Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Good Day Shifu My kitchen is located at south. Can i activate this sector? If not, which sector can i activate? I understand that activate south sector is good for career. Thank you in advance. If the South is a good sector and it falls in your office/room then probably you can activate the sector for the career. However, if it is your kitchen, then how to activate it even if it is good for your career when you can't use it? So you probably have to activate other sectors that you are able to activate. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

    1. In my opinion, it boils down to those who are ultra conservative vs "Is there an issue, here?" sort of thing. 2. Frankly, how often have one recall a boss or fellow worker changing work directions annually. 3. In essence, these are often the same kind of Geomancers, that may even tell us: don't ever use that toilet. 4.The irony is that many such Geomancers, would most likely sit and work in the same direction, year after year! Yet, have the cheek to tell others to do something, they themselves don't apply! 5. You stay there, we don't! 6. What is not mentioned not often over-looked is the fact that if one does major renovations and or going for a major cause e.g. goin…

Dear Krisztina, Since you mentioned hat you flat-share; within your room, yes; you can still do a "little" of Feng Shui. There are two approaches and both can be combined together:- 1. Eight House Compass School Feng Shui Try to determine whether you are either an East or West Group person. If not sure, can use the free tools provided under http://www.geomancy-online.com It is recommended that you should generate the best bed-head direction and best work/study table direction charts. And if possible, invest in a small compass. Once youhave all these, you can then try to see whether you can position your bed / study in the best possible directions (not withstanding t…

You wrote: "We have decided to sell this house and go to a new house, due to the above issues and my son has no friends in the current location.what do you suggest? Do you suggest me to sell this house and go to some other house ?" We have to be equally logical about it. The rationale is because, there is no other alternative home to compare with. If the new home turns out well; then it is good. But, what happens if the new (be it new or resale) home has "equal" or worst issues than this? Thus, as it is; this is no other comparison between your existing home vs some other home(s).

  5. Hi Master Cecil I saw the above picture in one your reply. You mentioned that the length is 41cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm or 71cm or 89cm or 107cm or 148cm. Is this the length of the whole altar from one end to another end? If yes, and using 107cm as example, what measurement to use for ancestor table and chinese god? If the measurement is for the ancestor tablet and the chinse god tablet respectively, then can we use a combination of say 41cm for ancestor table and 59.5cm for chinese god? Appreciate your thoughts on this.

The house must first suit the breadwinner so that he can get the luck from the house. The spouse can then get a more suitable bedroom so that she can get the better luck from the bedroom. As mentioned, if you are the breadwinner, then this may not be the most advisable house at least from the suitability perspective.…

Dear Kathleen, 1. Frankly, Feng Shui is never meant to be used as a marketing tool. 2. The only think that Feng Shui can help is that if the house has good Feng Shui attributes, and if the buyer can be `convinced' that it has good Feng Shui for them, this would be an added advantage. 3. Some Feng Shui practitioners who use basic or elementary Feng Shui, would suggest one paint the main door Red or pink. To them, they feel that it would hasten the sale of the house. In my opinion, there is no proof that it would work. Worse, as the first impression counts, a red or pink door may even be a turn off for some people. (The rational for pink or red is the belief that red or pi…

Dear Tervino, 1. Eight Aspirations or Eight Associations or Life Associations. It is based on the interpretation of each of the STATIC Kua trigrams into e.g. SW - Romance sector etc... This is similar to the `Black Hat Sect's ' use of STATIC templates. 2. I mentioned in earlier forum messages that the Eight Associations or Life Associations are too generalised to be of any effect in Feng Shui. For example, in earlier messages, I mentioned that if three of us are trying to `woo' a girl. And if we understand the Eight Association concept clearly, we need to ENHANCE our SW sector. Given some imagination, each of us would try to enhance this sector. Perhaps, the three of us h…

Dear Chai, In general, without taking into consideration other factors such as the current `Luck Pillar season' and other factors e.g. the House Feng Shui in relation to the Flying Star of a sector:- For a weak metal person, for personal self-enhancement, the best element is Earth element. The second best element is Metal element. Earth colour - yellow. Metal colour - gold or white. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  10. 1. Frankly, such assessments need to take into consideration many considerations inclusive of the compass direction(s). 2. For the twin identical towers, since they are symmetrical, considerations like: location of kitchen, toilet, bedroom etcs have to considered etc..

Dear Chee Tiong, Please see below:- In my opinion, nowadays, you will definitely not have difficulty purchasing books related to " Shapes and Form " Feng Shui as they are a plenty. Majority of the books (there are so many of them) should help to understand on the site and the buidling or home. And on interior placement. Step 1: Find out the aim and purpose of each concept/idea. Step 2: What is it's strength Step 3: What is it's weakness Frankly, even today, whenever, I answer or try to visualise the various concepts; I always think of these three steps. To see if which concept or idea can relate to most of us. Furthermore, in Feng Shui, there are so many concepts …

  15. Dear Anon, 1. As all of us is aware, there are lots of practititioners and their skill level and methods used. 2. As you have not mentioned whether the practititioners used the following theories: a. Shapes and Form School To access both the interior and exterior of the home. b. Flying Star Chart This is to analyse the birth chart of the house and check for imbalances and Qi enhancements (e.g. activating mountain or water stars). c. Relate the above to the Eight House (Suitablity of the house and the influence of bedroom) d. Pillars of Destiny To obtain the true element and strength and to check the season of influence. 3. Dear Chris, Priority should be given to sleeping in a good sector. Only after this is taken care, then it would be nice or a bonus to sleep with the head facing a good direction. If one is unable to sleep in a good sector, the `consolation' is to sleep facing a good direction. BUT, all these should be taken into consideration only after one has considered the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. For example, it is best not to sleep on the same wall as the toilet bowl even if it is one of our good or excellent sectors. Feng Shui is a holistic approach and the bedroom should not be considered in isolation. It is more important to`fix' any problems associated in the house t…

  19. Dear Hoa Luong, No, (no) - Ba Gua mirrors must not be used indoors. Never in one's own home. At staircase landings, one MAY place a mirror e.g. flat rectangular (normal type) mirror here. This is NOT COMPULSORY. One must NEVER place Ba Gua mirrors within the home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  21. Dear Phei Shen, In my opinion, it would not be advisable to use a mirror for the situation you had mentioned: 1. Mirrors break easily and it would be far worse if it shatters and land downwards especially on a person's face or body. 2. If it becomes to concealed, i.e. pipes etc.. there is no way of knowing that there are small leaks which may turn for the worse. 3. If one uses a false ceiling, it has to completely cover the area rather than turning it into a `beam' effect. Thus, it may not be that good idea to use the `mirror'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sophia, Generally, (or very generally), yes, south represents the fire element. To side-track-a-little: And in quite alot of past forum messages, I mentioned that for a kitchen at the south, it is acceptable to have the stove face a water position. This would not be ideal -- if the kitchen is located at the north. (water location). 2. Generally speaking, wood cabinets are in harmony with the kitchen since it has fire (stove) and wood element fuels fire (stove) - in a productive cycle. You can also read up an article, I wrote for the Home Concepts magazine - the article has been extracted to the forum. Do a search perhaps for "home concept" or "home concepts"…

    1. South is the three killings sector thus avoid any renovations within this sector. 2. If this (South) or any other sectors have; for example flying star numbers like: MS#3 with WS#4 and Base #9, then it would be best to keep that sector "quiet". Thus if one's home and that sector has this then if we need to implement a cure, try not to use "noisy metal like wind chimes etc..." 3. Thus, it is fool-hardy to try to arrange the TV console area each year! Does not make any sense. Especially nowadays, many homes have a feature wall and some even have their TV sets "nailed" to the wall. 4. Thus, if we have fixed our TV sets or unmoveable console, it does not make sense to m…
