Dear Tan, Congratulations on your new job! Unlike the case where it is considered inauspicious to moving-in; frankly, there is no major issue selecting a date to start-work. However, feel free to use our free auspicious date report to check auspicious dates for the next 30 days:- http://date.geomancy.net Warmest Regards, Cecil

I am involved in a new apartment launch and sadly there is hardly any sales. Is there any prayers needed to be done? Should i knock the doors of the showflat before we begin sales? It is very strange that the price is reasonable but there is hardly any sales.

Dear Adeline, The best approach is breakdown luck into three categories: 1. Heaven Luck (what we are suppose to be born with) 2. Earth Luck (our home /office environment) 3. Human (Man) Luck (our relationship with each other) Commonly known as "the Holy Trinity of Luck". Each type of luck can either help boost or remain unchanged or degenerate depending on specifics. Our home/office (earth luck)usually can make alot of difference in wealth retention. However, for Man Luck, such as a person's ambition or non-ambition, this is difficult to change .. especially one's character. For example, there are many who continue to work for others but can be at a lost or find it…

Dear Peter, 1. Yes, in your situation, Shapes and Forms would often prevail over our best position - based on the Eight House theory. 2. Even if our facing direction is not favourable, it would be worse off to sit with our back against a door. (Especially if the door is frequently used). 3. One can draw a parallel to the "modern" house-hunter. Nowadays, for example, many breadwinners belong to the West house group. And just because, they read that West directions are the most favourable for them. As a result, especially in Singapore, there are many people who continue to buy homes that face west or east-west or have bedrooms at the west. Without realising that the…

Dear Mr Low, I hope I got your description correctly. From what I understand, it seems like you have supporting structure which often is thicker than the wall or glass frame. Often this is not an issue. Unless, you are referring to a protuding corner (plastered with concrete). If so, often the sha qi from such a corner is approximately 1 metre distance. Otherwise, if it is just a tiny protrusion i.e. part of the support structure, then there is often no issue here. There is no harm in placing a crystal. No issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Benji, This has been question that has been posted time and time again. 1. When you take the entrance of the office from the main building entrance, you are actually taking performing a feng shui audit for the entire building itself. 2. When you take entrance of the individual office entrance, then you are actually performing an analysis of the individual office unit within the building itself. So when analysing an Office / Shop, you should take the reading from the office entrance or shop entrance. Remember, that Flying Star can be applied on a Macro or Micro level. So the frontage you choose will determine the scope of the analysis. Hope that helps. Warmest…

Hi Anon, 1. If you take the entrance of the building, you will be doing a feng shui for the entire building. This means that you will be doing the feng shui for tall offices within the building itself. Which is a larger scale of analysis typically used for when you are planning to build the entire building itself. 2. Each office unit within the building does have it's own feng shui, so you should be looking at the individual feng shui of the office based on the main door or office frontage. Since your aim is to check on your own office, then you should point 2. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui

These are my comments: 1. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: Symbolically, it looks like your work-table faces the same direction as the table in your boss room. This is a plus point. 2. Compass School of Feng Shui: 2.1. If you know your best facing direction (e.g. under the Eight House concept) and this new facing direction of your work-table is favourable; again this is another plus point. Here, you need to do some homework such as using the ordinary compass to find the orientation. 2.2. Most likely, this is beyond you; as usually, a Flying Star chart can be plotted to check the various sectors and Flying Star influence.

Dear Karen, 1. Red tile roof or clay coloured roof tile is a common preferred choice. 2. For painting the entire house, it is always best to paint the walls white or alternatively pastel shades of any other colour be it beige or cream - which are acceptable. 3. This is because, other than white or off-white; cream or beige or shades of it is often the choice of colour of architects and interior designers. So long as the colour(s) are light or pastel shades (making the wall bright) this should be acceptable. Here, the idea is (other than the bedroom) is to make the house `bright' rather than dark. 4. Another reason is that, if there is an imbalance at a particular sector,…

Dear Andrew, 1. Five metres is in a very close proximity. 2. Yes, currently I believe, from your second floor, there is an obstructed view or clear space. 3. But if a new condominium development, perhpas, you may not have clear space (at your frontage anymore). 4. However, you mentioned that there is suppose to be a water position at the front (after the development). If this is the case, then, you should usually have clear space. 5. What type of water fountain will there be? If it is a circular fountain, you can still benefit from it. But if it is a wall-type of fountain where the wall is facing you and water falls into this wall, then, this type of fountain may not be…

Dear Elaine, Since the house is rented; and working from a 2nd bedroom. If you are converting or using the 2nd bedroom rather than the main bedroom (1st bedroom) then, you can do so. For the position of the tables /chairs; it is always best to prioritise ie. make sure that the tables are positioned based on Good Shapes and Form Feng Shui (first). As an example, the table should not be directly facing the bedroom door. Where possible the table should not be on the same wall or against the same wall (with the opposite side) .... is the toilet. Please see below:- If you are using a bedroom (usually a place of rest) then, you may have to try to use the Yin and Yang concep…

Dear Samantha, Based on your description; if you are to remove your roof tiles from existing area, then looks like your home will be flying into Period 8 already. But if you are adding new roof (without removing existing home's roof) by extending it, then your home would remain the previous period 4. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi! I am new to Feng Shui and I am experiencing a very bad time ever since I move to my new house. I lost my job, business, and even my first treasured diamond ring to a conman who was suppose to help me change my fate. I even paid money to an overseas astrolger who promised me to do some special sessions which could help but ended up as a fool. I saw a documentry on Feng Shui recently and started reviewing it over the Internet. Its so lengthy and I am not sure where I should begin. I guess the free ones may not be accurate and for the reding its quite expensive. Hope you could advice how I should approach it. Thank You Thomas

1. Frankly, as you have correctly asked the question: Does Feng Shui really help? 2. These are some of the considerations:- 2.1. Feng Shui is not a cure all. Thus everything cannot gravitate towards Feng Shui alone. 2.2. Under the Chinese "Holy Trinity" of luck; Feng Shui is just one of the three types of luck:- The three types of luck are:- Heaven Luck - or commonly known as born with Earth Luck - Feng Shui of the home, workplace or even at study Human (Man) Luck - Family relationships, bonding and support structure. 3. As one can see, Earth Luck accounts only for 33.3 percent of the above luck. Thus in an examination, anyone with just 33.3 marks upon 100 percent i…

Dear Mark, I wish you a warm welcome to this forum! In traditional Feng Shui, there are two major schools:- 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Compass Schools. You have correctly pointed out that Compass School Feng Shui is one form of Feng Shui that can be used to help increase one' luck. Basically, Feng Shui (earth luck) and Chinese Divinity methods and the use of Ba Zi (Heaven's map) have a single purpose i.e. to try and help one increase our luck. If you have the time to read many of the messages in this forum, one may come to the conclusion that: 1. Sector Feng Shui or paying homage to a corner... This does not bring significant luck or money to a person. I have given the il…

Dear John, 1. There is a difference between favourable colour(s) and wealth element colour. 2. Thus for a Strong Metal person:- 2.1 Favourable element/colours: Water (blue/black/grey), Fire (red), wood (green/brown). 2.2 Unfavourable element/colour: Earth 9yellow), metal (white/gold). 3. Wealth element/colour: Wood (green/brown). Thus if one notice carefully, the wealth element colour is one of the favourable colours for the person. The difference here is that under the destructive sequence (reference url: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm ) 4. Since the person is a Strong Metal, the Strong Metal can be used to destroy Wood. The end result is what…
