Yes, it is difficult to say not to clean it. But, in your situation, if there MUST be a need to service or clean the air con, and if you do have other family members (not stakeholders or breadwinners) perhaps could arrange for someone who services aircon. Here, make an appointment with the aircon service person; and if possible, ask one of your family members to be around; and if you can; the breadwinner disappear like the plaque for the period; the servicing of the fan coil ...

Dear Elena, 1. More importantly, the centre of the house would be a major consideration. The impact at the middle of the roof, should not be an issue here. 2. In my opinion, you can still place this unit so long as it is on one side of the roof (centrally is acceptable) where possible try to `balance' it equally between the side of the roof. 3. The centrepoint concept applies more towards the interior of the home where centrepoint preferably is clear space. 4. For the roof, so long as your roof is symmetrical, this additional object should not have an impact. Where possible, the piping should not `drip' down to the centrepoint of the house (as this would not be good). It…

Dear Mr. Lee, For Tampines Green Court, I noticed some blocks with something called Air Well in the centre of the block. See pictures attached (Marked Purple). Is such block considered good or bad Feng Shui? It would seem that the Blocks surrounding the air well could be dark in the centre of the development where all the front doors will be located as sunlight is unlikely to reach the centre unless in the middle of the day when the sun is right on top. How can I tell if a stack is affected by Poison Arrows from nearby blocks. Using the same picture, are there Poison Arrows pointing at the stacks marked with Blue and Red Circles? For Stack marked with Red, …

Hi James, james koh wrote: I am staying on a high floor apartment with all windows facing the Sembawang airbase which is about 1-2Km away. Is this airbase consider an poison arrow? Can you advise, normally how far a distance from mywindowshould I use to check for posion arrows? It really depends on the shape of the building. From what I can tell if the landing air strip points to your home, then yes, this might be considered a posion arrow. If not, it depends on the building, whether there is any corners pointing or cutting into your home. The main thing with air base is often the sound pollution if any. Just like sun light which is considered a sha qi because of the h…

  9. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: If theoffice desk is location that isunder the air - con ducting and air-con water pipingis and trucking of cables. Is it bad for the person sitting there? Of course if you can hide those piping and cables it will definately look nicer for an office. But if you can't then there isn't much you can do. Probably the main concern here is that piping might leak and thus if you have any electrical equipment/important documentsit might get damaged when it leaks. So you just need to be extra careful about placing important documents etc. Also, piping might also have similiar properties like a beam over your head which is like a poison arrow if you a…

Hi Anon, I believe, I had just answered this question regarding an earlier post just a few replied before this. It is not abour the air-con ledge, but rather the toilet which was too close to the main door. Having a toilet located very close to the main door is considered bad feng shui. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  13. Frankly, as I had mentioned all the best practises in the two links that I had given you. Look at it this way: no bedroom is like a tupperware fully air-tight. Sure got leaks. So long as the air-con is not blowing directly towards one's body. Even if the location is ugly, what to do. An air con fcu is as it is. In Singapore, by right, one should not be drilling into a support beam and HDB flats do have support beam and some instances this is was were a suppose to be a good location. Aiyah, many condos have fcu above the toilet as mentioned previously. A reasonably good fcu; would be able to cool down a room even if some leaks. Again, it is not like your room is a tupperw…

Hi Cecil, I forgot to mention in the previous email that the the ceiling of the entire bedroom is a sloping (reversed V-shape) ceiling. Someone suggested that hanging a crystal to the aircon vent is one of the fixes? Will that work? Also, would a poster bed with 4 pillars be an alternative fix (the cloth on the pillars block the cold air from blowing directly to the head)?? Please help! Many thanks!!

Am new to Feng Shui..believe it is pertinent, as is other Asian studies. Eight house AND Bedroom location show SouthEast as very bad..Death direction...this is where my bedroom is. In addition, a NorthEast door is auspicious...mine is SouthEast also. (Eight aspirations though do show SouthEast as favorable...wealth/prosperity). Also, a road intersects my street ("T" shape), almost directly across the street, it is on the edge of my property. There is also lamp post across the street, not directly, it is on the property line. There is also a drainage ditch in the back...it has very little water (2"-3")and it fills after rain, but quickly drains off. The house across the st…

  16. Dear Master Lee, I am bowed down with these worries: 1. My bedroom door faces the windows 2. The staircase lead directly to the side of the altar. I was told both cases create bad feng shui. Please advise to resolve them. Thanks.

Dear Judith, 1. In my opinion, I feel that if the aloe vera is a `soft' (short) plant. And although it has some thorns, these are equally soft. 2. I personally do have several aloe vera plants and I also do not have an issue. 3. In fact, if they grow well and healthy, this is indeed a very good sign. 4. We can draw a parallel to having a TV set in the bedroom. Many of us grew up at an age where each room in the house has a personal TV set. There is no issue for many of us. This is about tolerance level: How thick is our skin? Some of us thrive on pressure. The key point here is that: we have a short life span on this earth. And, what better way to truly enjoy ourselves w…

Dear Anon, If we compare this plant's thorn's they are considered as "pussy-cat" thorns that are real soft and nothing quite like those of the cactus or rose etc... In terms of Feng Shui for a landed property; plants with thorns are actually quite common place especially at external wall windows or at corners of home to deter thieves from climbing into the home. Thus the thorns of the aloe vera seems so mild as it is part of the skin covering the white liquid gel contained within. In my opinion, pose no harm at all. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Max, Yes, Aloe Vera, although has gel inside it's limb's do look some what like cactus especially with its `trimmed' edges on the pointed leaves. If you must, so long as it does not face the main door directly. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  22. Your question is very similar to this:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=31267&new= Hospitals and Doctors need the result of a triage. Cars that has problems (e.g. error codes) or fall sick also needs to be plugged in and a triage done. Today, if Jesus was suppose to be driving a people's car such as a Volkswagen VW; and if the car fail to start; he (Jesus) won't know the problem. He will have to approach "his mechanic" and ask for the above troubleshooting.... Even Moses and the ten commandments on tablets; may have to approach Steve Jobs upstairs to plea with him to have the ten commandment tablets be CONVERTED into IPAD 1, 2 an…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Is it ok to place the altar(Guan Yin)facing west? I believe it is not generally bad to place facing a certain direction. In fact it depends more on what the altar is actually facing, or what is behind the altar etc. Like for example, it is bad to place any altar where the toilet is directly behind it. These type of rulesets are more important to follow, than compared to a fix ruleset that altar can never face west. Anonymous wrote: is it true that the suspended type of altar is not so good? 1. If they share the same wall but different level is OK. 2. Just check to make sure that especially: 2.1. The altar does not share a wall with a toilet. Do check that directly above the altar, there should not be a bed especially a women's bed. Steve L. wrote: Hi, I know it's not good for your bed head to share the same wall as your altar. But, what if the wall is separated by floor level? The altar is on first floor while the bed is on second floor... Thank You James
