Dear Anon, Some practitioners may consider the apartment asSE facing because the main entrance is located facing SE. If so, since SE facing is wood, it is not suitable for a Strong Fire person. On the other hand, the alternative view is that it can be SW facing i.e. earth element. Thus, would be suitable to a Strong Fire person. Usually, without an onsite visit, I believe many traditionalist practitioners would consider your apartment as a SE facing one as the defacto facing direction of the apartment. Often, a more accurate assessment is needed e.g. onsite to view the surrounding buildings, garden, open space and to locate the qi flow coming towards the unit either…

Dear Samantha, Based on your description; if you are to remove your roof tiles from existing area, then looks like your home will be flying into Period 8 already. But if you are adding new roof (without removing existing home's roof) by extending it, then your home would remain the previous period 4. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, This is a very common issue for most couple. But the way to go about doing it is to apply the give and take principle. In the case of Eight House when what is suitable to you isn't suitable to your spouse. Then you should ensure that the house should be first suitable to you as the Breadwinner. Even if your wife isn't that suitable to the house, it is not too bad. If you can ensure that your wife has a suitable bedroom instead. This means that you draw your luck from the house, while your wife will draw the luck from a better bedroom. So even if the bedroom is like Spook/Irritation for yourself, this is acceptable since your luck comes from the house and no…

Dear Anon, Small plants should generally be treated as part of the interior decor. For larger plants etc... it is good to look at each sector under the Flying star Feng Shui. For example, if the location has say an auspicious #8 either mountain star or water star or both; it is not favourable to place large plants at these sectors. Since wood (imagine it's roots crushing into the earth) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear anon, No this would normally be not enough to fly to the new period. If possible, once some of the tiles are removed, leave it (perhaps, use a clear plastic sheet) to cover the missing area but generally one may have to place it back around 100 days later. Usually the morepromising thing is to do a major renovation. Thus, in my opinion, it is really a waste of time and money changing the main door since the frame is not changed at all. Besides this, a celebration or inviting a lion dance etc... would help... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Wee Wei, Centrepoint Developement's Cote D'azur is just TOP, also. In all condo developments, there are always good Feng Shui units and not so favourable ones... For Lakeholmz, it was quite active last week with 4 units sold. In all developments, it is always the "first-mover" advantage that is the best! (book first! -- during early launch) to get choice units. Since the MRT track runs parallel to Lakeholmz, units next to it would have "penetrating" (irritating) sound throughout the operating hours of it. In addition, try to avoid units that have walls that soak directly the afternoon sun. Frankly, sometimes if we realise, an entire block /unit is often left u…

Dear May, It is good to avoid the "coffin position" where the legs should not face the bedroom door. If so, best to "change position"; at least with the head facing the bedroom door is (not ideal) but acceptable). If you need some privacy; it would be good if the bed has a bedhead. Else if not, then something like a clean bath towel placed on a "open-hole" bedhead is acceptable. For rooms that may have #5 or #2 avoid bright yellow or bright red in a bedroom. As a safeguard to avoid the sickness stars. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear ed Gin, Flying Star house number is only used to check whether a house unit is auspicious or not. This is particularly useful in determining which of the two units say #13-79 or #11-79 has better luck. The descriptions of the impact does not really occur. Whether or not you have such stars depends very much on the flying star analysis of your home more than a house number. So there should be nothing to worry about. Hope that helps. 13. Dear Mieke van der Wijngaart-van Dongen, In your case, whether there isn't much of a choice available to choose from. Then I would East would probably be the better choice. I mean at least directly behind is the sink rather than the toilet bowl itself. This is at least better than having a toilet bowl sharing the same wall as your bed. Furthermore, since it is your own toilet, you will be able to keep it clean, control keeping the toilet bowl cover down and keep the toilet door close when not in use. Often a home toilet will not be as dirty as a public toilet. The reason why toilet is considered least auspicious is often it is would be considered the most dirty place i…

Dear May, This shouldn't be a problem. As long as you can block the poison arrow it does not matter whether it is artificial or not. In fact, for bedroom, it isn't too advisable to have real plants. This is because in the evening, the plants will also be fighting with you for oxygen. Hope that helps. 15. Dear Knight Elliot, Everyone has some form of personal intuition (often known as like Sixth Sense). Some people have very strong intuition, others have less. It is hard to tell you from a third party point of view, exactly whether the repeated 11 is it auspicious or not. Probably it sounds like a warning to me at this point. Usually, when a person is very close to you, when something happen, you just have some feeling about it. Quite natural. Sometimes, the best thing is not to be overly worried. When you think too much into anything, you only stress yourself out and add more worries. Especially, so when things just do seems to work out well for you. Unfortunately, we …

Dear kb Ang, Frankly, even with a simple Eight House (4 good and 4 bad directions), there are so many people who still find it hard to apply due to complete oppositestype of chart between two person. That concept you mentioned is only add further complications. Anyway, I don't advise the use of it, simply because there is an even better one that is derived from the Ba Zi Feng Shui. Ba Zi uses the date and time of birth so it is likely to give better results than Gua (Kua) analysis. Gua analysis uses only YEAR of birth. Hope that helps. 17. Dear Anon, For office, of course it will be good to have some window as it will firstly look nice and bright. But even if you do not have the window is fine especially in use as a store or warehouse. In addition, you will have a lack of nice view which can be very good impact on a client especially in a waiting or meeting room area. In addition, there will be no additional entry points for Qi to enter into the office except the main door. Hope that helps. Dear Mark, Frankly, it is best to look at all the stars at one go. Rather than looking at it separately. 3 - Strong Wood,5 -Strong Earth, 6 - Strong Metal Looking at the bad stars, 5 Strong Earth is exhausted by both Strong Metal and Strong Wood. So the star 5 impact in that sector is not an issue. Strong Wood is also controled by Strong Metal. So also neutralised. So even if you do not do anything most of the stars are almost neutralised. However, this is no harm in adding some Metal cures to further strengthen the sector. A little Water and Fire will also not do much harm as it will then create a full five element harmony (Wood -

Dear Anon, Frankly, Feng Shui is by no means a mircle care to all problems. Your problem if any is what we would classify as a Human Luck factor. Particularly, if you lost your job to due to your attitude. Then probably the best thing you can do is to correct or improve your attitude. I don't think no amount of feng shui can help you here. It is always important to find the root cause to any problem. If you know what is the root cause, then work to correct it. Otherwise, even if you find another job, you might stilllose it the same way you lost the other. You see even if a person's luck isn't good in a period, but if he/she has good overall human luck (ie very hardw…

Dear Anon, This is generally, a very common issue between two persons. The best way you go about matching two person's eight house is to apply the give and take approach. ie. Breadwinner should have the house extremely suitable to him. This way even if the bedroom is of a lesser auspicious, the breadwinner draw luck from the house. The breadwinner's spouse should then get the better bedroom to compensate from the lack in auspicious facing of the house. This will resolve most of the such conflicts. Especially, when what is good for one is bad for the other. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Frankly, when you read any Horoscope forecast, most of the time you must always remember that it is a general forecast only. Each person who creates a forecast, uses different concepts or tools available to him or her to be able to attempt to analyse the different animal signs to determine whether an animal sign is good or bad. Frankly, I can tell you that even for an Ox, there is at least 10 different kinds of Ox, so not all are good or bad. ie a weak water Ox, Strong water Ox etc. Each kind of element will have different luck for that year. That is why you see on our forecast, we attempt to give you a full breakdown of animal signs and their associated el…

Hi Anon, Sometimes, you should to worry too much. There are so many form of analysis (ie numerology, ba zi, chinese horoscope etc) Each form of analysis tries to make sense of a certain chart. With regards to health this may or may not happen all depends on many factors as well. I mean rather than worrying about what might happen, you should be more pro-active in attempting to prevent any potential health issue from happening. ie. Keeping or staying Health has been a good way of enhancing your wealth. ie. Watching the food your eat also is very helpful in ensuring that you maintain a good health. ie. Having sufficient preventive measures ie vaccination all will help k…

Dear Anon, Thanks for the sketch! The "overhead" beam that you had mentioned (illustrated) is very common situation. If one looks carefully, with a pillow, the head will (never) be under this beam. If so, there is no issue at all! It is not the same as having an overhead beam right across one's body or the overhead beam is in the middle of the bed. If so, this is a concern. But in your illustration, to be sure, one can even pull the bed head further out or leave a few inches gap between the bedhead and the wall. If so, there is no issue in neutralising it. Yes, you are correct, traditionally, all the methods you had mentioned are to neutralise a beam. While the …

Dear Anon, Usually, your office would have installed blinds. Simply draw the blinds and this is good enough : " if one cannot see it it no longer becomes a threat. As for the sharp corner of the pillar:- 1. from your illustration, it does not seem that the front pillar slices into the person. So should not be an issue. 2. furthermore, for a sharp corner in an office, usually after approximately 1 metre distance away from it, the sha qi is pretty weak. Even the two sha qi at the back of you should not be an issue. In addition, if one has a high chair, the two sha qi at the back is a non-issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, In feng shui, as long as you cannot see the threat it no longer becomes a problem. In your case, given that you cannot do much about the arrangement or change to a better location, then whatever you can put that can help block or break the shape of the corner will definately help. As such your suggestion on the artificialplant will certainly help. It will also act as a decorative makes your office look nicer. Hope that helps.
