  2. Dear Mary, Please see below:- I very happy to learn that you have enjoyed this site ... for the last two years. Your words of encouragement will spur us to work harder to continously improve on the site. If you have used the binding element report, the suggested cure is metal. What this means is that where both parties are i.e. especially your bedroom or the living room, you can make more use of `metal' element to bind both parties closer. If we evaluate why the binding element `metal' is useful, we can look at it this way: 1. Metal helps your husband's weak water to grow. 2. Metal, has no ill effects on your Strong Earth element. Metal element is neutral to your …

Hello Anon: Cecil always points out that proper Shapes & Form placement is a quantum leap in FS. I think placing the bed & desk using shapes & form criteria is more important than best directions at this point. If you can get both - great! Good luck with your studies. Sincerely, Elena

Dear Cecil, There are is a fence on the back of our apartment seperating it from the next building.. The design of the fence is such that there are arrow shaped iron bars pointing to the back of the apartment The back is the West which is also the sitting direction of the apartment. What can be done to protect oneself 1. Keep the windows closed and curtained -- what u dont see does not harm u 2.Put convex mirrors to deflect the image of the bars 3. Any other remedy that you can suggest Thanks Anil _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com

Dear CF Yow, CF Yow wrote: We will be moving to our new condo next month. However upon checking our auspicious dates, the weekend dates in March do not seem favourable. Pls advise a 'practical' way to 'officially move-in' to our new condo on a weekday, without really having to move all our stuff. We intend to move the bulk of our stuff on a weekend. Simply select the better date to officially move-in, and then follow these move-in rituals:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/temp/user/move-in.doc Once you do it, you can move your furniture later. 1. Thanks for the re-upload of layout plan. 2. For practical purposes in applying a template onto your home layout out plan, please see attachment. The rationale for the centrepoint as shown in the attachment is that the home is nto particularly huge to warrant drawing two separate rectangles and later to use the template for Flying star and eight house purpose. 3. The best way to look at it is to consider the outline of the 2nd storey layout plan to determine the centrepoint of the home. Since this layout plan has less indentations and protrusions. 4. In your sketch, I believe the ground floor and 2nd storey should have the same outline. As in your sketch, the 2nd …

Dear Anon, If the pair of hands are stretched out in a `receiving' position, it would not be `auspcicious' unless the hands hold something. A pair of `empty' hands symbolises e.g. begging, and if they are really in this `position' then, best not to display it at all. Thus as you have not exactly described what posture it is, the above are my immediate comments. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Usually, the analysis done by analysis e.g. 7 7 1 and their relationships with each other. Here, a 7 7 relationship may differ with the base number. Such as the `quality' of Double 7's may for example be better with a 7 7 1 than say, 7 7 2 Long gone prosperity are terms given to that specific sector. Other sectors could be `Current Prosperity'. For example under period 7, the current prosperity (term) is located at the centrepoint. As I mentioned earlier, these are merely terms given to specific sectors. It should never be glorified i.e. paid homage to. If one uses it `wrongly' and follow the trend of some.. who believe in sector Feng…

Dear Yang Ming, 1. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-ruler.htm 2. In the above url, one can find a sample Feng Shui ruler. 3. In the above illustration, one can see the top line (just above the inches). This TOP line is meant for Yang Feng Shui. Or Feng Shui for the living. 4. The lower or BOTTOM line (below the inches) relates to Yin Feng Shui measurement or Feng Shui for the dead. 5. Therefore, you could look at the TOP row. 1 Feng Shui foot is equal to an imperial foot of approximately 17 inches. 6. In Hong Kong, one may find 3 or more versions of the Imperial Carpenter's Feng Shui ruler. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Bharat Mayani, Generally, your problem here is regarding door facing each other. Well, generally for such situation most of the only cures you can use is really to put a bagua on the door. However, personally what exactly are problems you have with your current situation? Is it that you often have conflicts with your neighbour? It looks to me like the neighbour is basically not around most of the time. So what other problems are you actually facing? If there is nothing, then basically nothing much to worry about. There is a saying that goes if nothing is broken do not try to fix it. If you facing problems with areas such as financial or sickness then, you should look …

Is this a major poison arrow? How can I remedy this? 3. The bathroom is very near the centre of the house and the main entrance. Is my interpretation correct? Is…

Dear Rosie, Where possible, one should always consider the priority of placing the bed based on good Shapes and Form Feng Shui. I recap on the best positions are preferably : 1. The bed should be (try) to be against a solid wall. 2. If possible, it should be on the opposite wall from the bedroom door. Or where best, the bed should not be on the same wall as the bed. 3. Para one is a better position than placing the bed with the head rest against a window. 4. If there is a window on the side of the bed; preferable that one leaves a gap between the bed and the window. 5. It is best still to position the head of the bed against a solid wall. But if you want to sleep below a…

Dear Sophia, 1. 6 (SIX) represents "big metal" and this is why, it is commonly used as a "cure" to neutralise e.g. #2 (sickness) or #3 or #4 (bad wood - career, lawsuits, scandals, education, romance type of issues) 2. Since we are now under the influence of Period 8, there is now a surge of anything to do with the number 8. Previously, the phonetic sound of "8" is particulary very auspicious especially for the Cantonese dialect group. 3. But now, many would like to hear that 8 is a good or SUPPOSE to be a very auspicious number under Period 8. 4. However, if we stick purely to the academic line of the Flying Star School of Feng Shui:- 6 = metal element 8 = earth el…

  22. Dear Anon, Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, so long as the frontage or the "head" portion of a house is not "chopped-off" to be re-renovated. For example, for some homes, the owners left the back part of the home intact but started to built a new front of the home. If so, it is still best to demolish the entire home and start from fresh again. Generally without looking into the finer details, how squarish or rectangular or how odd shaped the property is, all these will affect the final outcome as to whether we should "join" back the house. If it is just adding back walls that were previously knocked out, in general, if done properly, it may be acceptable to do so. …

dear Jen, 1. If there is no boundary and the entire piece of land seamlessly looks like merging with the entire area, than, this is far better off! Than, purposely demarcating boundary. Where, it will clearly show as a truly odd shaped piece of land. 2. Generally, we should not be too fearful of odd shaped piece of land. Unless often it affects the drainage of the land. 3. Overall, after reading your note, I do feel sad, not because of your land but the fact that I live in a country that not only must one have a fence but it has to be relatively high or prevent unauthorised people coming into it. 4. In Asia, and especially in Singapore the norm for a landed property home…

    1. Unfortunately, since no two situation is the same: 1.1 for a Feng Shui practitioner; for a bedroom, we often try to visualisemore importantly where the bed will be located. In many instances, even if the bedroom is located withintwo or more sectors, usually we would find that the bed-head and if we lie down on the bed, where is the majority of our body lies. If so, this sector should be one way of checking to see if there are no bad sectors or if so, some cure need to be placed. 1.2 Following from 1.1. Rather than firstly get confused whether this sector lies in North or NW, we should take a look at the Flying star numbers for both North and NW. 1.2.1 In some situ…
