Dear Anthony, 1. Earth predominantly gives off sickness Qi. This is why #2 and #5 are predominantly bad earth elements. 2. If we look at a Chinese luo pan, we will notice that the outer shell is a rectangle. 3. While the inner is a rotating circle metal piece. As many of u know, circle represents Metal element. 4. A luo pan consists of: Outer square piece represented by the earth Inner metallic dial represented by Heaven. 5. In many of the cures, we therefore, see that Heaven Qi or Heaven Metal Qi is used to neutralise bad earth elements. 6. Therefore, metal, is the chief ingredient. Please see below:- To be effective:- 1. It must not those `play, play' type with so…

Dear Marian, Please see below, This is because it is so easy to quote raw data in only just a few lines and wait for a full assessment. Imagine, if every forum member does this, I am not sure how I am going to manage it. There are already specific tools available. Or make use of any competent FS practitioners anywhere. So, I really appreciate if users do not simple quote such information. Especially in this forum since it is specific only to that individual. As another person's home will certainly not share the same stars or Gua (Kua) number. It is best to use a three-step approach to form the basis of solid grounding in Feng Shui: 1. Understand the purpose of each c…

  3. Dear Hoa Luong, Generally, at Geomancy.net, we focus on fixing the entire 20-year sector problems which usually affects the entire period. The yearly star changes each year, so if you can fine tune the cures and fixes for each year you can obtain the best overall cures or enhancement for your home. Note here that there are many people who worry that after 2004 their house will change to a period 8 house. This is wrong. Flying Star focuses on the Birth chart of the house just like Ba Zi focus on the Birth chart of a person. So for all those staying in a period 7 house (1984-2003), so long as you do not make any major renovation changes to the structure of the house, it wil…

Dear Ivy, 1. Often, some elders (parents) may have a wrong perception that certain years are not good years for marriage or even give birth. 2. But if this is the case, many hotels and restaurants may close down. And for women and children hospitals, they remain idle for much of the year. 3. Frankly, this is not an issue. So long as one does not marry e.g. during Qing Ming and 7th month of the hungry ghosts, other months can be chosen. 4. More importantly, the two dates should match both you and your partner's ba zi. 5. I have provided you a courtesy combined ba zi report that analyses both you and your future husband's ba zi. Simply unzip the attached file and look at th…

Hi, You can make use of the Free Auspicious Dates for Entire Month in the Members Area to assist you. This is very personalised to your Ba Zi and Tong Shu dates to give you the most suitable dates. Alternatively, you can also choose common general dates such as 1 and 15 of lunar month. Or For a Rabbit, avoid days which is Rooster (you), Rat (zi), Tiger (yin) days. These days usually clashes with Rabbit. For a Rabbit, usually day such as Goat, Dog, Dragon and Pig are good dates for a Rabbit. For a more personalised analyse use the Auspicious Dates for the Month. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  6. Dear Anthony, Happy New Year! Please see below:- 1. This is a possibility but frankly, no Feng Shui practitioner in modern times can say for sure. 2. The rationale is because this occurs only every 20 years. And many FS practitioners has not studied this change so closely nor do they have a sizeable amount of people who do so. 3. Good Feng Shui is always practised on the premise that: if it works for MOST of us, it can usually work for another person. 4. But, previously, such information cannot be collected en-mass for detailed analysis. For each practitioner, there can be no cases of this nature (since this is a novel idea). 5. Even if they have one case to study, i…

Dear Steve, There are many form of auspicious numbers:- 1. 666 if you look at it in hokkien is 6 = luck so it is luck luck luck. 2. Some like to go by like 8 (fa - wealth) 3. Another way is by luck number and calcultion based on your gua just as in the example shown in this url:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-eight-gua-number.htm 4. Some by meaning of the number. 4 may be (die in cantonese), but to the westerners 4 is used by like 4 leave clover which is lucky. So all these really depends on how much you believe. I think you should go for what you feel is good for you. 666 sounds like an auspicious number to me. 5. Probably other ways to improve y…

Dear Darlyne, Yes, based on the year of birth 1974 is Tiger Wood. So if you just use a basic Year of Birth Analysis, most will determine you to be a Wood Element. For the many people born in 1974, they will not all belong to Wood element some may be a fire-wood, water-wood etc. So each day provides a different element. There is also another element based on the Eight House Gua Number which is also based on the year of birth. So these two are not very good feng shui analysis tools to determine what element you really are. The best way is to use the Ba Zi Feng Shui where it takes into account your Year, the Month, the Day and Hour of birth to give you a very accurate analy…

  10. Dear Kay, 1. Placing the figurines in the living room is indeed the most common location. 2. In my vast experience visiting Chinese homes, I have observed that the Fu Lu Shou figurines are typically placed on a display table, often on an open shelf. This practice is widely followed. 3. Placing the figurines under a waterfall is not a common tradition. 4. While some may pour virtual water on the figurines, I personally do not recommend this as it is best to stick to traditional customs. 5. It is crucial to ensure that the figurines are not placed below a beam and to adhere to other guidelines such as avoiding placement on the opposite wall of a toi…

Hi, In terms of the two dates, 3 May is better. Though, it is not the best dates but at least it is not as inauspicious as the 30th April 30 which both person are inauspicious. There are other better dates such as 8 May 2003 than the 3 May. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

I lost my job shortly after I had moved to this house. And it has been difficult for me to find decent job opportunities ever since. I am well educated (with several degrees), hard working. I have no bad habit. I usually team with co-workers well. I just cannot think of any reason of being in this situation. Recently, I started paying attention to the "feng shui" of my house: 1. It is a big house (two stories plus a basement and an attached garage) and I am living by myself. I think it is called "leak of energy" according to "feng shui". I have no intention to invite people to live in the house with me. Is there any other "cure"? 2. The breakfast nook sliding "glass door"…

Dear Flannery, It is best to look at the home from the perspective of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. If distinctively, one of the rooms is `meant' to be the master bedroom e.g. bigger with attached bathroom etc... then, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is preferred that the head of the house (breadwinner) should where possible occupy this room. If there is no distinction between the master bedroom or other bedroom, then, you can sleep in the North-East room. Usually, if your daughter is to occupy the South-East room, then, it is preferred that the room is harmonized with her ba zi. And this is checked with the Flying star of the room. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ling Tien, You can do it but, in my opinion, it may not be as effective. In addition, nowadays, a modern office table, has a monitor and for some even a PC cpu on it. And quite heavy. If it is not stable, it may topple down. not too good, thou. Warmest Regards, Cecil

If bedrooms are positioned at North (death)and South (irritation)end of mobile home, where do I put the bed?

  20. Started by myfs_88640,

I am considering a home that has bedrooms at the North end (death) and South end (irratation) of my "8 House Chart". I can move the bed around, but according to your report, these are unfavorable areas of the home to have a bedroom. What can I do? What do you recommend? Thanks

Hi, firstly according to the work position report from this site state that based on my birthdate 6th May 1966 (3.15pm), my bestwork position are north-west and west. Currently I sit facing south which is my 'spook' direction and my back is a wall. Due to the design of my office, I can only change to sit facing west but my back will be the office window. I thought having the back to a wall is better than a window. So, which is better, facing my spook direction with my back to the wall or facing my best direction with my back to the window. Can anyone advise. Thanks. Fred Chan

  22. Dear Fred, Do you maybe have a sketch of the office/room which you work. 1. Ideally the shapes and form is most importantly for office to face the entrance of the room where people enter into the office. 2. The desk has to be anchored to a wall and not just floating in the center of the room. 3. The room should be your favourable at least even if you face the spook. 4. The window behind may not necessarily be bad depending on the layout of the room. So long as like the desk is anchored. Without a sketch it would be difficult to tell for sure which is better alternative. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Danil, The purpose of using Feng Shui, Ba Zi and other Chinese divinity methods is to try to boost our overall luck. The wrong way to approch this is to simply focus at one sector and cover it with gold etc... Let us not forget that there are more sectors than just this sector. The most promising way to enhance luck are: 1. Try to fix any leaks in the home, first. 2. Only after one has fixed these leaks, should one look at enhancements. Overall, Feng Shui should be practised in a holistic way. And, this involves many theories and concepts. And each theory or concept has a specific aim, strength and weakness. Frankly, if one were to do it on your own, then, there is …

  24. Dear Josephine, In such cases, I am sure that besides the unsuitability to the house, there must also be some flying star problems. You mentioned, that the bedroom is in the East. There is inauspicious star there at least until 1 Feb 2003. I am not sure what other stars are in the sector, but you should fix up the flying star problems. Probably my guess is that there are also inauspicious 5/2 in the base star as well. These problems together will usually create such problems as Health. Hi Ms. Lee, Thank you very much for your reply. What you have written seems to impact my luck in my work and health directly. I became hypothyroid after moving in my home just over a year ago. Your reply mentioned that Qi is compressed near the center of the house (X marking) and that I have direct paths of Qi (markings AB and EF). How can I improve the flow in these areas and uncompress the Qi near the center of the house? That is my main concern. Thank you for your reply. It has made me aware that the opening of my home is not taken cared of correctly and that luck that wants to come in is shut by the wall facing the door or goes out by its direct path to the garage or…
