Hi, It is `customary' not to move the bed when one is pregnant. The Chinese believe that this may result in a miscarriage. Similiarly, if the wife is pregnant, it is best not to move house during the term of her pregnancy. If there is a real need, she should not be around to see the movement of the bed etc...
