Edited by Robert: Don't need to re-post multiple queries on the same topic especially in a short period of time. Sometimes really busy so haven't even have time to attend to the forum messages. Duplicate / Similiar post has been removed. Dear Cecil / Robert I am new to this website..I have finally managed to place my question in the right conference (I hope). I am moving to my new house soon and it faces NW. However next to it on the right hand side there is a park with a fish pond. I understand in period 8 that it is bad to see water in NE as it will have bad effect and downturn with our finance ($)....Could you please advise cure or element that I can do to prevent it…

Part II - Further to what I had mentioned, if one open's one's eye, big and wide, one can find that there are even more varied cures in Feng Shui. For example: 1. Use of Lighting ================== In modern times, Feng Shui cures includes the use of lights e.g. some FS practitioners request their clients use 5 bulbs to represent the 5 elements or in some hotels, they ask them to use circular lights e.g. in areas light tea room etc... 2. Drowning bad stars ===================== External Feng Shui is very important. And for those who live in a landed property and provided, if it is feasible, could drown bad stars immediately outside their sector instead of using e.g. meta…

Dear Master, Thank you for your free online tool to help us determine the move in date for a new house. My partner and I would like to move into our new house on 18 Mar 2021. Based on the Chinese 生肖,I’m Chicken and she’s Monkey. We are also both born in the year 1981. From the online tool, we don’t see 18 Mar as an auspicious date. However, due to limitations, may we ask if we can move on this date (I.e. staying over night at our new home). Thank you for your advice, Master.

Dear Cheui May, 1. Since you are aware of your element and strength, using it is more accurate means of looking at the compatiblitiy of the home and the individual sectors of your home. 2. The reason is because, when one looks at the Eight House Theory, we generally use only the YEAR of birth to derive our personal GUA (KUA) number. However, under Pillars of Destiny, we use the YEAR; MONTH; DAY and (if the TIME of birth is available) use all 4 Pillars = Eight Elements (Stem and branches) to deduce our true element and strength. 3. Since the common denominator is the Five Elements, we know that each element or each sector represents an element e.g. North = Water element; S…

Greetings Mr Lee, Thank you in advance for your very important advice! 1) Regarding accessing/buying a house, do we base the "House Number Report' on the date the house was built, or the date we plan to buy the house (2020)? 2) As we move forward in time will the Date ranges (for Example: 2024-2043) have an effect on the homeowners or is it still based on the original date that the house was built? 3) Will repairs or remodeling effect the house expression? and to what extent? for example painting add new flooring etc. or does it change when a new room is added? 4) I am wanting to understand if I need to look at all three periods from the date …

It is acceptable for an LRT or MRT track to curve outwards of a block of flats. Not ideal Shapes and Forms but a "Safe situation".

Greetings Master Lee, I recently discovered your site and just love it! 1) Regarding a new home purchase, I am wondering what to do about a house we like since the property has good front door frontage for me (SE) but not for my husband. We actually have opposite directions in everything. Wondering if my husband entered the house from the back door (NW) would that correct the problem for him? 2) Also the location of the bedroom is an irritation for one of us is there anyway to remedy a location issue since there are no other bedrooms better for us? 3) What do you recommend regarding the FS steps to purchasing a home? What does a consult cover? …

Dear Masters, I would like to find out if there is any way I can activate a pearl string formation of my flat if the external landforms don't support. Fengshui teachers say that real mountains and water bodies are required before the pearl string can be activated. Since I can't see any of these landforms around the vicinity, does that mean nothing can be done to harness the benefits of a pearl string formation? Thank you sincerely in advance for your advice.

  10. Yeah, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, what you roughly mentioned; seems not auspicious. The best "test" is to check the history... who had previously rented the same "spot"? If possible, do more checking and/or speak to some of the neighours (tenants) of the building... to get some more information. Sometimes, it is amazing what we find.. e.g. the unit perhaps has higher turnover than say other units next to or nearby or within the building.... Good Luck in your venture!

    1. In my opinion, the best way to approach such a question is to see if your question(s) is linked to any common sense (if any). 2. Customs and Beliefs 2.1. For example, the Chinese Cantonese dialect group dislikes number "4'. As when pronounced in Cantonese literally means "die" or "death". 2.2. This is pure common sense. And because the Cantonese don't really like number 4, it also affects some other Chinese thru intermarriage between Cantonese and other dialect groups or if the population by large is made up of Cantonese or Cantonese influence. 2.3. For example, Hong Kong besides Canton, China has the largest pool of Cantonese. And even in countries like Singapore …

Hello, We are living in a townhouse and there are three objects supposedly acting as poison arrows to the front door: - Pointed roof of a house exactly in front of the main door - There is a lamp post and a tree both of which are shorter than the house we live in. However both are not exactly in line with the front door, but a little away. I tried putting a Ba Kua mirror over my door, however because we have front porch the pointed roof does not get reflected in the mirror, though it is visible when we stand at the door. My question is - can I hang the mirrorto the porch ceiling in front of the door to face the pointed roof top, instead of over the door? Thanks and …

Dear Jen, Is it possible to post a picture of this view? This is because no two situations are the same. There are many things to consider i.e. 1. What design / thickness are these poles? 2. How tall are they? 3. What is the distance between them and your main entrance. 4. What is at the front of your main entrance e.g. clear space? or a low wall. 5. Is there a foot path at the front of your main entrance and does it meander? There are many more uncertainties. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, It is ok to have marble on the floor. Murals for decoration are fine. Provided it is not a water scenery covering the entire mural or of `hungry', prowling animals. It is quite uncommon in most regions to have murals on the ceiling. Frankly it is also new to me so at this point unable to comment further. Warmest Regards, CEcil

Hi, Please read below:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/music.htm However, I personally feel that certain music are soothing to a person, and this does help a person relax. In Singapore, for example, in certain Chinese bookstore, eg. The Commercial Press located at Victoria Street, have a small collection of music which was packaged for Feng Shui and Yin / Yang Music. Some of these are quite interesting. There is one for relief of constipation, headache, overweight, stress etc. For those who are in Singapore, you can find such music available in stores, even in Popular Bookstore at Bras Basah Rd. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  20. 1) May I know must stove, frigde and sink form 3 triangle angle like the one in the attachment? Is this the best combination in kitchen fengshu? - Please refer to my earlier reply. "Cow-sense" can explain this. 2) Can Conventional Oven/Microwave oven places besides a fridge? - No issue. Since as explained in the earlier thread, many geomancers consider a boxed up fridge as = metal element. Only some consider it water element. - For those who feel that it is a water element; perhaps; search for such fellows and you might want to post a question to that fella. 3) Can Conventional Oven/Microwave oven faced kitchen toilet or window? - For facing toilet:- This is…

Dear Serene, It would be best to tie a red string with the 6 coinst tied together. This is preferred if one is using 6 coins. The rationale is because fire element (red) can help to bind or control metal element (especially if it consists of 6 metal or big metal element). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello, I'm a Feng Shui beginner, so please pardon my question. I'm a west person living in a north house. For the four months I've lived here, things have been going steadily worse for me. (I plan on moving as soon as I'm able, but in the meanwhile...) My question: While trying to do what I can to make things better, which takes precedence - My Eight House or the Eight House of the house I'm living in? It's confusing to me that my houses Death line is my Health line, etc. Thank You.

Dear Anon, In the `Holy Trinity' of Chinese destiny and astrology:- 1. Heaven's Luck This is our given luck. 2. Earth Luck 2.1 Here, a percentage of our earth luck (Feng Shui) can influence `romance/relationships'. 2.2 Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui. A simple example of how romance can influence us is: often, if the `mouth' of our house is big e.g. on the frontage area, there is both a main entrance as well as a patio area where often, the owners - fully open the sliding door area of this patio/living room. Often in such a situation, children may not get married or remain bachelors .... 2.3 Flying Star Feng Shui In some homes, combination of star numbers h…

Dear Evelyn, Thanks for your sketch. From the look of it, it seems that your main door opens directly to the balcony. Can I confirm whether is there a straight path of `air' flowing from the main door directly out to the balcony? Or do you have a screen or partition. If this is the case, it is more important to get a screen rather than to get a dragon. Even if one wants to use a dragon figurine, it should be on a wall, facing out of the house e.g. thru an opening such as a window. It must not be allowed to faced a blank wall. Yes, a dragon figurine can help improve on yang qi in the house but, caution about where to place it. It should preferably not also be placed inside…

  25. Ok, I divided the two shapes into two rectangles, the other one being the bedroom. Doing this, the southwest corner of the main room becomes the bathroom and the southwest corner of the bedroom is a built-in closet. That doesn't help my marriage prospects because then I flush my prospects away and I keep far too many memories. How do I enhance the relationships area of my life given these two placements? I was born in 65 so my auspicious directions are NE, NW, SW and W. I am also thinking of moving the mirror to the dining room. Would that be ok? I really appreciate the help you've given me. Gloria
