WS#3 Since wat…

Dear Cah..., I strongly suggest you go and read or re-read some of my other replies.... Clue: 1. Situational approach: No two situations or "flying star charts are" the same.... 2. Yes, try to be more conversant with the "Five Elements Concept".. 3. In a 20 year flying star chart.. there are more than 1 variable.. e.g. MS# WS# and Base #. 4. Sometimes.. when the cure is "very complicated"..... please check out my very recent posting on "Yin / Yang " concept as the higher food chain of the Five Elements concept..... If so: please evaluate what you have said " In flying star concept, we need water to activate water star and we need wall to activate mountain star, is…

Dear Felicia, Frankly, under Feng Shui (Pillars of Destiny) there is no direct application to improve one's relationship. This is because the closes concepts is based on Pillars of Destiny (Ba Zhi). However, Ba Zhi has an `escape clause' which says that it can map out one's Heaven map e.g. of a person and his/her luck. However, our education, parents influence, our experiences can change our heaven's luck. In my opinion, it is better to use other `educational' techniques or behaviour model e.g. child psychology etc... For now, the closest I believe Pillars of Destiny can help is to do a Pillars of Comparison Chart to find the binding elements of two parties. This module…

Dear Lisa, This is the " tricky " part in Feng Shui. Under the Compass School of Feng Shui especially the Flying Star theory, the traditional method is to find or locate the `exact' compass degree of the main entrance. Once you have determined the exact compass degree, you then relate it to the `birth date' of the house or if a major renovation has been done, relate it to this. Next, a chart based on the `birth date' of the house and the direction of the main entrance door is drawn based on Flying Star calculations. You will notice that the above is the first step. Once all the flying stars have plotted, next you analyse the house based on the locations and any water posi…

We begin to suspect that our "Bazi" ke(crush). We approached a fortune teller and understand from him that our marriage date was not auspicious and has crushed with the "San Niang Sha". Dear Andy, In the past, no one has ever heard of such a thing or even products using the Feng Shui name. For example, nowadays, many are ripping off others by using terms like "Feng Shui jewelery". It's the blackhole effect. What happens is that if we purchase such products, our pocket(s) will have a huge deep dark hole. And mostly, the seller benefits from this sale! For many Chinese, let's imagine or go back to our grand-parent's time or for many, our parents home. There are no such things prior to 1970's as Feng Shui crystals nor is it common place to find three-legged toads. In the past, it is widely common to find more popular stones such as jade and diamonds. But…

  14. Please refer to my most recent reply to your last message. In modern times, with our knowlege of what positive and negative ions can and cannot do. And with the common use of silver nano technology - found in some high end washing machines and even can be found embedded into plastic containers... ain't these a better bet than relying on "older" Feng Shui cures? 1. It depends on what type of "beam" you are referring to. 2. For example, if the "beam" is actually a decorative feature such as a gypsum board ceiling light box "beam" where say the halogen light is mounted in it. And below the bed, it looks like a beam. Then actually this is more of a "cosmetic" than a real beam. Not a major issue in Feng Shui. - Only visually not-appealing. 3. Slanted ceilings are acceptable. Unless it is a full concrete beam. Wooden pillar supports are equally less of an issue. 4. A Chandelier is equally a non issue since it is made up of a string or many strings of glass pieces (diamond look-alike) or crystal glass pieces. In fact, it is equally …

  17. Started by myfs_127953,

    1. Please re-read my previous reply. 2. If you are DIY Feng Shui, then, try to see if you can apply Flying Star Feng Shui. As Flying Star Feng Shui maps out the "birth-chart" of a home. And things like water star #8 is a good location to place a water feature (distinct from whether you are a weak fire or not). If your water position is placed on a water wealth location, then it is fine. (A water position may also be placed at a water star #1, location) 3. In general, from now to 2023, avery good location to activate water position MAY be the South-West sector. Which is in general, known as the "water-wealth-spirit" location of a home. 4. Under Flying Star, what could b…

Dear Aimie, Proper Pillars of Destiny to obtain a person's true element i.e. weak or strong, takes much effort to calculate manually. As mentioned, in earlier postings, time is precious and I concentrate only on helping users to further interpret reports, if necessary available at www.geomancy-online.com Thus, I hope you understand, imagine if I were to do manual calculations, it may take up to two or three days just for one person. Life is short and I feel available time should be used wisely instead. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kaushal, There is no evidence to suggest that it is harmful to keep `junk' especially in the storeroom. However, it would certainly be `nice' if clutter could be cleared (if possible). Thus the above is `secondary'. More important factors in Feng Shui should be considered such as good Shapes and Form etc.. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  21. Started by Chnoa,

Dear Brenda, Yes, a small decorative screen next to the toilet so long as it is sufficent to block the view of the toilet and not the whole bathroom would suffice i.e. OK. For a mirror facing the front door normally this would not be advisable as it would reflect Qi or disperse Qi and may not be that advisable. It also depends on other factors i.e. distance to the door etc... If a mirror has to be used, a sloping mirror (similiar to those found at some shop shops for customers to view a pair of shoes) i.e. sloping would be an alternative where it is not perpenticular to the door. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Seeker, In my opinion, it is best to re-confirm both the centrepoint and compass direction of the house. (Period it was built - Period 7?) Is the house rectangular in shape or otherwise. If you have a layout, perhaps, you can scan it in. Warmest Regards, Cecil

    1. Frankly, the Grand Duke concept should not be treated as "rocket science". 2. It has more to do with:- 2.1. Disturbing the Grand Duke i.e. such as re-painting walls or demolishing walls or renovation of floor tiles at NE (this year) 2.2 If one is nothing disturbing or touching Grand Duke, generally, there is no major concern. For example meditating is a peaceful activity; so where to or how to antagonise Grand Duke? Thus this is not an issue.

    1. Placement of a fish tank can be both (1)scientific &/or (2) based on Yin and Yang concepts; &/or (3) Shapes and Forms and lastly by personal feel or even trial and error Feng Shui. 2. Recently, someone also asked whether their placement is correct. Thus if it purely on a SCIENTIFIC way, then I have mentioned that one has to apply things like Flying Star Feng Shui. Check whether the water star #8 or alternatively the water star #1 is in the "right place". Right place is an appropriate location especially in the living room. 3. Even if the water star e.g. WS#8 is located in a bedroom, many would feed awkward having a fish tank with fishes looking at you when y…
