Dear Flannery, It is best to look at the home from the perspective of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. If distinctively, one of the rooms is `meant' to be the master bedroom e.g. bigger with attached bathroom etc... then, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is preferred that the head of the house (breadwinner) should where possible occupy this room. If there is no distinction between the master bedroom or other bedroom, then, you can sleep in the North-East room. Usually, if your daughter is to occupy the South-East room, then, it is preferred that the room is harmonized with her ba zi. And this is checked with the Flying star of the room. Ideally the shapes and form is most importantly for office to face the entrance of the room where people enter into the office. 2. The desk has to be anchored to a wall and not just floating in the center of the room. 3. The room should be your favourable at least even if you face the spook. 4. The window behind may not necessarily be bad depending on the layout of the room. So long as like the desk is anchored.
