  2. Under the productive sequence under the Five Elements concept; Please see attached illustration. It is more "potent" to use wood to fuel fire vs just adding fire to fire. Although both are good for a weak fire person. Wood would be considered a "top choice" or first choice - if possible.

    1. In my opinion, you have to weigh what I had mentioned earlier, such as:- 1.1. Sitting and Facing direction of stove to the female "boss" of the home 1.2. Sector in which the stove is in. 1.3. And other points that I had mentioned earlier on. 2. Traditionally, in the past, often the sink would "sit" higher than the stove. For example, the height of the stove is often at 34 inches while the sink is higher or greater than 34 inches to not more than 35 inches. This will coincide with the auspicious measurements found on the Feng Shui ruler. 3. However, in modern times (especially) in Singapore, where there are already more than 2,000 condos x at least 200 units on avera…

These are some of the considerations: 1. Frankly, one has to see beyond the "bedroom corner" and the main door. 2. For example, there is a difference between (see attachment) Layout A or Layout B. 3. If your home is "Layout A"; where the bedroom door does not directly face the main door: see attachment: Markings A or A1 ; or the door bedroom door could be at the other side; then the considerations are different from that of Layout B. 4. If assuming your Layout is A; sometimes it may be a blessing in disguise if there are some openings at BLUE marking "C". Just close your eyes and imagine... if you shift your main door to the right and if one opens window(s) frequently; th…

Dear K.roll, If you had bothered to do some searching in the forum, you will find that this question has been replied many many times. This forum has an archive of over 9 years worth of knowledge. I hope that all other users reading this post, will also do the same. This can save lots of our valuable time in replying post rather than to repeat replying a similiar answer each and every time. 1. In my opinion; other than the colour and colour-tones in your illustration; 2. No. THREE would have the least "adverse" comments. 3. As I had mentioned previously, often in many situations; it has more to do with people's taste and how much adverse comments (if any). 4. Technically, no. will often not have any adverse comments. 5. The most subjective would therefore be no. ONE. 6. Again, there is no right or wrong answers, here.

These are some considerations: 1. Sun rays 1.1. Ideally, in an East / West direction; avoid the altar "soaked" in direct sunlight. 1.2. Thus if there is direct sunlight that shines and heat up the altar say from 7.30am to 10.30 or even 11 plus depending on the location it is placed, then there should be a blind or screen or curtains to shield the altar from direct sunlight.. 1.3. The above is more so, if the altar faces or has part of it soaked by the afternoon sun. It is not like you can go and buy a rayban sunglass for e.g. Guan Yin. 2. Ideally, the altar should not share the same wall as the toilet and also avoid having it face the bedrooms etc.. 3. Both in the Indian…

Please note that for Geomancy.net and all it's various calculators; for user convenience; all your inputs of any dates of birth should be western date of births. Our system will automatically convert all dates of births into the Lunar dates. This is because many people, even many younger Chinese do not know their exact lunar birth-dates.

In general, if a road curves into a stack (within a block of flats); often the lower unit(s) especially 1st or 2nd storey may be affected by sha qi. Depending on the type of curve and how fast cars "flows" or moves at that spot. In addition, it also depends on the country. Some countries are R-hand drive. In this photo; the yellow lines shows the movement direction of the vehicles. (A R-hand drive country like SGP).

Dear Iz, Thank you for your words of encouragements. Presently, Feng Shui is no longer so mysterious. Sometimes, I go abit far to `warn users' not to go excessively into Feng Shui. Well sometimes this is human nature. For example, say someone pick up a book on Feng Shui and after reading between the lines, find that an author says that wind chimes are good. Here, the `catalyst' begins. Each of us mean well for our family and instead of purchasing one wind chime, may tend to purchase more. If one is purchasing only one wind chime, the chances of getting it placed at a Flying Star inauspicious location is not as great as one buying 5 wind chimes and as there are 8 sectors, …

Dear Nansi, The key to understanding this is based on the following:- Grand Duke does not like to be:- 1. Disturbed. Here one should not do construction work at the location. This includes repairs and renovations. 2. Touched. Here, this would imply that painting is consider `touching' him. So, based on the second point, please don't paint the walls on the East. Similar concern:- New home and "Do we need to take note of anything due to my wife pregnancy?" Reply:- 1. Based on general Chinese customs; to avoid moving the existing bed of conception. 2. If you need to move the bed, Mrs must not see the move and later, should not visit the bedroom and see that it is moved. 2.1 The above is the most important Chinese consideration. 3. Thus visiting the new home to collect keys etc.. is a non issue. But, once a while some parents tell their daughter in law cannot do so. etc.. But this is more of the conservative side. 2.2 Also do check with parents. As some parents have additional taboos if any. As different elders have different con…

I can understand if a small picture frame or some other decorative displays are placed on the table. Otherwise, a study table should be `clear of such things'. Nor…

  25. Dear Jody, I feel that currently, because of the small size of the tree, it will not pose too much of a `threat' to the house. At this stage of growth (of the tree), you may seriously want to consider, replanting it away from your main entrance area as it will one day bound to grow bigger. Although it is not a `threat' today, but it will be one day. When it grows taller, and if you do not decide to re-plant it, then I suggest, you may have to consider a `cure'. For example, placing a semi-circular carpet at the main entrance door area radiating outwards.
