I purchased five acres of land in 1997 thinking I would build a custom log home. But my neighbors have from day one been a problem for me even though I mind my own business and maintain my property. I has gotten to a point where I feel the need to sell this property and find one with better chi and better neighbors. How do I use Feng Shui to help me find the place of my dreams and get the most money for my current property. My kua number is 2, I am a Rat born 12/11/60.My lucky element is fire. I currently have woods and a stream and would like my new property to have the same but what side of the property should the stream and woods be on? I'm pretty sure the house should…

Hi, Here, we should classify knifes or sharp objections into either: 1. Display items 2. Kitchen Ware Under display items, we should never display swords or knifes directly facing a main entrance door. This is indeed inauspicious. Similarly we should not display these in our bedrooms. For Kitchen ware, it will be a more commonsense approach to ensure safety in the home especially if we have very young children. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- This Lunar Year until last day of January 2003; the Grand Duke of Jupiter is located at 180 degrees South. Next year he is located at 220 degrees South. During this period, a sector known as the Three Killings is opposite the Grand Duke. For example, if South is Fire Horse, than North is the Water Rat. During this period it is advisable not to disturb North since this is the three killings location as one may have bad luck for several years. There can be two issues:- 1. Make sure that if you are distrubing earth, avoid doing it especially at South sector of the house. As this is akin of disturbing the Grand Duke. 2. For a period 7 h…

Dear Max, Overall, if your office is at ground level or within the height or blocked by the level of the warehouse store wall, this is considered inauspicious to have an office there. However, you mentioned that there is a street between this piece of land and the wall. If u have a picture of the frontage of the land facing the wall, I can have a look to provide you with further comments. Other considerations:- 1. Under the Five elements concept:- 1.1 Earth element warehouse? If the warehouse is a flat structure i.e. flat roofs - then this is considered an "earth structure". Or if the overall building is a `flat' like structure with roofs. To counteract or `create' wealth…

Dear Anon, 1. Frankly, this question should not be posted in this forum. Since, in my opinion, there is no such cure under Feng Shui. 2. But, seriously, lets hope your neighbour moves away. 3. These are some of the `hints' which has nothing to do with ME or with Feng Shui. So, here goes: 3.1 Wish for more rain. Heavy rain would make sure that your neighour cannot get a puff outside the home. 3.2 Pay a Feng Shui practitioner to "feng shui" your neighbour's home. Make sure, you choose a very Lousy Feng Shui practitioner. One who will cause more harm than good:) 3.3 If all else fails, seriously, get your home air cleaners such as hepa cleaners ...e.g. Honeywell, Sharp plasma…

Hi Sir I live in a HDB in SG. My front door and gate faces my neighbor's front door and gate directly due to HDB design. Recently my new neighbor has pointed his Front Gate Frame Black. His Front Gate itself has remained the same default design from HDB. Will like to ask if there's any implication in regards to Feng Shui? As in, would it affect us? Or for good Feng Shui should my unit be doing the similar thing as well? Looking forward to your reply teacher.

Dear Anon, Can you check and feed-back further: i.e. what type of ba gua mirror did your neighbour place above their main door: Key features of the ba gua mirror: 1. Is there a mirror on the ba gua mirror? Yes/No 2. If so, is the mirror flat / concave or convex? Concave/ Convex 3. Is it purely a single mirror or on the exterior there are outer rings of the ba gua eight tigram? 4. Other ba guas e.g. with qi ling or "lion head" or with guardians of two door gods? Any other figurines (or pair of figurines) aimed at your home. Any yellow charms above their door? For info, usu…

Dear Jane, Unfortunately, this is not directly related to Feng Shui although theories such as Flying Star can help to pinpoint the location related to such influences. It is best that you try to explain to your daughter and not to say too much to the neighbour. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Aquick reply on the bench:- 1. As you had mentioned, it has been for a few years. And low and neat and tidy. In my opinion, therefore, will not affect the Feng Shui that much (if any). 2. As the frontage of your main door is considered bright (or still) able to have "bright hall" effect which is good. 3. So no need to take drastic steps in removing it. 4. Earlier, I mentioned, when you placed the bench, it a sense, symbolically, to some people, it means that "your cares" are only up to the bench area. Thus, in a sense, in my opinion, to your neighbour, perhaps, implies that they can do anything they want "out of this" boundary - that's all.

Dear Erika, In my opinion, I consider this more an `environmental issue'. Perhaps, you may have to " discuss " with your neighour whether it is possible to `redirect' this air e.g. using a funnel away from your home. If not, maybe your local authories can help. Overall, this is `new' to Feng Shui i.e. the modern invention of an exhaust fan, but it is generally inauspicious (bad Qi) and you should try to resolve it. Thank you foryour clarifications. Based on your reply,my neighbour'sba gua mirror serves two purposes, mainly protection and wealth. Besides adopting your solutions mentioned in point 8 & 9,are there any other simpler solutions to adopt? There are no conflicts between my family and my neighbours so I do not wish to create ba gua war with them. My intention is just to adopt measures to protect my family if my neighbour's ba gua mirror should create some bad impact on my family. Are there any feng shui items I can placed somewhere near my main door to act as a protection against my neighbour's ba gua mirror? Thank you for your time and hope to receive your reply. Tha…

Dear Anon, 1. I assume here is that there is an open window facing the sharp pointed roof of your neighbours'. 2. If the above is true, then the concept " if it cannot be seen, it no longer becomes a threat' can be applied. 3. You can use a day curtain to screen the house from the pointed sharp edge. 4. If this is a solid wall and even if there is a pointed edge, it has no impact on your master bedroom. 5. It is common for a Ba Gua, can be used to neutralise such Sha (poison arrow) Qi. 6. It is best to stand at the window to confirm by looking out to guage if the sharp edge really points to your bedroom. If it is on the side, this is usually not a threat. Warmest Regards…

Dear DeVon, Usually the best advise is to check on one's religion first. For example, if one is a Catholic, one can obtain holy water from the Priest or invite him to `bless the house'. Similiarly, if one is a Christian, could ask your pastor to come to your home and `do some cleaning'. For other religions e.g. Buddhism, Toaism, should seek the help of their respective Priests/Monks. If one is a `free thinker', can still e.g. invite a religious person or go to a Catholic church to obtain `holy' water. Usually, prayers are said before sprinkling the `holy' water in the house. However, it is best to try to invite a Priest and only do this as a last resort. Where possible, i…

Dear Anon, One `rule' under Feng Shui is that if you cannot see the poision, it is no longer a threat. For those who are new to this forum, here are some examples of how this concept is applied: 1. One reason why many FS practioners ask you to place a screen between the main door and (say if there is a straight backdoor) or a staircase is that if you cannot see the offending sha, it no longer becomes a threat. 2. If a poision arrow is aimed at your window, this is why one method is to use a thicker set of curtain to `block' off the poision arrow. I have seen the latest car net (sun screens) as those you mentioned. The driver who drives behind the car cannot really see ins…

1. If the bedroom is occupied by husband and wife, http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on In the above link, for example, the Master Bedroom is located in the South-West sector of the home. Under the Eight House concept, SW is suitable to the Mrs (her longevity) sector. While SW to : Mr is his death sector. If the master bed is placed as shown in the illustration; Mr should sleep closer to the master bedroom door, while Mrs, sleep closer to the "toilet" area. 2. Here in this example, therefore:the master bedroom is located at South-West (SW) compass direction. If the bed-head is placed in this position, MRS should sleep closer to th…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Can you tell us how to neutralize the Robbery and Misfortune stars in a bedroom? And how can we prevent activating the Double Robbery stars in a master bedroom? Robbery Star is usually Star 7 (weak Metal). To weaken, it normally you use either water to exhaust the metal, or Fire to destory the metal. Fire may activate the Misfortune Star which is usually Star 4 (strong earth). So usually, water element might be the better solution such as yin water. Colours for water are like light blue/light gray etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

The saying goes: One man's meat is another man's poison... There are tons of numerology calculations. And in this example, the current Prime Minister of Malaysia loves the number "11". For Najib, it all adds up to 11 PETALING JAYA - When Prime Minister Najib Razak announced Parliament's dissolution on Wednesday, it was apparently linked to his favourite number - 11. Datuk Sen Najib's audience with the Malaysian King took place on 3/4/13: The numerals added up to 11 (3+4+1+3), as observed by Deputy Higher Education Minister Saifuddiri Abdullah. When Mr Najib was driven to the palace, he was in a Proton limousine with the number plate WRX 11. He lives in house number 11 i…

Dear Anon, 1. The ideal method to find the compass direction of the main door is to stand at the centrepoint of the house and measure the compass direction of the main entrance door. This URL has an example of how compass readings can be done using an ordinary compass: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm Do take note that whichever method you follow both here or elsewhere, do try to follow the `instructions' closely and in total. This is because, if one actually buys a Luo Pan or Chinese compass, the readings are taken facing the main door from outside of the house and readings is done of the `sitting' and `facing' directions. Therefore, do not read `Step 1' of th…

Dear Colleen, Generally there are three main reports:- A. Eight House Report B. 20 Year Flying Star Report C. Pillars of Destiny Report A. Eight House Report It is good at this point to use a transparency place each member's Eight Intangible force on the transparency. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm Later this transparency is used to look at in particular, the intangible force affecting: 1. the main entrance door 2. the living room or areas where each person spents most time at. 3. the bedroom. Here it is used to try to see if one can place the bed at a good sector of the room. B. The 20 Year Flying Star 1. Firstly, Use this report to check for imbalances…
