Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

Dear Master Lee, Thanks for the good news andillustration. One last questions (for now ). So does it mean, in my case the stove location is fine as long as the sewerage pipe is not visible visually? What about bed headboard sharing the same wall as the toilet bowl which is not visible since it is on the other side of the wall? Thanks for your time in answering my questions. Lenus Lee

In a very recent forum reply, I mentioned:- 1. Acceptable to have blue roofing with white external walls. (or OK) 2. Grey roofing should also go with white external walls. (or OK) 3. Clay or orange coloured roofing can go with just any colour. This goes with maroon roofing.

    1. It depends:- 1.1. If the car garage is at the Basement or below street level: where it was dug into the ground; then not counted:- Basement (if your garage is at this level) Street Level = #01-xx 2nd storey(If your garage is at street level) = #02-xx 1.2. If the car garage is at Street Level, then the car garage (area) = #01-xx; while your unit, say on the 2nd storey = #02-xx. Please see attachment. Note: Not many apartments are greater than #99 storey's high. And the Flying Star House (Apartment) Report: does not look at apartments below ground level.

    1. Please note that Feng Shui does not depend soley on this interpretation. 2. Feng Shui is about: location, location & location. And other more important factors include: which flying star direction this home is facing, how suitable the home is to the breadwinner. 3. If you are applying Feng Shui, you have to apply all these facts and cannot just based on this single information alone. 4. You are just like asking a blind man to lead another blind man?

Frankly, even for Catholics, why is there so much concern of taboos especially for dismantling and post mantling? For regilious matters, since you are Catholic, you easily just approach your church elders (fathers or sisters) if you are still so concern about such things.

  10. Mr. Lee, thank you so much for this simple (to you), invaluable (to me!) painting advice. iv>I am a huge fan of your approach to Feng Shui and take to heart your maxim to "first, stop the leak." v>We live in a South 1 facing period 7 home, and after February of 2004 things began to go, with a few exceptions, less well. We live in the Rocky Mountain west region of the United States, where finding a consultation was difficult, but we did find one Eastern-trained practioner/geomancer, and his advice to us was welcome, if a bit renovation- heavy. I am so grateful to you for advice, as the details of this house sprucing-up have been left to us. Stacy

Appended on 4 December 2019: Suggest, please go directly for an in-dept understanding of the Frontage of a house. Is it always the main door? Please refer to the attached resource: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=26954&new= For practical reasons, the smallest Asian sized door width is 35 inches. For European or American standard - should be 42 inches or 48 3/4 inches roughly within such a range. Commonsense approach is that if the width is larger; the larger clearance the door has to "swing" inwards. And imagine if the door size is 58 inches (one or two leaves) a…

  12. Thanks for the illustrations. In my opinion, it looks OK as it is upright without another secondary roof to make it horizontal. And furthermore, the "UP" profile of the house is not duly affected by the turbines as shown in your illustration. Chimneys also protrude and they even have an "opening" at the top. Thus, in my opinion, a no issue interms of Shapes and Forms and/or symbolism in Feng Shui. And the plus point is that it can help circulate qi properly in the home = excellent!

  14. 1. Thanks for the sketch. 2. If it is still a set of staircase for any block of flats; it is suppose to be a fire escape stairway (area). 3. If so, under Singapore (and most other countries) fire safety code; the staircase door should be closed. 4. Thus, since there is all the more reason for this door to be closed; it should be fine. In this case, you don't need to place those item that you are not in favour of at your main door area.

Further to what I had mentioned, for the benefit of users, here who do not know what is 9 star ki; In general, 9 star ki was exported to Japan. And from there; it was re-exported especially to Europe and is popular with some UK practitioners. These are some of older links on the differences between 9 star ki and Ba zi & more:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=5276&new= http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=22434&new= Although 9 Star Ki has it's origins from China; it is difficult to mix Traditional Feng Shui with 9 Star Ki. Furthermore, 9 Star Ki is more a mathematical close-to Flyin…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. How many of us; during our school days, were "forced" to change our sitting (study positions) "yearly". 2. Come-on; are you implying that you will judiciously monitor "yearly" where Tai Sui is and request the person: male or female to change his table directions, again yearly? 3. If your intention is to change; just because you became interested in Fung Sway.. today.. What happens if you got tired of Fung Sway.. and venture into other areas.. would you still care to change your table direction. 4. Frankly, speaking, I can't even be bothered to review and or change my directions (yearly) as long as I own the same home.... 5. In you…

Thanks Master Cecil for your advise. I will maintain the existing door. When I generate the 'Eight House Report' from your website. I got to know that North is my 'death' direction. My house currently is facing North direction. Does it means that is bad for me? Is there any way to overcome this? Please advise. Thanks.

  24. 1. Please note that the report considers three factors: Eight House, Flying Star and Ba Zi of the breadwinner. 2. Yang Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the living; the facing direction is important. 3. For Yin Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the dead; then refer to what you mentioned, below. 4. The Flying Star Period 7 applies; only thing is that under Period 8; the #8 are important for this period. Majority of the time; each sector will still depend on the 81 combinations or interactions of the Mountain star vs the Water star.

It is just like in the past, there were only X-ray machines. 2.1 Today, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is far superior than the X-ray machines. 3. In the past, some geomancer may rely on a row of six-coins tied with a red string or a hulu or bottle gourd. But if one's bed is say directly above a stove; a relatively cheap and safe alternative is the smoke detector. 3.1. For example, the row of six-coins would simply melt in a fire; at least; the smoke detector may even "call you". Some …
