Hi Just wondering if someone know the answr to this one. I was born in 1966 and my wife in 1968. We are born in SEA but now live in Perth Australia (Southern Hemisphere). We found out that our lucky directions are opposite of each other from reading feng shui books. At present our house fronts South East and back is towards North West. My luck while living in this house has been OK. I have recent bought another block of land with the front facing NW and the back toward SE and is now drawing up plan to build a new house there to live in. Since booking the block of land and making all the plans for building about 2 weeks ago, I felt my luck has left me and I have been f…

Dear Vivek, Thank you for your sketch of your hosue. Based on your sketch, your entrance to your house should be considered. And in your sketch it looks like East. And not NNE which is the entrance of the building. Please note that the Eight House Theory is meant more to find out how suitable the house is to you and your family members. And it is good if one spents time at that sector. Especially if the sector is the bedroom. The Eight House theory is about people living in the house. The Flying Star can be used to check on the birth chart of the house and find out and neutralise what's wrong with the house. And the Flying Star is about examining and fixing the imbala…

1. This is a true story: 1.1 Hong Kong Shanghai Bank (HSBC) buiding in Hong Kong was built, first. 1.2 Bank of China's (BOC) building came later. And it is shaped like a Chinese sword. 1.3 To counteract this, HSBC bank shaped it's helicopter pad in the form of a cannon aimed back towards BOC. 1.4 To make the story short, later on, the Cheung Kong center placed two18th century cannons (or twin cannons) against another building. 2. So you want to place a cannon? Even if it is an ornamental cannon, avoid facing inwards of a home. At best, it should be aimed out of the home. If your home has a balcony than "like a goal keeper" aim it out or clear of the home!

I am a strong fire (gua 7 west man) and my wife is a strong earth (gua 1 east man) according to theanalysis tools in this website. What element is needed for the both of us that will not be a conflict to us either? We just got into this new hdb apartment, and I believe thefacing is at the balcony which isNW 353' and the sitting is at the main doorSE 170'. I got this information after reading the "Facing direction ofa home" by Mr Cecil Lee. Is the facing of the house good for us? Our master bedroom is at the NE 75' sector of our house and we are planning to put our bed facing SW 225' in the NEE sector of our bedroom since that is the only position possible. Base on the fl…

1. Please note that the article is only based on general comments and statements. 2. And it does not apply only to churches. 3. In my part of the world, some temples are "clean" while others would cause concern. For example, try using a Chinese Luopan at certain temples and it maydetect some form of entity. 4. Symbolically, it is considered inauspicious to face symbols such as a cross or it's spine etc... Katrina L. wrote: I've been reading your free articles. Dear Donna, Please see below:- Based on your description, it does not seem that your main door is in any direct threat unless:- 1. there are supporting posts or struts or lone lamp posts that slices thru your main door. 2. I believe, there is usually a personal compound at the frontage of your house or main door. Para 1 is the main concern. Otherwise, small driveways e.g. neighbour's car porch is in my opinion, no threat to your home. Best of Luck:) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cecil Your site is well built, I found some answers to my problems but I am still puzzled with our new environment. My in-law just bought this house and we moved in with her. We stay in the master bedroom which I know there exists some problems; yet I know there's nothing as perfect. My husband's career has been very bad these days. Hence, I am attaching the floor plan of my bedroom hoping you can help us. My husband's birthday is April 19, 1953. My questions for my bedroom are as follows: 1) If we don't want to remove the mirrored cabinet doors (my husband is not convinced yet, and I want to prove it to him) is there any other way we can do? 2) He sleeps on the righ…

Dear Nguyen, Frankly, what you had mentioned is a relatively common situation. In the bedroom, it is best that the spouse who has a favourable element sleeps closer to the good intangible force sector. For example, if North is an `excellent' sector for the husband. While it is e.g. `spook' for the wife. And the bedroom happens to be in the north sector. Here, try to have the husband sleep closer to north compass direction. While wife sleeps further away. Use the husband as a `shield'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hello, I'm looking to buy a house but I have been told it is an out of trigram house and advised not to buy it. However, the house is perfect for me on so many levels and it's layout and location is very good, feng shui wise. Where I live, it is very hard to find a house with good feng shui layout and good feng shui surroundings. Should I give up on the house because it is out of trigram? It is also a reversed house according to the flying stars for both possible readings but the cures for important areas are the same i.e. metal. Also, would restumping, changing carpets in the bedrooms, changing the kitchen floor, re-sanding the living room floor, changing the f…

You wrote: Question 1: How will the feng shui be affected if I enclose the whole area with a security grille like the one in the photo I attached? There are two schools of Feng Shui: 1. Shapes and Forms. From your sketch, via a top-down view or helicopter view; the outline still looks rectangular. 2. Compass School Feng Shui : Flying Star One should still consider the enclosed living quarters when plotting a flying star chart. And often it is easier to focus specifically on the living quarters (excluding the outdoors). But Flying Star chart can be extended and used to look at any features that some may want to add e.g. in the new outdoor area. For example, some are eyei…

1. This year, whatever you do; don't fill in or "dig earth" at SE sector. As this year, the five yellow and Grand Duke is at this sector. 2. In theory, so long as you don't do major hacking / drilling at SE, adding a fountain, at that sector is still ok.

Dear David, Please see below:- Ideally, more importance is placed on the placement of the stove. The placement of the oven takes second priority. If the kitchen is at the South compass direction, it can still be considered facing `out' of the house i.e. towards the entrance. Can you confirm whether you meant the oven or the stove in the above. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Master Lee, I do apologize for the ambiguous way I asked the question, to be specific: North - Family room - Disaster East - 11 year old's b/room - Death SE - Spare b/room - Irritation South - Kitchen - Spook My front door faces the West as I am a in the West House sector as my DOB is 15/08/57, unsure as to the time I was born. I sincerely do appreciate your advice to this predicament. Best wishes, Rory

Dear Shellie, As what we have discussed about i.e. placement of `cures' is based on basic Feng Shui, therefore these are piecemeal activities. What I can help is based on available information at hand. Because there are other cross checks that can further analyse the situation as we have not gone further into applying other FS applications. If you have not done anything other thing than to place the six coins, then you can try to take it down if it seems to be the cause of not sleeping well. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Cecil Lee I, frankly, agree what you had said, it is often wise not to read too many "wrong books" and as a result in "forcing" us into following too many silly "taboos". Well, have some tips to share, read from oneof the book (author). Hope you enlighten us (users):- 1. If the poison arrow is comingfrom the South, place a large urn of water in front ofyour door. This will overcome hostile energy coming at you. 2. If the poison arrow is coming from the North, place three mounds of earth at the front of your house or three large rocks to overcome the hostile energy. Hanging a faceted crystal in front of your door is also a good cure. 3. If the poison arrow…

Dear Helen, Sorry for the delay in response. You can use `metal' element to counteract the timber as metal destroys wood. You can place e.g. metal tin `circular' metal tin foil on each beam:- 1. Stick 6 metal tin foils or 6 coins on each timber piece. The coins can be any coins e.g. diameter can be 2.5 cm or more. Chinese " ancient " coins (those with square holes in the centre are equally acceptable. If you use the " ancient " coins you can string them with red string and stick them on each beam. 2. What is the purpose? 6 coins represents Big Metal and is used to counter wooden beams. Under the 5 elements concept, Metal destroys Wood. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

1. Other Traditional methods: Since this is a "metallic" "beam", then another option is to draw a small thin red line where this air-duct is just above your head or use scotch tape or masking tape and place a thin red string with two ends with the tape. The red string runs above your head. 2. If you do it properly, very hard to notice the red "line". This red line represents fire element to curtail the "metal". Hope the above helps.

Further to what I had mentioned, below, please goto the Photo Tour with Interest conference and do a SEARCH for "beam", You should be able to find some of the following messages: Conference: Info :: Photo Tours of Interest (with Pictures):- Message dated 9/3/2002 Another alternative: bamboo flute Message dated 6/17/2002 An alternative to neutralise a beam Warmest Regards, Cecil

In my opinion, your statement is too general. But, the true test is to stand inside a unit main entrace door and look out for pillarsor support beams such as those for covered shelters. Thus most likely would often affect a unit or a few units that's all. Unless the overhead bridge structure has spikely trellis etc.

The most less obvious method is to draw a small thin red line the line is the size of a thin red string or even a string directly above your head + shoulders will do. This is best method available: as the red line represent fire element to "melt" or destroy the concrete beam. Other than this, other methods are even more obvious.

Dear Robert, For 1st timers, it is best to go for a `pie-chart' 8 wedges method instead of the grid. If the home is rectangular, than the 9 grid, can easier be applied to. Flying star chart can be used to analyse a singular room or an entire home. Since your purpose is to analyse your own home, than, it is suggested that you try to find the `centre' of gravity of your home. And from this centrepoint, align the north-south compass direction to the template. For example, you can review the resources for the Eight House Chart or Template: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm The metholody is quite similar to the Flying star chart. Warmest Regards, Cecil Regards.
