Dear Susan, 1. In Traditional Feng Shui, in certain homes, that has been analysed using the Flying Star Chart, there may be specific combination of mountain star and water star which is based on the 81 interpretations that has reference to `legal' problems. 2. There is also one of the base numbers associated with it. 3. As Feng Shui is based on a holistic approach usually, a good FS practitioner would help one to maximise one's Earth Luck i.e. Feng Shui of the home. There are other factors or variables which include one's Ba Zhi or Pillars of Destiny involved. Here one tries to map out one's Heaven Luck and by understanding issues like our element and strength and luck p…

Dear Cleo, Flying Star Feng Shui can help to detect sectors with imbalances. In your case, if the sector identified has Lawsuits and some gossips involved, then it is prudent to neutralise this specific sector with a neutralising element. In such a case, `big metal' or six coins (controlled by red string) for example is used to neutralise such bad element e.g. #4 (lawsuits and gossips). Remember that this is distinct from your personal element e.g. Strong metal. The purpose here, is the home Feng Shui. Where, be it a strong or weak metal or other elements e.g. strong/weak fire, wood, water or earth. Here, if there are imbalances and especially in your bedroom. In order…

Dear Master Cecil, Attached is the layout plan of the 2 story link house. I plotted the plan according to scale. All overhead beams are plotted. i find that there are missing corners, (if this is consider a missing corner). I have the center of the house but how to fit the grids since I have a missing corner? If I do have an open living hall which is huge, can it be considered 3 grids? Please verify if I have them correct. Thank you, Janice

Here is the second floorplan in question. As you see, in this image the flying stars are brought straight up from the second floorplan. But if the get 'squeezed' to fit the second floor then things change dramatically - placing the 2-5 combo in the bathroom/closet area instead of the bedroom which may be more suitable for my girls. Thank you,

Dear Jen, When dealing with such questions, it is preferred that you provide a sketch. It need not be to scale but at least, should show this area in relation to the roughly the distance from the main door, whether the wall covers the entire main door or covers partially with a void. I feel that it would not be right to answer this question without a proper perspective. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Vijay, It would be great if all leaks can be penned down in one forum message. But, this is impossible to do. We have actually, made available, free resources within this site and this forum. You can always try to look at the specific forum conferences e.g. Photo tours with interests, Singapore Property etc... Alternatively, note down which topics interest you, and use the SEARCH feature under this forum to find out more. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sophia, Symbolically under Feng Shui, it is good like you mention to rectify such "physical" leaks in the shop. Usually, if you have rented your shop, you should try to seek redress from your leassor. Since the shop is still new, try to check out who is the developer as often such building defects is covered by the developer. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello, I believe the universe is sending me a message and I was hoping you could help me interpret it. I was born in the February 13,1970 and my boyfriend who I just married 2 weeks ago was born November 21, 1966. I am not sure if that information is relavant... Much Thanks in Advance.

A row of bush rather than a partition of trees would be a better choice. If you are using trees, they usually end up growing tall and `beyond control' after 3 to 4 years. And a row of trees need to be planted spaced out at least 2 to 3 feet from each other. Depending on the type of tree, they often leave behind a huge area of shadow below the tree making the area, too yin. Contrast this with lower shrubs or bushes or simply, creepers on fencing which are much easier to maintain. Since the water tanks are covered up often this is no longer a major issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Chee Tiong, Please see below:- In my opinion, nowadays, you will definitely not have difficulty purchasing books related to " Shapes and Form " Feng Shui as they are a plenty. Majority of the books (there are so many of them) should help to understand on the site and the buidling or home. And on interior placement. Step 1: Find out the aim and purpose of each concept/idea. Step 2: What is it's strength Step 3: What is it's weakness Frankly, even today, whenever, I answer or try to visualise the various concepts; I always think of these three steps. To see if which concept or idea can relate to most of us. Furthermore, in Feng Shui, there are so many concepts …

1. As mentioned, previously, no two homes or apartments are similar. Have a client who had moved in around the TOP period (2006). In fact, last year, they are looking at bigger premises - landed property. Thus, I believe that in general, some of the owners of units are doing well. 2. In the past, early 1960's I used to follow my dad to the Singapore Gun Club where he is a member, there. Quote: One of the empty units is facing rifle range road, where there is a cluster of about 4 semi-d terraces with big round window features. I remembered from a tv programme, these windows are akin to having "eyes" looking directly at you all the time and may not be good in a fengshui…

Dear Riccia, 1. To increase the wealth factor, and depending on the flying star chart, a water position,(if appropriate) can help to redress this imbalance. 2. But in-order to be effective, the flying star chart for the specific period (or) if the next period's chart is significantly better, than, one should try to fly into the next period. 3. For example, for many homes under Period 8, where there are: 4. #5 or #2 or a combination of these at the main door - should check out the next flying star period to see if it is more beneficial to `fly' to the other period. 5. Rather than, doing mediocre enhancement or trying to squezze out more than what the current chart cannot …

Hello Cecil & Robert, A close relative was involved in a legal case. She has placed this thing (urine in bottle) behind her bedroom door to fight against legal cases. She got this advice from some Taiwan feng shui TV program. The thing seems to be working really fantastic as her case is winning and going very smoothly for her. However, the Taiwan feng shui TV program also mentioned that though it will help on the particular person's legal case, the thing will also cause trouble/legal issues for other family members. After she placed that thing, we had 2 legal cases on our back. We never had such issues before. We have tried to ask her to bring it down. But she refused…

Dear Rosemary, Please write privately to support@geomancy.net especially so that we can credit you with the Pillars of Destiny (new yearly report) to help you further understand what is in store for this year. In particular, do pay attention to the Luck period whether it is auspicious or not. If not, there is an advise on which element you can use. If you require further advise after you have generated the report, please let us know. As currently, given that you are a strong wood person; without reference to the current luck period - it is a difficult to give you a more exact advice. I am not sure if you have the Paid Flying Star report. If not, we would credit you with …

Anonymous wrote: 1. In view of fengshui, what advice would you have for sleeping direction with the leg facing a bay window? Is there any concern as we intend to have the room set up for the parents who are in their old age. 1. It depends. For many developments the bay windows have a half wall and above this is the bay window. In such a situation, there is no issue or concern. 2. However, if the entire bay window and the lower portion is made of glass; then if symbolically, if one's legs face this window; it is considered inauspicious:- 2.1. This is the coffin position when legs face an "opening" 2.2. Commonsense: usually lower part of the body is "exposed" thru the…

Hi Master Cecil I saw the above picture in one your reply. You mentioned that the length is 41cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm or 71cm or 89cm or 107cm or 148cm. Is this the length of the whole altar from one end to another end? If yes, and using 107cm as example, what measurement to use for ancestor table and chinese god? If the measurement is for the ancestor tablet and the chinse god tablet respectively, then can we use a combination of say 41cm for ancestor table and 59.5cm for chinese god? Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Dear Anon, In general, there are basically `two' screen "formats". The purpose would depend on whether one is `inviting' beneficial Qi into the house or to `screen' away sha qi such as facing a toilet door. 1. If it is to screen from a toilet door, it must cover the height of the toilet door. 2. It is to be `air tight' e.g. no holes or ventilation planes. 3. It should go down towards the floor. If a screen is used for beneficical purposes e.g. to let the qi gently flow into the house: 1. It need not be `air tight'. 2. It need not be all the way up to the ceiling or up to a specific height. It can be of `low' height is acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil
