Hi master, we are considering a home and have learnt about the importance of Southwest corner for female of the house. We recently visited a house and love everything about it, except that we noticed a missing corner at southwest of the home (near door entrance). Seeking your advice if we should be concerned about it or there are remedies we could take? Thank you

Dear Elizabeth, Usually, in most cases, the incidence of cancer may be associated with under water courses (hidden) below the ground. Check out this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/under.htm Usually hanging crystals may not be a good solution. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sharon, The thing here is that there is no home that is mobile in the past, as such there is no specific feng shui analysis that you can really use for this. In such a mobile home, probably the application of making it comfortable and practical to stay in would be more important. The only few areas you can apply any feng shui concept would then only be either:- 1.To face the entire home in a certain direction when you "park" ie facing north - Prosperity. 2. Or apply the Ba Zi element ie North - Water element, etc. 3. The rest should be more like colour scheme of the interior and exterior should be suitable to you. Otherwise, nothing much else you can do. Ho…

  9. Appended by Cecil: A photo tells a thousand words. Text and more text... hmmm.. The opening (walking into the cube) is not in direct line of hallway/clear glass conference room. Is the opening we want to refer to in Feng Shui the one we step through into the space? The hall and the clear glass conference room hits the side of my face (partially blocked by cube wall/ computer monitor).

You definitely want to consult someone familiar with east asian medicine and qi flow in the body. A specialist can tell you whether or not it's something to worry about and based on the location, if there is a problem, tell you what's wrong. It's written that if it is a problematic black spot it means "stagnation of qi, degeneration of organ, or stagnancy due to an old injury."(Yang, 1998)

Dear Anon, In my opinion, it more to do with either: a. "old folks-tale" and /or b. may affect some of us psychologically. c. health wise a. Old folks-tale Many of us would find it reasonable to hear old tales or belief that carring a mole at the back of our body is considered like "carrying" a burden. Sounds resonable, rite? b. Psychology or feel-good-feel-bad Small things like these may affect some people's confidence level and affect their mind-health c. Health reasons Hopefully not but sometimes they could be cancerous or start of a tumour Frankly, there is no right or wrong in this case. Any one of the above could be reasons why we may consider removing th…

Dear Anthea, Yes, under the fortune telling analysis, Moles on Face is one form of analysis:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-face.htm In our website, we all along do not emphase on fortune telling portions for even ba zi. This is because, we believe that a lot of such fortune telling if any only create fears for people. And it will create this self-fullfilling concept. Where a person believes so much in the negative prediction, that you actually make it happen. Frankly, any form of even cosmetic surgery (how small), carries a risk of danger. So is it really worth the while to do so? The best way is to try to be in harmony with your envrionment, by kno…

Dear Rachel, Frankly, there is not much material (if any) with regards to moles on the foot. The only "interesting" ones are those where the moles form a formation, similar to those of the stella constelation. But very (very) rare. And, perhaps, found only in story lines in some Chinese shows. From a commonsense approach, if your mole is flat (and not protruding), then, there is relatively no harm. But if it becomes thick and hard, then, it is best to be removed as it could affect the sole (which bears) the weight of our body. From a symbolic point of view, if one has a mole on one's feet (foot) it is symbolic of carrying a burden with us. For example, some Chinese feel …

Dear Anon, First, the good news is that the moles mentioned under the illustration at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/face.htm usually refers to `significance' of inauspicious moles. Thus the `good news' is that any other positions are either considered neutral or if wants one to consider acceptable locations. Frankly, I have researched further on the mole you mentioned, yet. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, The link can be found here: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-face.htm In fact, other than to see a doctor; some people managed to use a strand of their hair and tie a knot to `kill' or starve the mole. And often, it drops off after a few days. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Linda, 1. For those who have not seen the write-up, it is at: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/face.htm 2. Face reading is an `intergral part' of Geomancy. 3. Looks like most of the moles mentioned are `inauspicious'. 4. Yes, it is my personal belief that removing the moles would invariably change the `fortune' of a person. It is only my opinion. However, I am not sure if there are any scars if if any on the face. Thus, I hope, you understand that I cannot be held responsbile for such an advise. 5. I remembered that some people have a novel way of removing their moles i.e. use one's hair thread and tie a nose and a knot around the mole using the piece of hair. Let the mole…

Dear Karen, Studies such as those done by NASA, has shown that having a plant indoors can be beneifical to a home. Recently, I had posted a link in this forum to a Honeywell Site - which also has some resources on having a plant indoors - and that some plants are more effective than others in `cleansing' the air in a home. In my opinion, I personally think that there are two reasons why some people do not like having a money plant indoors i.e. home or office:- Reason 1: Some of us just use a glass plant container, add rocks, to `secure' the roots of the money plant. And simply pour water to this container. As many of us know, this is an easy option, as we do not need to …

Money Plant has to be one of Singapore citizen's all time favourites! As the leaves are broad and looks like a heart. It can be grown in a bowl of water and rocks (but becareful of mosquito eggs). When grown in a pot, it is a climber or vine. And it can climb walls. And can grow quite large especially if it is grown on the grown. However, if you were to utter these words "Hey! Why are you growing Devil's Ivy" No body would believe this other name. Money Plant belongs to the Araceae family. Origin: Solomon Islands.... If you do visit Solomon Islands... remember... $$$ plant comes from there
