  1. Dear Anon, Thank you for bring up an interesting question. A career related to fire element is always considered as your wealth element. Here, there is a distinction between whether you are weak or not. Even if you are weak, your career with wealth is still the Fire element. If you are in a career related with Fire, for a weak water person, you need to strengthen your weak water with metal element to benefit from such a career. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yang Ming, 1. Try to find out more by: Knowing the purpose of say: 1.1. Gua or Kua element 1.2. Pillars of destiny or 4 pillars. 2. I believe, there are already so many past questions on just this issue. CLUE: What is the lowest common denominator for each? 1. Gua or Kua Takes into consideration? Year of birth only 2. What about Pillars of Destiny? What consideration does it take? Please find out or do a SEARCH into this. The difference of the above has been explained (many times) previously in this forum. It would not be difficult to also try and do a SEARCH and write down what are the strengths and weakness of each of the above. I will be very glad if it is a new …

Frankly, there is no hard-coded rule for this. In my opinion, there were many or lots of instances where the day is not auspicious for that partner e.g. hubby. The hubby could come in an hour later on the same day. Alternatively, there were instances where this same hubby comes in only after the full procedure has been carried out by his wife.

Dear Anon, In Traditional Feng Shui:- 1. The main door is important as it is like the `mouth' of the house. 2. The main important thing here is that the main door, must be "protected". "The mouth must not be hurt". For example, if a sharp corner of another building points to the house, it is known as Sha Qi or poison arrows. Other common arrows include, a single lamp post that slices the main door (tangent to it). Here, if one stands at the main door and looks out of the house, the object e.g. a lamp post should not slice the main door. 3. Besides, the main door, the frontage e.g. windows, should also be `protected' from some of the harm as mentioned above. 4. Tradition…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Actually, the best is one with a `metal' roof and with the clinger of an I-ching (circle with square) coin. However, from personal experience and because if it is to be used to neutralise #5 or multiples of it; many of the above mentioned wind chimes are too heavy to make any sound unless it happens to have heavy winds. This is because the copper rods with the coin clinger is too heavy. But, if one is currently using the above wind chime and other than for decoration; then this is fine. Thus, it is my opinion, that (FOR PRACTICAL) reasons i.e. if one wants to neutralise #5 or multiples of it or any other combinations with #3, #4 and even…

good day to you. id like some help on understanding the theory behind the kua number. my question is why is the males number subtracted from 10? and the female number added by 5? i understand that the kua number 5 has no value to it, being used in a reading and that is used to get the female number. what i dont understand is that in numerology 10 is not considered a number as the number 0 is nothing. and when calculating your numbers in numerology the numbers go from 1 to 9. please can you explain how this works? i have been looking all over the internet for the reasoning behind the theory and nothing has come up. i am currently studying feng shui and not knowing how …

Dear Anon, Often, one can look at the Tung Shu to find out a general date for move-in. Most of the time, a very general date is the 1st lunar and/or the 15th lunar month of any months other than Qing Ming or the 7th month. As for the auspicious date under Geomancy.net, these are paid report(s) and not free. The report considers both clashes in the Tung Shu and individualised to the breadwinner. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  8. Dear Mary, Thank you for making the effort to describe the lot. However, it is quite difficult to provide an accessment because one really needs to look at the site inorder to properly evaluate the situation. Please see below:- 1. Using Flying Star to see which can be your best main entrance. And if possible, the house has good Flying Stars in the various rooms. 2. Use the eight house charts to see where the bedrooms and the main entrance (can be). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Generally, for studies usually what affects you is the location of your study location in the house and also your own "likes" and "dislikes" for certain subject. 1. Often when most people have problems concentrating or doing work, it is usually because you stay in location or working in a direction which is unsuitable for you. This is usually the case. Example you are trying to study in a room which is your five ghost or irritation. Generally, you will not feel very comfortable there. Use the Eight House report to help you determine that. 2. If the Eight House shows a good room for you to study in, then the other reason is the room itself, it may contain bad stars w…

Dear Bernie/Ann, There are some resources on the type of ba gua mirrors under the attachment picture. Try to check out the conference: Photo Tours of Interest (with Pictures). Do a SEARCH for the key words as found in this attachment. A ba gua (pa kua mirror) should not be anyhow placed inside a home. For example, it should not be placed inside a home facing inwards into any of our rooms, living / dining, bedrooms. Or for any purpose, it is not ideal to place it inside the home. If you do a search of the above resource, you can find that a proper type of ba gua mirror (depending on it's shape and mirror and wordings or door gods have different purpose.) For exa…

Dear Samatha, Another alternative is the grille gate. Here, for example, if one has a stainless steel or aluminium gate, some of the panels can be flushed with "steel" or aluminium sheet. Such that for the steel sheet, it covers e.g. the knee level or sometimes we see aluminium gates that have a large area covered up. It is nice to have the steel sheet covering the gille gate surface as it is reflective. And this reflection is akin to a ba gua mirror. Warmest Regards, Cecil

The problem did not blown out of proportion between Manager and me, until the Boss brought us in to his office to slove the problem. He told the Manager that I had complained about her(which I didn't) and vice versa. The whole mediation did not go well and there were still issues that needhis attention, but he is sweeping this under the carpet. Till today my relationship with mymanager has gone beyond repair and that myboss had instigated and used this to his advantage. He will gainboth ways asthe…

Dear Veronique, 1. Although, further investigations may be required e.g. such as looking at the birth chart using say Flying Star. 2. However, under Shapes and Form Feng Shui observation, a good colour would be white or off-white or shades of white. Which represents the metal element. Try to avoid pink/purple or red or shades of this colour. 3. If blue colour is ever used here -- this has carefully evaluated especially under Para 1. Blue can go both ways - i.e. it can either be used to " create " wealth or alternatively be a double edged sword i.e. like hot and cold (blue vs red). Much investigation may be required if this colour is used. 4. Alternative colours can be us…

Dear Anon, This can be a controversial subject. So should I take the GMT timezone into account? Our answer is no. You should not take the GMT timezone (+0800) etc to adjust your date of birth. This is because due to the many simplification in the GMT timezone, it only takes into account a shift in one of the location factor in the world. The more accurate way is to take the timezone in accordance with the moon location. However, for most cases, it is different to provide the actual location where you are born. Thus, if you provide an inaccurate locationfactor, you risk the chance of making the report LESS accurate than NOT adjusting anything at all. As mentioned, the ini…

Dear Anon, Yes, what I mentioned in the Applied Feng Shui course is primarily based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Since (OFTEN) locations that we can place a water position even under Flying Star Feng Shui have to meet the criteria that there is sufficient clear-space to allow for a water position. This is why, in some homes, even if the water wealth position such as double 8's under Period 8, can still be at the "sitting" position e.g. the back of the house. And if the back of the house is the lounge or family room or patio, then, this is a favourable location to activate water wealth position. If the pictures are simply "decorations", then since NW has the water wealth…

Here it is used to try to see if one can place the bed at a good sector of the room. B. The 20 Year Flying Star 1. Firstly, Use this report to check for imbalances…

Dear Anon, I have friends who have a similar chair as yours. It is ok to place it at your entrance area or in the living room area. - If it is placed at the entrance area, it is best to place it facing the main entrance. - If it is in the living room area, best to place if facing `out' e.g. facing a window or door. This is still acceptable. Although my preference is that it is placed at the entrance area. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  25. Dear Carlos, Wow! Double #5's are bad enough (Misfortune/sickness x 2). But with the addition of #9 (strong fire), this is a "potent" inauspicious combination. Since strong fire further fuels strong earth #5 x2. If you can, usually, a set of wind chime could be used outside the bedroom e.g. window area to dissipate this three combined inauspicious combination. In addition, it is best to use metal cure inside this room to further negate the bad sector. Try to avoid: Check the room for presence of Earth element i.e. earth tones e.g. cream, beige or yellow. And further avoid any Fire (red, pink or purple) colour in the room. The most common is to check that the walls are not…
