  1. Started by nntpguest,

Dear Guest, 1. The rationale why, the "numbers game" is not used in Feng Shui is; as you had correctly pointed out: it is subject to so many different interpretations! 2. For some race (and dialect) groups, it could be based on phoentic sounds. 3. Since, numbers are to be interpretted so widely or diversly, it would seem furtile to argue which numbers are better. 4. Even in numerology, there are just too many schools. And where do we begin? 5. More importantly, if it is from a Feng Shui angle, often, it is not the number of the unit but rather: the external environment, the site, the building that plays an important part. 5.1 For example, we often find homes with `nice' n…

My husband doesn't sleep well and has not much success in his career. He has not worked in 4 month and has not had a job offer. He was born in 1946. Our apartment is a corner apartment on a major street on the south west corner. The bedroom is on the north east far end of the apartment. The door to the bedroom ison the west wall of the room in the south west corneracross the hallway from the bathroom. The closet door with a mirror is also on the west wall in the northwest corner of the room. Two windows are on the east walllooking outon th…

You could try bringing energy into the room with a small pet that would move around the space. Not fish in a bedroom though. Get a pet that sleeps at night, hamsters keep you awake. Hot milk just before bedtime helps. Dont allow tvs, record players or computers in the room as they can be a distracting influence.

Dear Kesaven, Please see below:- I am glad that you find the forum useful. I have always keep the forum messages "alive" since this forum program captured all the messages as far back as 6-7 years ago. And will continue to make the resources freely available to everyone wanting to understand as much as they can. I therefore, appeal to all users to make an effort to use the SEARCH feature in this forum. It is not like searching thru, tons of paper. But rather, for those who have rather lazy or fat fingers, should excercise them! No point have a shapely body figure but fingers are so...so fat! Not proportionate to size. 1. Study the various probable facing directi…

Dear Ariane, I am sad to hear about your problem: 1. If you have the time, you could check out the Shapes and Form School of this house i.e. do an environmental scanning: the surroundings site, the home. 2. We will certainly be happy provide you credit for a Flying Star Analysis. Here, you have to do some homework i.e. find the centreporint and direction of the main entrance etc... Look closely at the NE sector also. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Please email: robert-lee@3dmail.com to credit u with a Flying Star Analysis.

My in laws have built a duplex for us and my husband's brother. We of course had no idea about the plan. It was my mother-in-law's design. I have read a book in feng shui but I just got more confused. Like how do i position the bagua with the main entrance. we have four gates, one for each garage and one each for people's gate entrance. we have shared lawn. it was my in law's decision not to put division in the garage lawn area so that my kids and my brother-in-law's kid would have a larger place to play on. The main door to the house is not aligned with the gate. it faces to the left on our side and mirror image for my brother-in-law's side. another concern is having 3 s…

Hi, I'm new here. My life has been very inauspicious ever since I moved into the back house of my parents after remodeling it in 2017. I lost both of my businesses, had a heath scare, mental breakdown, pet dog died by a dog bite that came to my home that I housed for the day and lost my life savings from trying to day trade. I feel depress and hopeless. I don't know what to do? I hung a bagua mirror when I moved into the home on the outside of my back screen door for protection but I wonder if it has brought more harm than good? I'm planning on taking it down and disposing it after the hungry ghost festival on Sept 2nd. Any advice to help turn my luck around and help pr…

To add more to complication my house shakes when a large truck drives by. My place is so bad the walls end up with small cracks needing to be fixed. The pavement is also cracked due to the extreme weather. (N.A.) I often think the best solution is just to sell the house but the houses in my area are hard to sell. My bedroom door faces the bathroom door.

  12. Dear Cecil, I desperately need your advice and help on my career. I recently went on a couple of job interviews with many disappointments as I have the qualifications and many years of experiences for the job, but never get selected. There was one job I went in to interview for a very well-known and good company this past Tuesday and Friday (this one is the final with the head) and overall they went well. I was told by my recruiter that they really like me except for the final interview with the head she felt like none of the candidates including myself stood out although the interview was good. I heard she was a very hard to please person. I know this position has been o…

Dear Anon, It is very difficult for me to comment as I really need to see a drawing of it. As an indent can be a large area or narrow etc... This is only to determine whether there is indeed an indent. As for cures, these are limited. For indents there are frankly no `miracle' cures for such `flaws'. Cures differ also if it is a landed property or a flat. For example if it is a landed property, one can do some landscaping to create a profile of the missing corner. Or place a light to brighten up the place. For a flat or apartment, cures are limited to e.g. placing mirrors to `extend' the missing corner. If you can, try to give me a sketch the layout and upload to the for…

Dear Cheui May, In view of your request for a `better' understanding of some of the online reports such as " Balance of the Five Elements "; We have created a new topic in this forum " Learn more about Online Reports " where we will help to clarify or elaborate any questions relation to the interpretation of such reports and what to look for. The number of online reports have grown tremendously and there are quite a no. of them. We will try to add as many of them into the above Topic as soon as possible. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  15. Dear Anon, Apologise if the picture is not very clear. I have tried my best to scan a version of it plus considering the optimal size for it. No, the roof does not symbolise any auspicious `thing'. The `answer' will be posted in two weeks time. By the way, there are two new conferences created under geomancy-forum.com: (1). Try this Fun Polls and (2). Answers to Fun Polls A. This is to allow greater participation by everyone. And would be nice to see how everyone has voted so far. B. One can only vote once per poll. My element is Water. I have been lighting pairs of candles every night, btw do these have to be the same color? I sleep with my head pointing east or southeast to encourage yang energies. I also attach a Jade double hope to the left side of my belt and a jade bagua on the right side of my belt. I figured…

  17. I am in my 3rd year of self-taught feng shui 8 mansions and new to flying stars. This is my own home. It is just me here with my 3-year-old son in a very small house. Please help me with my flying stars. I can remedy most of this, but the S and SW are horribly inauspicious areas and taking up my whole living room! I don't know what to do with these!

Dear Kenny, Please see below:- This is good. More importantly, it is best to look at the entire building/block in relation to the Shapes and Form of the location, here. Is the piece of land where the whole block can accumulate wealth or where it flows off. Other consideration is that are there any poison arrows aimed at the apartment through windows.. This has to be looked into carefully. This is ok:) More importantly, best to look out for missing corners in the home. So long as the bed or other furniture are arranaged in good Shapes and Form, this should be acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  21. 1. You have to determine your Ba Zi element, first:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-personal-element.htm 2. As ultimately, your ba zi element will determine whether you are a weak or strong element. And your element could belong to either: metal, water, wood, fire or earth. As being a "water dog" is not enough information.

Dear Robert Lee Would like your advise and your opinion. In one of the book I read, (JoRussell)saying the missing corner it can be place a light outside at the point or an object such as a statue or heavy stone to provide grounding for the area. Or a bagua or a mirror but then the missing corner happen to be in the master bedroom cut across the kids room which is North-East (earth element) location and under the eight house chart prosperity area, but the flying star sickness area(M5, B2). As such, it is not possibly to place a light outside the window andplace such itemsoutside the window as it may fall on the ground. Plant are also not adviceable to place in the room. A…

    1. Leaving old bed frame: has been done before 2. 2walls: really your call. If one applies Compass school; then it is a different story altogether as one can analyze which of the two is better and who sleeps; where. Under the current situation; you may have to go with personal feel.

Sad to hear that my WS8 is useless,no wealth luck for the next 20 years. Can I activate'5m-1b-9w'by water at NE which is in the living room? Some said NE should not see water.

In my opinion, one can or may use a combination of : 1. Virtual water + activity: 1.1 Since this is the living room area; and if there are pocket(s) of opening e.g. When at home, try to see if it is possible to have such openings. For example, if the main door has an extra grille gate; can lick it and open the main door partially. 1.2 Continue to have activity at the living room area. 2. The most common advice is that of placing a water feature to activate the #8. Since this is the living room, it is/may be possible this year. 2.1. You have to make extra effort to properly understand the Five element concept. As other than the base star; water is good to reduce or negate …
