Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Started by myfs_84897,

Mr. Lee, I ama little concerned about a move my co-workers are about to do. I work with 2 other people in one office. Right now, I am facing my prosperity direction (NW) and great things have happened since I've been in this office. Now we are moving to another office and I've been designated to sit at a desk that faces south - my bad direction. What can I do? If I move the desk so it faces the door, I would be facing East - the worst direction (death), so I have to face south, but the door would be on my left. I've already asked if I can move to the desk that faces NW, but the guy doesn't want to give it up. Is there anything I can do to make this better? Thanks, Valer…

Hello Master Lee, We are moving into a new home in June and also starting new careers - both me and my husband. Both ourKua no. are 4 Our main bedroom lies in the eastern section of the housewith the rooms doorwaynorth. On the nothern wall of the room there are built in cupboards and on the east and southern walls windows - That leaves me with the west wall to place my bed. Yet the door opens right onto the bed! Should I rather place the bed on the eastern wall andhang a crystal, or keep the window closed with curtains? I have two rooms in the SW section which I want to change into a daycare for children - yet all flying star matters on the internet advise against it?…

Dear Chung Mi, 1. In the past, I have mentioned about the idea of mirrors in the bedroom and the concept of: "How sensitive (thicked-skinned) are each of us?" 2. The "mirror" example: 2.1 Many of us have different tolerance levels. Often, we do hear of many persons who can literally sleep with lots of mirrors in their bedroom e.g. on the entire cupboards etc... And, these people, can really sleep "like a pig!". 2.3 But, we hear of the fantasy story ofa princess, who despite placing a single needle under her mattress, and stacking up many mattress, she can "feel" the needle. 2.4 So how sensitive are you? 2.5 Unfortunately, nowadays, our sensitivity (I suspect) has to…

Help. When you enter the doorway of my bedroom the wall directly across from the doorway has two windows on each side, the wall facing right has two doorways; one goes into the bathroom and the other goes into a closet. The space in between the windows and doorways are ample enough to fit a queen/king-size bed. But, would this be a auspicous placement for the bed. The wall directly to the left of the door entry is a full wall, so is the wall with the entry door. Where can I place the bed?

  10. Dear Yum Chinn, 6. Here, the key understanding is: the parallel of an examination: 6.1 Many of us had in one way or other done an examination paper requiring us to Answer 4 compulsory questions. 6.2 Here, the concept is all about "maximising all our marks". If 4 compulsory questions have to be answered and if the total marks = 100 percent, then each question carries 25 marks. 6.3 In an examintion technique, it stands to reason, it we should not only answer 3 questions, but if the paper is 2 hours paper, then we should rigidly allocation 30 minutes for each question. 6.4 Often, we hear teaching saying that even if we answer three questions, but leave out the 4t…

Dear Vincent, In my opinion, since you are so interested in Flying Star Feng Shui, it is best to learn (study) or take up a course on Flying Star Feng Shui. This is because, in order to answer your question takes much time and duplication of resources. For the enhancement of Step 3: What are it's weakness. I am very sure or confident that if you do find out the Water or Mountain star based on such a guideline, you will be better off in your quest for knowledge. Clue: It would be naive to only activate either Water or Mountain star. But what is more important is(are) does the location fit the criteria for activating a water or mountain star. For example, if a m…

Futher to what I had mentioned, This are the traditional guidelines (note - Not bible, but guidelines):- Usually, the best facing direction of a home is one's Excellent direction. 2nd best facing direction is Prosperity. Even if it is the facing direction, this is equally find nowadays ("desperate people -desperate measure - since it is not so easy to find a house that fits to a T"). Often, for a CEO or Managing Director; a FS practitioner would try to (if possible) orientate his /her table facing these two best "work directions". The other two directions, often, is for the bed placement. But, often, it is still good to face the Excellent or Prosperity directions. …

Salutation Master cecil, I am very new to the Feg shui arena and would like to seek your advice on the following . I am working in a large organisation and happen to travel a lot . I am also studying for a competetive examination and my travel affects my study . As advised by the report, I have shifted my study position to North West . However, the NW corner overlooks a huge balcony and a window. Is this a right position to study . Also there is a toilet on the SW side of the room . Given the above conditions is NW still my best study direction . Or I should look at some other directions. Also, since I travel a lot can studying in a suitable position increase the…

Dear Paris, Parc Oasis Site Plan 1. In my opinion, if the price is right, it may be considered. 2. From a Feng Shui point of view, these are "point" block units and relatively safe design. Majority of the units also has its main door coming into a "display" wall area - and not directly facing the window area. 3. Of course, the most attractive reason is due to it's close proxmity to the MRT (walking distance). And it is at the cross-road towards the start of PIE from Jurong Town Hall / and convenience to the business park as well as close proximity to IMM. A more popular or direct route would be to the ever busy or one of the busiest round-…

Dear Anon, Often, one can look at the Tung Shu to find out a general date for move-in. Most of the time, a very general date is the 1st lunar and/or the 15th lunar month of any months other than Qing Ming or the 7th month. As for the auspicious date under Geomancy.net, these are paid report(s) and not free. The report considers both clashes in the Tung Shu and individualised to the breadwinner. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  19. Dear Anon, If you have the time, please check out my most recent reply (today) i.e. Part I and Part II - Facing direction of House I strongly believe that the above two write-ups will offer a good guideline as to the rationale for the facing direction and what to look out for a facing - direction. In your case, based on your limited information, it would seem that the facing direction should be North as opposed to NW (main door direction). Do check out the above information. I am sure, one can have a better understanding what to look out for. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  22. Dear Andrea, To correctly apply Feng Shui, this involves a holistic approach. And the key elements of the holistic approach is the Shapes and Forms (external, interior) as well as the placement and another critical factor is the birth-chart-of-the home. Such as also using the Compass School reading of the interior of the home. Unfortunately, much of what you had given is piecemeal. And it is anyone's guess as to what are the real "leaks-in-the-home" right now. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Robert, A homeless would often also need to have a place of rest or sleep. The greatest influence on a homeless has more to do with his immediate surroundings or the Feng Shui of his surroundings. The first basic premise of Feng Shui is that a shelter should be away from the rain or if possible higher (in case of flooding) etc.. Other than the above, man or human factors would feature more prominently in his/her life. This may be his/her motivation or non-motivation in life, physical and mental strength to take this kind of life. Hopefully, the next question asked will not be: How can Feng Shui affect an alien (or ET). Hmm.... let's hope no one posts such a ques…

Dear Ana, 1. Welcome to the understanding of Feng Shui! 2. This is because, in my opinion, Feng Shui is all about understanding rather than "what we see is what we get". 3. About Doctors and would be doctors 4. Several years back, I remembered, distinctively a doctor who started learning or rather practising Feng Shui. 5. Here, although doctors are smart, but, sometimes, every human being(s) are gullible or simple feel that what they read are "real" and can be directly applied. 6. Perhaps, we all canquite understand that doctors or would be doctors have always picked up a book e.g. an anatomy book, and if the book says the heart has 2 values, 3 major veins etc.. Th…
