Dear Master Cecil: I have taken a look at the traits of the houses that are able to suck wealth from neighbors at http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-hunting/po-hunting-faq.htm I become very confused. It looks like an end house is in a receiving position for wealth from houses ahead of it at both sides. Are the corners of wealth-losing houses poison arrows pointing to the wealth-receiving house? Please help shedding light to my confusion. Thank you. Regards, Jen

For the manufacturer If the core business is to design and launch new lingerie, this can be considered under Wood element. b. In your case, most likely, you are selling lingerie, than the core business is Marketing / Sales. Under this area, it is considered as a fire element. The type of colour or outlet would depend on the type of clientelle that you are considering. 4. Dear Pao Lee, Please see below:- Yes. In my opinion, it is `eternal' as long as one does not "fly" the home into a new period. Pay more attention to the main door. Where possible, the main door should NOT be moved or re-installed. Else, it will most likely mean, a failed exercise. If you can, try to get the contractor to:- 1. The living room floor tiles up to the main door, should be completed. 2. The main door, should be properly `seated' and not re-adjusted or reinstalled after lunar 2004. Frankly, it looks like an incomplete home. In my opinion, an incomplete home or one that is `not fit' to live in is considered as an uncompleted home. And may be furtile…

From your description, you garden sounds lovely. This is already a plus point. 5. The other `secret' ingredient to a successful (area) is the sight of birds. Birds, like us, do appreciate good location. Hopefully, they are not king fishers or fish eating ones (especially if one rears koi fishes:) 6. You stated there are many ways to change to period 8 without much hacking. Could you explain. We have a new home. West 2/3 . We could re orient to N/w1, or 2/3. I have been told and read of problems with the 7's in the flying star chart during period 8. We do not have the money for an open roof remodel as I have read is needed. Any help is appreciated. Dear Mandy, Please refer to this resource on how to determine the centrepoint, etc... http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-house1.htm There are many (many) Schools of Feng Shui. And your geomancy master is not wrong. In the past, ancient times, getting the main door is simple since, many of the homes / with court-yard are rectangular in shape and where the main gate facing is, the main door facing is often in the same direction. In ancient times, there is no such thing as so elaborate a building with honeycombs of various `facing' homes. Given this senario, standing at the centrepoint to the main door utilises the concept of "centre-of-gravity" and the flux a…

Dear Mandy, Based on the facing direction it should be NW. And sitting direction is SE. Please use the free tools which is available in the website for finding the sleeping direction. For the stove, most practitioners often consider the female of the house - and it should preferably face her good direction. (Bearing in mind the flying star chart influence i.e. if a specific sector: some practitioners say is the North or NW, it is best to avoid the true compass directions else it may `burn' auspiciousness.). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Or else, do let me know e.g. via private e-mail, what is your Flying star sector. And I can advise you to leave it on or not necessarily to place it on for the next year. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jisun, You can use this manual method to check your actual Western to Lunar calendar:- http://www.lovesigns.net/astrology/ayear/a60-80.htm This in general, if you are born on or between 2 Feb 1965 to 20 Jan 1966 under the Chinese zodiac, you are considered as a Wood-Snake But if you are born on or between 21 Jan 1966 to 8 Feb 1967 you are considered as a Fire-Horse. You can also make use of the free reports at http://www.geomancy-online.com to generate your correct lunar chart by simply keying-in or input your Western date of birth. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Dear Vikas, Apologies, I have to read between the lines, as I really do not like, going thru a chunk of information, that has too many values (computation values) for analysis. In Feng Shui, there are some misconceptions on the locations of North and South. Some would totally advise avoiding placing fire at the North. Since fire and water does not mix. Alternatively, at the South, some say cannot have water positions in this location. In my opinion, this is a wrong conception. In many cases, some Feng Shui practitioners have (even by mistake) allowed water to be at the south and fire at the north and vice versa. This interaction between the two, is contrary to the above p…

For example, in the past, I had to literally `put-down' every other work to help these people. The faster I help analyse each case, it does not seem to be appreciated. What's more, often I hear of "threats" - The agent says, I must confirm OR ELSE.. In fact, there were many cases where some clients (I did for free) literally - gave me the entire development's plans and help them find good choice units. One even asked me could I identify good hous…

Dear Caroline, Further to what I had mentioned:- Make sure that the corner of the pond is not aimed at "vital areas" e.g. main door entrance. In fact, in general Feng Shui, many practitioners would recommend the placement of the water feature on the (left) side of the garden. Since the right side is said to bring with it extra-marital affairs. (Where one stands inside the house looking outwards). Contrary to popular belief, it should not be placed directly in-front of the main entrance. Or blocking it. Again IN GENERAL, many FS practitioners would favour the placement of a water position (in harmony with the compass direction.) Thus, many FS practitioners favour the p…

Dear Maggie, 1. Yes, what you had described is a Chinese cultural belief or taboo. 2. And, many Chinese fear of repercussions such as not only complications but - the concern of a miscarriage. 3. This is especially so for the bed. For example, once pregnant, the Chinese believe that one must not shift or relocate the bed (on which the pregnant person sleeps on). 4. Even if one needs to move house; for example, NO CHOICE because they had sold the house before delivery, the pregnant person must avoid seeing the event i.e. moving her bed etc.... 5. As for the renovations in the kitchen, the stove is a major concern also. And where possible try not to remove the sto…

Dear Cecil, Please see below: I've told my brother that the lay out is inauspicious. However, he argued that he had consulted with a trustworthy psychic that the land was very auspicious. He added that most houses at the same side of the street have the same characteristic (lower than the street with basement) and many rich landlords stays there. The left neighbour has the same interior and exterior design because they're semi-detached houses. The left owner stays there too and is very rich. It looks like there is a river nearby "hug" the location. All I can do for him is suggest not to rent too long. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
